NOTE:Unless everyone is stupefied as to the in-universe and has no idea what the heck Im talking about, I wont probably explain much of it. It takes place in the universe of Megaman Starforce, using characters I've made for a RP based off it. Not everything is canon to that world, like the Kingdom; thats a creation of mine.
Hiro was running along the Wave Road, just testing his speed. He'd been getting faster, as always, and at this point he was going at near mach-three. Of course, he wasn't able to do this normally-after all, a normal Human could hardly run at such speeds without destroying their body. No, at the time he was Wave Changed with his partner Arcane, a alien from the planet FM. Or was it AM? Either way, that part didn't matter, as both had very similar life forms on them; they were a form of life that existed as electromagnetic waves, which fit in perfectly with this Earth's state of technology, where everything ran off EM Waves and such. Anyways, Hiro was going along the Wave Roads, when he saw Sara Coal, another Wave Warrior like him. Sara was from a place known as the Wave Kingdom, and her partner, Shades, was a being who didn't talk much. According to her, Shades was a legendary warrior of whom had taken down their King several hundred years ago, when he was corrupted by his own paranoia into a horrible dictator. He'd have to take her word for that; obviously he wasn't there, and he hadn't the same lifespan as a Wave, even though he was constantly in such a state. What he DID know was that shades was always wearing sunglasses, looked like a little green orb...And had a possible obsession with Afros. Anyways, he saw her, and stopped, trying to slow himself down from such a speed...And as he was skidding, he tripped. "No, no, not again!" He yelled, falling off the Wave Road, and skidding his face off the pavement. This seemed to happen to him a lot; there were at least four other instances that his face had made contact with the ground...Anyways, Hiro got back up, and rushed back up onto the Wave Road, to greet Sara, who had seen him fall off the Wave Road and was still laughing.
"Shut up, Scroll..."
"Why, Hiro? Or, if your going to refer to me by that name, 'Darkman'. That was pretty funny!"
"..Yeah, yeah..."
"Anyways, whats up?"
"Well, I wanted to know if you'd heard about the increasing attacks by Keith's Mavericks?"
"Yeah...He's getting more and more bold nowadays. Its like he deliberately wants to stir up trouble on our front. HYe knows we'll just smash them, doesn't he?"
"Well, even we cant be everywhere at once."
"So just call in the Stars. You know that we really should, considering how much they call on us for help."
"Nah, you know they have their own battle. We'd best take care of this one ourselves."
"Yeah, especially since he keeps tearing up the malls! WHERE AM I SUPPOSED TO HANG OUT IF THERE AREN'T ANY MALLS LEFT!?"
"...Uh...I've always liked the Wave Roads..."
"Well, I like malls. The Waves are fine, if you want to get from one place to another fast, but I'm more partial to the Real World, not the Wave World."
"Why are they even referred to as such? I mean, its not like we enter some other planet or anything..."
"Off topic, Hiro."
"Riiiight, gotta watch that. Anyways, I was just on my way over to some of them. You wanna come with?"
"Nothing else to do, I guess...Just clear away any Viruses in our way, got it?"
"Why would we need to do that? We're going at Mach-Speed...They cant catch up to us at that speed."
"Hiro...If you just grab me and start running at high speeds, I'll kill y-"
She didn't get to finish her sentence, because Hiro had already grabbed her and started running. She never could get used to that Murian's insane speed...How Hiro managed to keep it up, she'd never know. They arrived while the robbery was taking place, a few Maverick Mechaniloids as per usual of Keith. Mechaniloids weren't from Earth, or at least this one(they didn't know what they called the planet they were invented upon), but from what they could tell, the were extremely advanced machines. And they were definitely armed...From what it seemed, there were four Galleon wings, two Variant Claws, and a Variant Missile acting as a C.O.
Hiro used the massive amount of Noise Radiation within his blade to use Spectre Noise, a powerful Noise Change based off his now deceased friend, Alex Kobayashi. His blade, now changed from a broadsword into a katana, was lit on fire, as per usual considering his friend's abilities were of the Fire Element. He slashed through a Variant Claw before it was able to shash back, causing it to fall apart from the slash before exploding. Sara used her trademark scrolls to dice a couple galleon Wings, and also stabbed one with one of her scrolls. They were basically like the paper of a scroll, as flexible as that, only stronger, and much, MUCH sharper along the edges, and she also had a fair range of attack using them. She also had complete control over them, and they to an extent replaced her hands when wave changed, considering they came from her sleeves and she didn't usually take her hands out of her sleeves when Wave Changed. She had then used the caught Galleon as a bludgeoning tool to smack they other Mavericks a few times, but didn't get much of a chance to use it, considering it exploded a second after she smashed it into another Wing. The remaining Claw jumped at Hiro, pouncing on him and also clawing him, while Sara was locked on by the Variant Missile, which fired it's shoulder mounted missile launcher. A single missile came out, or so it seemed...For it launched about three others from itself, all about a third of the original missile's size and all four headed for Sara. She used her scrolls, however, to catch the missiles midair, and smashed them all into the Variant Missile, which caused it to explode. Hiro was still fighting with the annoying Variant Claw, which had somehow kept him in a grip with one arm and was about to claw him with its other, but Sara grabbed its other arm with her scrolls to drag it off him and allow him to slice it in half.
"Hmm...Looks like its the same stuff he always takes, screws, metal, computer chips, basically parts for his Mechaniloids." Hiro said, investigating the stuff that the Mavericks had been making off with. "Well, nothing else here to check out, why dont we get going?"
"Sure, nothing else here for us."
"As they were exiting, however, a humanoid figure jumped behind them, aiming a cannon at them. With its eyes glowing red, and its massive bayonet, it was certainly a imposing enemy. "Where do you think your going, humans? You wrecked my Mavericks...Do you know how long it takes to make them?"
"No clue, Keith, but what I do know is that you need to stop. Im not going to stand by and let you just murder people!"
"You say that like you can stop me, boy. Lets see if your correct!"
Keith then ran at Hiro, and was going to slash at Hiro with the bayonet on his cannon. Hiro ran for him as well, his blade still burning and able to dice his foe into pieces...
