Corvette - A small ship that can suit a family of 10 comfortably. It is armed with only 2 turbo lasers and only 2 torpedo tubes. It is built for comfort rather than for speed or fighting capability.

Assault Corvette - This is a corvette that has assault weaponry in the form of 10 turbo lasers and 10 missile launchers on it. They have a jump drive along with a hyperdrive.

I think these classes exist already. At least the corvette does...

Corvette is good. For assault corvette, I'm not sure if it is big enough to fit a hyperdrive and a jump drive.
