Nope. It wasn't going to end like this. In the limited time he had been on earth, Benjamin knew a threat when he saw it.

He could sense the danger of the three cylinders barely in the distance. His spacefarer's lenses zoomed at extreme distance and he saw them coming from far, far away. Benjamin cracked his neck, this would be some of his finer work. His xPod powered up, but instead of going through his ear buds they streamed through the speaker attached to the device itself. Heavy metal music streamed from his speaker. Suddenly, the music stopped as a chorus screamed, "FUCK THIS." a breakdown carried it away as the main vocalist screamed, "Payback's a bitch. Leaving you stranded on the side of the rode."

Giving his staff a playful twirl, he braced the staff like it were a baseball bat at the three smoking cylinders moving at extensive speed. As they drew near, he exhaled slowly, and ran at breakneck speed and swung his staff with a furious energy, putting everything into the swing. A sonic wave rippled, magnified by his staff. It shattered windows and sent people sprawling, it tore at structures and caused all kind of damage. But suddenly, the three distant shapes of missiles were hit by the sonic wave, and they flipped around, flying back to their source.

Benjamin grinned as he leaned heavily on his staff. That. Was a powerful magic. Too powerful. He passed out on the sidewalk, bleeding internally, but the grin permanently frozen on his face.

Why had he spared the race he hated? Well, the way he saw it, Benjamin was the one who was going to destroy mankind. Anyone trying to beat him to the punch was going to get it. He always hated Russia anyway.

Unless you managed to travel back in time and/or somehow reincarnated the missles after they exploded...Well that's just it. They've already exploded. The USA is not owned by any particular alliance so I do not have to wait the standard 3 days for myself to claim it. Please recan your post and next time, read carefully

I read very carefully. You saying they exploded without resistance is essentially god moding. I don't have to own America to defend it. Say good bye to the USSR m'dear.

"Nooope." Abel muttered to himself as the USSR missiles just stopped, turned around and shot back towards the USA with increased speed. Unlike Benjamin he didn't waste his entire strength creating an ineffective sound wave, he just used basic telekinesis and turned it on his own before pushing it faster with his mind.. Being comparable to a Lord of Psionics made him that dangerous. "Fuck you East Coast." He muttered as the missiles were practically there.

(You used a sonic wave to do it, which would have taken a lot more work to get the same effect.)

The missiles corrected their paths instantly, and maintained their increased speed. As the USA and the USSR thought that they were trying to control each others missiles, they sent out more nukes. The more nukes USSR sent, the more the USA sent. The more the USA sent, the more the USSR sent. The UK, France, China, India, Pakistan, and North Korea launched their nukes. MAD has started. Thousands of nukes went everywhere, all around the world. World leaders went into bunkers that protects them from nukes, and the radiation. The countries refused to back down the missiles. In fact, they destroyed the only controls that stops the nukes. It went out of control. The UN can't maintain order. The United Nations Secretariat Building was rioted from civilians, and fell to the ground.

The satellites orbiting the Earth could have shot down the nukes, but they shot each other, instead of the nukes. There would be only one satellite left, but the immense amount of debris went into it and destroyed it. Now, there is no way to prevent the nukes.

The Dark Heart was in the Sol System, its crew rather bored. The crew of Possessed hadn't gotten a single contract for a while, and so they weren't with much to do. Sara was bickering with her weapon over some trivial thing as usual; apparently she accidentally splashed soda on Malious, her lance, and Malious was demanding that she apologize, and admit that brand of soda was terrible, while Sara was responding that Malious should just give up the argument, as she wouldn't ever admit such a thing. Hiro sighed, tired of their constant squabbles, and asked Masamune,"So...Since we're in the area, think we should return home soon? Earth is the closest planet around, according to the instruments."
The blade replied in his mind, as always,Hm...It seems something with Earth is up...If we do, we should proceed with caution...
"Huh? What makes you say that?"
Look out at the planet...I'll even give you three guesses.
Hiro looked out at the Earth, and saw the streaks of the nuclear missiles, proceeding to deliver their deadly payload. "UNHOLY SH-Sara, Malious, stop fighting with each other for a bit, will ya!? We've got a problem!"
"What what?" sara said, startled by Hiro's outburst. Malious, also startled, shut up inside her head and had her turn to see what was going on.
"Um...Sara? I dont got a clue what kinda missiles those happen to be...But with a trajectory like that, I'll tell ya that they cant be good. It looks like a wars brewwin'...And I dont like the looks of those missiles, not one bit. Not enough to be normal ones, at least, considering it'd take a lot more normal rockets than that to lay down oblivion, which I think means that those are some kinds 'a nasty. Wanna go see if we cant stop 'em?"
"Um...Yeah...Lets go see if we cant play hero or something."
"All right, get everyone ready. Lets see if we cant shoot those down!"

As the hundreds of nukes were launched they were met by thin but powerful beams of energy, they were easily disabled as the beams hit the detonating mechanism. ~~Legion~~ stared in space surrounded by the debris a dark smile on his horrid face, on of the requirements of being an Imperial Guardsman was to know the anatomy of every countries nuclear weapons, every countries but the USSR's, which hit their mark with deadly precision.

As their nuclear weapons were disabled ~~Legion~~ began to aim the beams for the locations of the other countries leader's. Charging his energy he began to group up large amounts of energy so he could use a powerful offensive spell.

(Well, you know how the tensions are between the USSR and the USA...)

As only hundreds of nukes were taken down, the remaining thousands of nukes reached their target, and detonated upon impact, creating thousands of nuclear explosions all over the world. There became a hell of a lot of radiation. Only a very few number of people would survive. The leaders are safe underground, protected by rock. Some of the military forces are safe, but most of them are instantly destroyed, the rest is soon to become exposed to the radiation, if they don't worry. The radiation would last for billions of years.

The nuclear explosions created a big signature, noticeable by everything in the galaxy. Radiation is soon to give off its own signature, as well. The signature attracted a Keeper, as a scout, to find out what's going on, and found the answer in front of it.

But as the nuclear weapons exploded much of the population of the USSR had been transported into a large bubble of air outside the atmosphere. ~~Legion~~ and Abel stood side by side, keeping the bubble there with little effort. Quickly they began to suck most of the planet's radiation into an area in empty space, while the Earth was in ruins if the radiation could be removed the it would heal.

As the radiation is put into space, it expands ever so quickly, as there aren't as much things to stop it in space, and the lifetime has been extended greatly by another few billion years, as it wouldn't be diluted as much in space.

The radiation is becoming dangerously big. The more it expands, the faster it expands, as there is more to expand. It expanded towards the USSR population, as well as ~~Legion~~ and Abel, and of course, Earth.

The Keeper has been watching of what's happening, and 2 others have been sent to clear up the radiation with their tractor beams, doing the job very quickly.

But it never even came close to the populace, as when it entered the vacuum it was still being directed. It was water shooting through pipes and ~~Legion~~ as well as Abel were the plumbers. "Sorry kiddo, I gotta go. Play nice now!" Abel yelled, disappearing.

(I just posted that it was being directed, all radiation is, is energy. And sage excel at controlling energy.)

And the radiation continued on it's course to what seemed to be Mars, quickly speeding up to the speed of light.
