We have a right to debate.

I do not agree with Hikaru locking the other topic because all she did is made it where the topic would have too be carried somewhere else instead of keeping it contained. She believes this is going to go away but it is not. Lets face it, if the members don't like an event and all we get is you have to do it or leave then whats the point in playing? We make up this site, we are the supports tot it and I know damn well if the members left because they didn't like this event it would burn into the ground. Lets face it, right now if the members quit because they didn't like the event this site would die.

Zak is right. Hikaru, Swift, Chase, they all complained about how we haven't done anything to help make this board active so they took it on themselves to make an event that is OP and just plain dumb. Yet other then hearing about one topic I don't recall seeing anything talking to the members in public.

Hikaru was right about a few things.

In roleplays, staff hold events, make the site fun, do maintenance and run the site. That is their job.
That in turn is true. But this event isn't fun. All it is in my opinion is someone on a big ego trip for reasons I don't even care to know. Lyoko, I like you but the problem is Alpha is way OPed. I would have been fine with this event going and sitting back and doing what I wanted and stayed out of the way. But that isn't an option according to you. Lets face it, the ability to turn the power off to everything in the universe is impossible. Unless the character is over powered.

On top of that you guys say you are desperate yet I see very little attempts of trying to keep the rp afloat. I too my knowledge have anything done to help make the board more active other than this event.

I think I can really shed some light on why not a many people are doing anything. No magic. The eclipse event took magic away. Because of that half the members here can't use there characters with magic, I am among them. But if that is why they quit for a bit then why would it be in the board's best nature to take away technology too? Just want the other 50% to stop playing as well? That in the end is all you guys are getting done.

With Lyoko's explanation that Alpha stops all electricity from running then that means there is nothing we can really do stop him from stopping that. The problem is you tell us to prepare for this, and come up with new stuff but some of us actually don't meta-game and advance are technology in the order of how it would be. That in fact is almost all of us, but Nisorin who was in the process of requesting new technology but was denied because of the Alpha event. So if you denied Nisorin because of the event you are probably going to deny anyone else, so it is clear that it is too late to do anything about this. I would love to do something about this event but without meta-gaming I can't and that is the same spot everyone else is in.

I hear how we should all stop complaining but what good would that do? At least we come and log on so we can complain. If we did leave how long do you guys actually think this site would last? If it dies then the rp is done, lost forever, and Regina, if you care about the story you have sunk your time into as much as I think you do then you will want us to come to an agreement and settle this debate. Otherwise I'm pretty sure each and everyone of us could live without this site. Hell it already looks that way now. But hopefully it doesn't have to come to that.
