A deal
« on: June 30, 2011, 07:04:59 PM »
A single Narrikian ship headed towards the new planet Coldlands. It was here on a scouting mission and also a diplomatic mission as a diplomat was on board this to come to the planet and see what all was there in terms of technological level.

OOC:Arright.

The Negi planet ColdLands, a twisted form of Elmora...And of course a evil one at that.
As the ship neared the demon world, it would begin to freeze. Temperature regulation systems would simply shut offline, and the heat inside of the ship would be drained out from it. As they'd near the planet, they would see the oceans, which they'd likely thought were liquid water...Instead frozen ice. This would be the last thing they'd be able to see before their ship would suddenly freeze solid, even the air within turned to solid ice.

As the heat was drained out, it was recreated with magic. Ship shielding was used to block the magic, and AM fields were turned on to affect the outside of the ship and protect it, thus causing the ice to cease existing. This plan would work, and the crew would gain another factory that Lucien could use for his inventions of course that would take a while.

The ColdLands this time waited for them to land.

Instead a magical hologram would display near the Negi.

Greetings Sentient Creatures. We wish to discuss things with one of your people. Where would be a good place to land on your planet? Also could you stop attacking our ship?

"Upon the Frozen Seas." Was all they got for a reply, from a voice that had come from nowhere.

A pod containing several Magi-Androids was launched to the frozen seas, one of them had Diplo Plus, a diplomatic programming installed in him currently, one of the basic technologies the galaxy had made, but was adapted for use in this situation. That android stepped out, and began to search for Negi or other similar things.

The pod was frozen immediately as soon as it entered the atmosphere, not a product of magic but of the planet's will itself. The same as though a human would have blinked its eye or moved its arm; this was simply the planet moving, acting of its own accord. After it was completely frozen, a lance of ice jutted out from the Frozen Seas, spearing the pod, where the part within it created even more spires of ice, destroying everything within. The ice moved as though a liquid, retracting all of the spikes except for the main one, and flinging the pod out of the atmosphere before the shard of ice retracted back into the seas.

"We were sending the machines down to check the atmosphere of the planet first, for anything toxic. A precaution we take these days quite often enough. But very well. We will send down a Hazmat team first."

---
A crew was prepared and outfitted with Hazmat protective technologies including suits that had thermal coils built into them that would allow them to withstand the cold. Price powered armors were worn under the suits and these men teleported to the location where they had been told to land. One of them took out a device and plunged it into the ice, a device that would measure the toxicity levels of the ice.

As soon as they teleported there, they were encased in ice. This ice crushed them from all sides, as well pulling them beneath the surface of the Frozen Seas, dragging them to the bottom. They could not move, nor scream, as they would be pulled down and crushed by the sheer pressure of the ice pressing against them from all sides. Even their armor would be useless once the pressure was great enough, and even if it wasn't the presure that killed them, the lack of oxygen would.

The ship landed. A full AM field was around it, as were all other anti fields that could be made.

"I suppose I really must apologize to you all...For you see, I lied."

The temperature around the ship dropped, freezing it to the planet, as the hatches and all forms of escape were frozen solid. This was not a product of technology. This was not magic. This was simply the power...Of Coldlands. It was the Coldlands flexing a arm, moving. They were doomed the instant they entered the atmosphere. Soon enough, the temperature within dropped as well, the computer systems freezing. The temperature was too low for them to operate anymore, and temperature regulation systems were already inoperable. The only thing remaining online were the generator, and the anti-field systems. With no way to shut them off, the computer systems made to control them already offline due to the cold and access to the power generator and the field generators too frozen solid to get to them, these fields that they'd thought would protect them had become the final brick of their tomb, the last nail of their coffin.

They died, but the ship sent out a distress beacon. A distress beacon warning every Narrikian away from Cold Lands.
