Lost in thought for a few moments, Vailen considered the possibilities of utilizing the weapons himself and then changed his mind. No, he wouldn't utilize these weapons but perhaps he could get rid of them by finding wielders for them. He then thought of what to say to Hiro and it came easily to him this time. "You say these weapons need wielders...and yet the cursed energy within them makes me want to be rid of them. I know how I can do both. " He then closed his eyes. He levitated into the air,and his armor and wings and weapons vanished from off of him. He then shot lightning down out of his eyes striking each weapon and now they were layered in divine magic which would make their curse less powerful. "My work here is done. " He then teleported away.

(Vailen's supposed to be an Angel, Hawkeye. You know, holy people with wings and shiny doughnut things over their heads? Yeah, those guys. They're good people, they don't resort to intimidation and empty threats.)

(His threat wasn't empty since the view he has of the weapons is that of a blight on Earth, and he thinks he could help best by destroying them. Move OOC chat to OOC area.)

Vailen then said to Hiro as gently as he possibly could. "Listen, the weapons here are a curse. They blight the soil, taint the air and do many other things that they should not do. Therefore as a sage of high quality,  I must destroy these weapons or failing that banish these weapons. "

Hiro had protected Masamune from the lightening, of which he presumed would harm the blade. "Oh, really? Tell, me, oh so wise of ones, exactly what are the charges, hm? Exactly what has each object here done to warrant such a punishment? Yes, I understand that they are known as cursed objects, but might it be that the cursed part is NOT referring to the wielder of them?"

Vailen then thought of what Hiro had said. He then realized he wasn't that intelligent.  In fact Vailen had been a fool to mess with the natural order. Vailen then said to Hiro "It seems you are right that these weapons need to be given wielders. What they did was distract from my job which annoys me since currently I can't get back to work until I lift the blanket curse they have created on this place." He was very irritated. You could see his left eye twitching in frustration.

Hiro blinked about three times. "Uhh...Blanket curse? Whats that supposed to mean?"

"Basically the energy inside the objects mounts over the entire island effectively creating a curse. Now I must depart. I shall meet you again one day Hiro, though it will not be here on this island where you have the home advantage." He then growled in frustration and vanished in a huge plume of light. The house he created vanished to, as his enchantments no longer sustained it.

"...Whaaatever..." Hiro said, then returning to his friends. They'd need to be going, soon enough. After all, it HAD been a while that they were there, and it had only been a visit.
