The Butchery
« on: June 29, 2011, 02:32:46 PM »
Headed to sub level 1 of a facility that was hidden deep under the surface of Ocean Island, beneath the water itself and virtually escape proof with all anti fields on, Ken wore an AAM medallion around his neck as he descended on the elevator which he was one of the few that had a key card to. As it was things could not be allowed to go on like they were. Intervention would be needed, but it could not be tied back to him or the Imperial Guardians and that is why he was coming here.

It took a criminal to beat a criminal and since Mann was guilty of criminal acts well Ken did not want to do this but it seemed like the best bet. Walking through the halls of the prison he headed to the maximum security area where two criminals were kept, one of which would be the ticket needed to punch Mann?s ticket permanently assuming this would work.

Mann, Decadea, Thel and Halsey. Four annoyances the galaxy would be better off without, two of which could not be reached currently and one of which was shielded in False Heaven. Mann was about the only weak link in that chain that could be dealt with. And so he would be dealt with in due time but for now Ken had to think of his priorities. "I have come to have the criminal known as The Butcher released. His life sentence has been reduced to probation under the jurisdiction of my personal security force."

"Denied. This 'Butcher' is guilty of multiple counts murder in the 1st degree, and his civilianship has therefor become permanently forfeit. For his crimes, he will never again see the light of day, never again know peace. He is a lab rat, useful only to be tested upon even after his death. May whatever almighty there may be have mercy upon his soul whence he departs the mortal realm, for we shall have none." The Mechera guard to the left of the door said, both of them wielding lances with a electric charge. In truth, their bodies both seemed to be a model imitating some form vaguely medieval in design, like a knight of old. They blocked the path with these lances as well, barring entry. The one to the right said as well,"Even if ye were able to get him pardoned, he is in no condition to survive in the outside world. His body is chemically dependent to a drug put into their foods. If he were to leave, he would die within four hours. Its our way of making sure they dont try to...Escape."

"Allow me to take a DNA sample. I have ways to work around his little addiction. But his dna is needed, not him at this point in time." He did not say what the DNA was for. Well this seemed to be annoying to Ken to have to put up with the guard, and so he concentrated his energies gathering them in the palm of his hand and shaping them into a small crystal knife. "Cut him with this. One cut anywhere. It will extract his DNA pure of the toxins you have put in the food, and then send the DNA to my private lab. Trying to recreate something that was tested on him."

"His genetic code has already been mangled beyond repair by the tests done upon him. Im afraid little would be gained from trying to use it that we haven't done already."

"He is one of three that the BG tested a drug on. Compound Berserker I believe was the name of it. Unfortunately I can find nothing on the drug, no ingredients or any data whatsoever. They didn't keep it on the net, they don't have it on paper and thus getting it from one of the injected with it was the next best alternative. I was going to analyze it and make a cure." said Ken.

Truthfully though a cure was not what he would make. Instead he would remake the drug, only this time more potent and addictive. And this one would grant the ones inflicted with a lot of other abilities.

"Im doubtful there's anything left of it in that scum. Must be the substance he keeps asking for, seems the withdrawal is torturous. However, you are unlikely to glean any of the substance from him, even if it remained in his system. It'd have been processed by his body, turned into something completely else by now, and getting it from his DNA will not be possible, with the amount of testing performed upon him."

"Drat. I'll have to check all the prisoners and see if any of them have the serum in them. If not, I will have to hunt down the creator of the serum and beat the information out of him. " said Ken, now more than a bit not pacificed as things had gone from bad to worse, his plans were unlikely to succeed to an extreme degree today and that was a problem he would need to address.

"I should hope you are not speaking completely seriously, Sir Ken. Remember, you yourself are not above the law." The guard said, eying him with...Well...Its one eye. "It is a crime, after all, to attack and physically beat another, and as members of the Royal Guard here on deploy to be sure that everything is going smoothly, we would have to report this to King Gregory if this person were to be injured."

"Except for 3 things. One of which, few people know who made the serum. Something I will have to find out for myself, and the only ones who do know it have had their minds wiped clean or been killed..." He said, thinking of how Silen's mind had been totally erased and he had been turned into a doddering idiot by Victor Price during his quitting of the BG. "And I was not being literal." With that, he teleported away since it required only a small amount of his magical capability to get away.
