Off World visitors?

Rumor had it certain types of items existed on Earth. While he himself did not want to go to the back-water planet that had been plagued by many disasters however his book had other plans that did involve him going to the planet. So Lucien was teleported to the planet Earth right in the middle of France to be exact. Looking around, he cast a spell that would allow him to speak French.  Now all he had to do was find where they kept their libraries on mythical items. And then his research could begin.
 
Unlike normal times he did not have the same gear that he did previously. He had put his Father?s Sword in the new white room. His garb had changed to, for he had given up mourning the loss of his father and had decided to live for the present and not the past. Rather, his garb looked very different from what it would normally be as he had decided to change it up a little. The outfit he now wore, had black but not as much as his former clothes did. Rather the outfit had some golden thread woven into it, and some enchantments added to the garments as well.

"Now where could the library be?"

"KEEP 'ER STEADY, KEEP 'ER STEAD- Hey, kid!"

Lucien had teleported right into a construction zone where part of a new ship was being constructed. Someone was manning some sort of tractor beam, slowly lowering pieces of metal onto other pieces while giant lasers welded the pieces together. The construction foreman looked up from the construction to deal with Lucien.

"What're you doing!? This is a restricted construction zone!"

[Zero]

"Excuse me then. "

With that he held out his hand. A map would form in it of France. Choosing a clothes shop he mouthed a spell. "Incendia."

And with that, he would teleport to the clothes shop. But the teleport was more fiery, and as a result would have destroyed the map.

"Welcome to Piere!" a stores showman greeted Lucien, ushering him into the store. "How may we help you today?"

[Zero]

"I need some clothes that can blend in."

"And are somewhat more modern than what I have."

"Also a bit more durable. "

"So what do you have today?"

Lucien looked around, and so did the book through his eyes. The book tried to nudge him in the right direction of choosing a few outfits that would fit him.

"Oh, I know just the thing that would look SPECTACULAR on you. Right this way, right this way!" he said, ushering Lucien to a fur jacket. "This is a one-of-a-kind original created by none other than Alexander Ferrin!"

[Zero]

"No, fur doesn?t look good on me. It tends to burn too easily. Besides it would not survive very long." Examining the jacket, the book thought of what the jacket was made out of and mentally sighed. It did not like fur outfits, but regular ones could still be worn by Lucien as long as they did not include fur which was considered to the book anyway to be overheated. In fact, the book got a plan. Overheat the jacket. Cause it to spontaneously combust, and why not after all there was nothing they could do currently. But the book knew better than to enrage the K empire.

"Hmm. What about that one?" Lucien pointed at a black leather jacket, black jeans, combat boots and it even had a sheath at it's waist for a sword and a holster for his book.

"Very good," the salesperson replied, "Yes, yes. I think it would work quite well."

[Zero]

"I'll take it. How much?"

"Also do you have a library on all magical items or similar for this planet anywhere?"

Lucien had to find said library.
