The equivalent of billions of nova blasts all going off at once instantly into this Zarethian fleet so hot, so full of energy that any thing that tried to absorb it would likely be incinerated within seconds. So powerful that even ash would be nonexistant. So powerful that, well, you get my point.

It's way to powerful to be absorbed without damage to the ships themselves, and far powerful enough to completely destroy whatever is powering the shields.

OOC: Nik, it couldnt possibly be that powerful. Not even close. If it were, it would cover the whole of the battlefield, not just the ships. Besides, my ships would absorb it. They expend energy to absorb energy which is then used to absorb more energy. The process takes microseconds. As a side note.... if you had something similar to this happen before... There would be no way they could possibly find evidence of what happened in the ensuing destruction and then train their people to react that way.  There probably wouldnt be a fleet left if what you're saying is true.

OOC: Zak, I know the staff here well enough to know that you can't have shields that absorb any energy and disintegrate anything physical period. That is in any way you look at it godmodding. Think about it. If nothing can hurt you under any circumstances then your playing God. Not fair, or realistically possible in a million years.

Also, I feel stupid thinking of this, but I'm not sure how much it matters. Plasma/lightning isn't fully energy. It's also a physical superheated state of matter. Solid-> Liquid-> Gas-> Plasma.

Finally, I am a bit confused on what you are saying. It sounds like you just stated what my Vlerdok did in a tone like, "Really, that doesn't seem possible to me even though I have no evidence to combat it." Could you be a bit more clear on that point?

It absorbs energy. Not all energy but that type of energy. Plasma is energy, or at least, lets it off.

If you had a similar incident where a malfunction like this happened, something that could forewarn you enough to have your technician simply divert the energy stream via a portal towards the other side of the Zarethian fleet, it simply would not be possible that you would know how it happened. Considering that the billions of starbursts that you are claiming to have happened would happen inside said ship and that would destroy said ship instantaneously you would have no proof of what happened and thus nothing to base your training off.

We're not talking plasma. We're talking nuclear fires intense enough to melt a planet in the blink of an eye that blinks 60,000 times faster than a normal human being. Even if you say it's all energy nothing could absorb that energy without God helping. And No. You can't, or I'll get Hikaru to mess you up.

As to your  whole possibility thing, the original incident didn't have Zarethian Starburst cannons to light the reaction. It wasn't lit at all. The energy just flowed out, and once they had it all outside the ship it was struck by a meteor, this ignited it, but took longer for the reaction to happen, and they had almost gotten far enough away from it not to be affected.

And I'm going to go back to my original problem with your post... Your mechanic.  The portal the Zarethians made is a normal portal, made by computing technology. All portals require an entrance portal and an exit portal in order to be effective. Making both is hard because it requires at least semi precise coordinates. This is easiest for machines to do, hence computing. If done incorrectly the portal could malfunction and not take anything through it.
Now, your character did several things within ten seconds. He saw the portal. He realized it was a portal. He then remembered procedures. He made a portal in the ship. He made a portal out of the ship, conveniently in the Zarethian Fleet. Now, for a machine, this may be possible. For an organic being however, this is impossible. It simply happened too fast for someone to do all of those things.

As soon as the Zarethian blasts came into contact with the now unsafe Aflix, decillions of atoms were ripped apart and nonillions were forced into fusion.

Yes I did. Atoms ripped apart=fussion bomb. Forced into fusion=fusion bomb. Each is a kind of nuclear bomb.

I also said in the post that it was using magic and technology. who's to say that there were no computers? Who's to say the Vlerdok are as slow as you make them out to be? Ten seconds can be a long time, especially when you're intently focussed.

OOC: Fusion bombs let off energy. Nik, I'm making them out to be realistically made. Unless they have machine like reflexes they wouldnt be able to do it in said time period. Not only that but you didnt say there were computers. You said he did it himself. It would have taken a longer period of time. And why would he be intently focused when he logically wouldnt be doing anything in the aflux core. If you're in the middle of a battle you might want to let the computer monitor the engine and have the engineers at the ready to repair damage.

Also, in your explanation you said that matter would be changed into energy. That is a simple conversion with no room for the explosive results that you are depicting. In fact, my attack would have powered the aflix, not cause this mass reaction.

Exactly! The Aflix is their source of power. They would have guys on hand to make sure it was going smoothly.

Also, the Aflix is practically a god to them. they worship it. It only makes sence them watching it intently as they plead help.

It creates energy, but that energy can be released. If something explosive is more compact, then it tends to be less volitle. you'r attack  his the parts that were becoming volitile, any your blast that his the Aflix directly would have passed throught the other side as matter.

I've always had multiple guys, and I remember you previously saying things implicitive of you thinking the same.

Amo may be stable. I never said it wasn't. The Aflix's lost energy is unstable.

As I understand it, your blast is energy. If something goes through side A (where we are) then it is converted from energy to matter. If it is matter, then it is effected very little (if at all). Side B converts matter to energy. You sunbursts went through side A. They's be turned into matter be going through.  Represents the Aflix right now.

Yes. I have side A. The location of side B is unknown. The wormhole is one way. Not all wormholes may be, but guess what? There not real anyway. I think I have some leeway on how I make my own  class.

It's implied. Just because it's magintised toward something doesnt make it soluable with it. Take water and oil for example. They don't mix, but if they are to close to each other, the two will be attracted like any liquid would. They wouldn't mix though. It's the same way with the Aflix, and to a simular extent. They wouldnt be attracted at all unless the two energies wer right there or toughing. Also, lets take into account waht I've had happening to it since the destructive post. Your portal is haveing a negetive effect on the Aflix. It has lost grip, and the energy particles ar floating away. Now imagine these unstable things are yanked literally into your blast. Why do you seem to think nothing negetive would happen?

If you want to get into requests then can you show me the shields that absorb all energy WHATSOEVER and desintigrate anything material that comes into contact with your ships?

OOC: Dammit Nik! I'm saying that unless their reaction and mental cognitive abilities are akin to that of a machine they wouldn't be able to react that fast with that much precision! Not only that, I was just saying that it would only be LOGICAL for then to let the computer take care of the aflix and have the engineers ready to repair any damage to the hull or computing systems, in other words, WHAT I WOULD DO. I dont care if they dont do it, but I was just saying that that would be the logical way of going about this.

Actually, Nik, wormholes are real. We just haven't discovered them yet. They're mostly theoretical. A blackhole may well be a wormhole. So screwoff with that excuse.

Implied means nothing. Besides, the energy your wormhole would take would be the same energy. Its electric energy, Nik. Its electric and kinetic. The magic may not mix but the others would.

And if you go look at my request it says that it absorbs energy and that any matter that touches my shield is disintegrated. However, it takes energy to disintegrate. I posted exactly what it would do. The shields cant absorb ALL energy. They cant absorb magic, kinetic, physical energy, etc. They can absorb plasma, radiation, nuclear, EM and electric energy.

OOC: Maybe logical to a Zarethian, but these aren't Zarethians. Take culture into account. They are with their giant religious artifact in a battle. What is illogical about looking for divine help? Nothing is.

We're on side A. It releases energy and absorbs matter. I never said otherwise, unless you are attacking about your shields rather than the Aflix.

Have you ever told an atheist that God is real? He'll say no He isn't. If it's a theory, then it's never been proven real. It still counts as made up because it's still only a theory. It's like the theory of evolution.

It's not electric energy. Just because it's being used doesn't make it necessarily electric. What makes you say it's not plasma energy, or nuclear?
