That's a Very Nice Race You Have There...

Nigel Aliv was his name, and he was sticking to it. He'd come to far to fail now, and by to far it was roughly twenty-six feet if you take into account that he had teleported. And he had waited so long, unless of coarse you take into account that he filled all those years with great entertainments and fun activities of all sorts, and of coarse all sorts meaning only a few things that would lead you to believe this to be a man of questionable character which of coarse he was.

But that didn't matter right now. Right now all that mattered was that he got to his appointment on time.

As he approached the secretary's desk, he smiled and said, "Hello. Yes I do have an appointment. I'm here to see Addler vas Vacon."

"Name?" the secretary asked, her interest dull as her eyes were locked on her holoscreen, her fingers moving to input data. She didn't even bother looking up at Nigel and doubted this man actually had an appointment with Addler vas Vacon, but she asked anyway.

Nigel calmly strut up to the office of vaas Vacon, pretending to have more style than he did. As he walked up, smiling and tugging on the sides of his jacket, he couldn't help but think of the different things he could have done had he not been allowed through. A part of him was disappointed it had been so easy.

Nigel would not find the office of Addler vas Vacon as he wandered the halls. The Heart of the Council was dedicated to the members of the High Council, and military personnel, no matter their rank or importance, were not given their offices in civilian governmental offices.

"This is a large, E shaped building made of black metal and painted with gold tints. It is the home of Zarethian politics with anything concerning the empire politically happening here. The Council meets here everyday to discuss various political agendas, schemes and the like. They also approve new technology and drugs and hand out licenses for various things."

Luckily for Nigel Aliv, the high council met daily in the Heart of the Council. The most important man on that council would not be spending every second of his day conversating with the other members, and would have a room to stay in while there were no meetings going on. Luckily for Nigel again, he had been sent directly to this room by a bored secretary.

Not that he could open it. It was shielded by the a powerful shield generator, providing AP, AT and AM shields. The door was gene coded to several high ranking members of the Zarethians empire including the Council members. After all, they didn't want jut anybody coming in.
