These are, as the topic says on the tin, elemental species of beings. Their magical powers are specialized, though, and so are very strong magical warriors-except when it comes to magic outside of their element.
And yes, yes they are the attributes from Yugioh. Blah. The reason I mention this is because of the fact that Divine and Light are separate. XP They each come from a different planet in their own Trinary Star System I'll likely make at some other point, but they can travel to each of the planets due to a special 'Gate' on each planet. Technologically, they are primitive, but intellectually, they are vastly more sentient than OOC Humans. They merely dont express it with tech, but with their own forms of magic...
Divine:The wielders of the element Divine are the most religious of them, and are most in touch with their 'Gods'. Their Kingdom is a extreme Theocracy, and any attempt to say that there is no God other than their own will literally have the infidel put to death on the spot. Their magic mainly focuses with Heaven or Underworld themes, not necessarily Light or Dark, however. Their spells mainly summon powers of the soul itself to attack their foes, manifesting in demonic/angelic familiars which do most of the combat for them. Individually, they are the most powerful, but they are but one kingdom against six-they know when they're outnumbered, which is the only reason that they haven't already invaded the other planets to force them to submit. They look eerily human, and the only way you'd tell them apart is the fact that their shadow just...Doesn't look right...
Dark:The beings of Darkness, sinister as their powers may be, are actually a peaceful people by nature. Wielders of the Elder and Arcane Black Magics, the Dark Elementals favor spells that use shadows and the very Darkness around them to fight, and their combat spells are generally the most powerful, though they still fall behind Fire in terms of destruction. They are the archrivals of the Light Kingdom, and the two are rarely on the same side politically, and frequently do battle. However, citizens of both have been known to even have lovers in the opposite kingdom, and its widely known that the wars are merely politics. They are known to be the Wisest of the elemental kingdoms, as well. They worship the Goddess of the moons, Lunera, and while their religion does actually acknowledge Soltic, God of the Suns, he is not their god, much in the same way Sumerian City-States of Earth had the same Gods, but each only worshipped one or so. They look like humans, but with a darkish Purple-Gray skin, hbaving either draconic or black angle wings growing out of their backs, and some have small horns. Other than that, they are actually quite gorgeous, and, along with the Light Elements, are thought by some to be the most beutiful in the universe as a whole species(meaning, along with the Light Elementals, they have the highest percentage of glorious beings aesthetically; by no means are they ALL the most appealing).
Light:The beings of Light, rivals of those of Dark, are, like all Elementals, extremely Adept at their art. They can bend light itself to create illusions, or turn it into physical weapons capable of dashing the blood of their foes across the rocks or whatever the terrain is. They are in a clashing rivalry between them and their opposites, the Dark, and often wage war. However, as with the Dark, it is common knowledge that this is mere political rivalry, and in fact citizens from the two kingdoms often become lovers and pay little, if any, to these petty governmental quarrels. They worship Soltic, God of the Suns, and while they acknowlage Lunera, they do not worship the Goddess. They are very glorious beings, much like the Dark, but like everything else, they are opposites. They look rather angelic, with white angle wings(and, occasionally, white dragon wings), and their skin is a pure caucasion, with hardly any difference in skin-color. As with the Dark, they are considered by some to be one of the most visually appealing species in the universe, as a whole species.
Wind:The beings of wind are the most agile of all the Elementals, being capable of dodging most attacks with ease. They also happen to be the most free spirited of them all, and they love to fly above all others, and will often fly away from others just for the thrill of the chase. This doesn't mean they're docile-come at them with hostile intent, and they'll toss you around like a ragdoll before tearing you to shreds with their wind magic. While their magic IS the weakest, this is traded off as their's is also the most adapyable and furthest ranged. They have no true deity, not wishing to bind themselves down, so their religion could be considered atheism. They look like the Harpy Lady series of cards from Yugioh, and their males merely look like male versions of those, obviously. Use your imagination.
Earth:Those from the Elemental Species of Earth are the most in tune with nature, and can create massive forests or mountains to crush their foes, or in their most powerful, they can summon Golems to pulverize their foes. Their religion is basically one of worshiping the planets themselves as deities, and also nature. A more accurate way of saying it is that there are no deities in this culture, but they feel that the 'equivalent' would be nature itself. In appearance, they'd be likened to Elves and Drow from most D&D style video games, but are the same height as humans.
Aqua:The elementals of this planet are mages of water itself, and have been known to be exceptionally powerful. They are able to control basically any water, and so thus can use the very water in their foes to take control of their enemies in some situations, but this is very difficult for them, and their power also is dependent upon the amount of water nearby; put them in a desert, and they are powerless. They are basically mer-people, and thus they dont do too well on planets without large bodies of water. They worship the god of the ocean in their culture,"Orania".
Fire:A Fire Elemental is a foe not to be taken lightly. Hot-headed, they are quick to anger and quicker to burn their foes if provoked. Be careful when dealing with them, for their fire magic allows them to create massive wildfires able to burn entire cities to charcoal. Their planet, in fact, is literally a massive fireball; and they use black gems for their buildings. The only place devoid of fire are the locations of their planet's Gates, which, are too high up for the fires to reach. The black gems can be freely taken; the elementals really dont care, and they have enough as it is, plus its only a building material for them anyways. In appearance, they are Humanoid, but their eyes, hair, and nails are purely red, and they are completely impervious to flame.
Just a note about them, but their DNA makes their species genetically compatible for breeding with most other humanoid species, however, they cannot have a hybrid with any. When breeding with another species, there is a 50/50 chance of the child being the species of either the mother or father. Certain traits may be acquired, yes, but overall the offspring is one or the other. Also, I dont have enough time to edit the entire thing(the parental controls on this computer will log me out in a little bit, and I wont be able to get back on until tomorrow), so just replace the things about the different planets with continents or something to that effect, and I'll apply for their 'empire' if this is approved to get them a planet.
