He wasn't suppose to let it get this far. He didn't know it had. But it did, and now a planet had suffered because of his uselessness. Because he didn't do what he was meant to - protect it. He didn't though and the planet had been rid of its inhabitants for a short period of time, or so he was told. The area that he was located had barely any life, just dirt. Pure, utterly useless dirt. It was depressing.
Once more I'll say goodbye to you..
Things happen but we don't really know why..
Eli, in a way, threw himself down into the dirt on his bottom as he glared around him; the scenery was barren, useless, dirty, empty, dead. The fact that he had allowed it to happen once drove him insane. Sure, humans had their free rights, which he gave to them, but they didn't have to be so cruel. And because Eli hadn't intervened, the humans had taken apart the land, slowly, bit by bit, killing them. Then, eventually, the planet was blown up. Or so Eli heard, but it was now returned, but lifeless, empty of it's entity, the reason why it was created in the first place was gone.
If it's suppose to be like this
Why do most of us ignore the chance to miss?
Trailing his fingers through the dirt, Eli created little dips like the farmlands used to have when the farmers were getting ready to plant new crop, except for the fact that the dirt was a grayish color and not the rich, soft brown. Slowly, he carved a name into the dirt before he erased it again, anger lighting his face. He hated being like this, he hated the tension. Why did it have to be that way?
Torn apart at the seems of my dreams turn to tears
I'm not feeling this situation
Run away, try to the find that safe place you can hide
It's the best place to be when you're feeling like..
Sure, they didn't get along well, and sure they had different thoughts, different opinions, but they came from the same person, Eli being the actual body before Koty could manage to even separate. But they were brothers, they were meant to fight...but never hate each other as much as they did now. That was never meant to happen.
Suddenly, all the anger boiled over Eli, bubbling beneath the surface before it overflowed. The entire sky turned darker as a storm seemed to roll in; his vision turned red.
Me (me), yeah (yeah)
All these things I hate revolved around
Me (me) yeah (yeah)
Just back off before I snap
Rain pelted down, encasing Eli in a cold and damp environment, but he never felt it. His anger was too strong, causing the clothes he was wearing to singe and burn. His violet eyes flashed brightly with anger. Next to his hand was a small seed that he wasn't even aware of, not even when his anger made the ground rumble and force the seed into a small hole.
As he grew angrier and madder with each thought, the seed began to grow. It was when the tree actually sprouted and shot up next to him did Eli realized what had happened.
Looking up, next to him, Eli saw the willow tree, fully bloomed, swaying in the rain. "What the..?" he murmured slightly, all of his anger going away as it was replaced by joy at seeing pure life created in the midst of nowhere in a storm. Every feeling and thought in Eli's head went away as he scooted next to the tree, a large smile on his face. His happiness forced the clouds away, the sun shining brightly as grass sprouted all around him, only in a small circle, surround the tree and the embodiment of creation.
This what his Place to Think forever now. A small sign grew from the grown, all done up and Victorian styled as soon as that thought sprouted in his head. His fingers trailed over it slowly as he admired it, happy now, though still slightly bitter. What was he going to do?
