Alright, thanks everyone for your input. I am gonna take all the replies, and linked themes, and see what we can do to make almost everyone happy. If you do have any more comments, suggestions, or themes to link, feel free to keep it coming. I'll keep you guys updated on the theme progress.

Ok, let's start using this forum again, since user input is very important.
So, it's been brought to my attention that people don't seem to like our current default theme, The Killing. I would pick a different default theme from the already installed themes, like helios multi or whatever, but personally I don't like helios multi. My personal preference however, does not matter.
So I would like to know what theme you guys would like to use. we can either use a pre-installed one, such as The Killing, or helios multi, or we can choose a new one from http://custom.simplemachines.org/themes/
If you choose one from that url, make sure it supports smf 2.0, or we can't use it.
The reason I am bring this up is, I want to pick a theme that most of the members will like, and just stop maintaining 20 different themes. It makes no sense for any of us to have to go through and apply an edit to 20 different themes, everytime we install a modification. I'd like to find a theme that most of you like, and make that our main default theme.
So, let's get the discussion rolling. Remember if you find one on the theme website I linked above, please provide a link to the theme's page, so I can read about it, and obtain the files, and support url for that theme.
I think this will make implementing new features in the future faster, easier, less error prone, and all around more enjoyable. we also won't have to spend as much time troubleshooting, since everyone will be using the same tested base code.

Definitely not my end.
The db problem was not related to SMF

When the channel was registered, the owner was listed as Hikaru. Hikaru did not come on for a long time, so the system transfered channel ownership to the next in line, Jeebus. Jeebus did not come on for a long time, and thus the channel has no ownership now.

If one of you guys wants to come on, I can talk with you, and get this all fixed up.
Until then, the channel has no owner.

I am gonna apply a temporary hack to the webchat to fix the current issues, so in the next few minutes, that should be done. more permanent fixes are planned over the next few days.

triple post, sorry 'bout that.
We found the definite issue in a test environment. As a result we will be fixing it Today(Eastern) Sunday afternoon/evening Eastern Time. This means the webchat will go completely down during this time. when it comes back up, it will work perfectly, if all goes as planned.

Does this just apply to the webchat or to the IRC in general?

Just the webchat.
We have not fixed the issue, but we have made the issue less intrusive. The max time the throttle will stay in place is a minute, so if it gives you that message, go get some food, use the bathroom, and it should fix itself when you come back and try to connect.
We're looking into long term fixes, but it's kinda hard to fix the issue, when the developers blame it on you.

It seems like every week, I'm having to re-install this thing on another server.
I think we finally got everything stable.

There are a few other rules as well, that apply to the whole network. If you don't understand something in these rules, please don't hesitate to ask.
