The Elemental Fire made his way to the gouged and shredded aft of the ship. He knew he couldn't just get inside; a misstep and he'd end up impaled, after, all, so his channeled his magic to his hands and touched one of the sides of the spikes. Once his hand touched the metal, it began to glow red before oozing down and the edge losing its sharpness due to it melting. He tried to rip the metal off to throw it out of his way once it'd meted a bit, but despite its superheated, melting state the metal held firm to his pulling-clearly, the Tech Craft were strengthening their prowess with Metal at a exponential rate-and he knew it'd take too long to heat it enough for him to just pull it apart, so he chose instead to melt the jagged edges of the other shards away ad make it safer for him to enter. He did have to wait for the metal to cool when he was done, but only a little-the heat wouldn't hurt him, but he didn't want any of the molten metal to track onto him and cool while he was in the spaceship, which would effectively weld him to the floor until he melted himself free(which would no doubt cause OTHER problems once the interior of the ship began to melt or catch fire-much better to just wait enough time that its no longer a issue in the first place).
Once he was inside of the ship, he pressed his hand against a wall, then to the wall on the other side of the walkway-this time, instead of melting the ship, a line of cool, magic fire formed on both sides. The lines wouldn't burn anything he didn't want them to or spread beyond his whim, and he was using them to provide a more even source of light than the electrical fires by having them slowly burn their line along the ship's walls. It also served a second purpose, in that they remained where they'd already been burning, allowing him to know where he had and hadn't been in the labyrinth of halls and passageways on the inside of the ship. If he needed to find his way back, he could follow the flames backwards to his entrance, and he wouldn't start walking in circles because he'd know where he'd already been. As he went, he looked for anything that looked intact throughout the ship, whether or not it appeared to be of value-if anyone survived, they might want some of these things, and he didn't know what was or wasn't valuable to these Tech-Craft, so he might as well take anything he could carry.
Eventually, he made it to the sturdy blast door, sealing the cockpit out from his reach. He was about to go back when he realized, it didn't appear to be the metal Tech-Craft use for the hulls of their ships. Instead, it appeared to be...Whatdotheycallit, eh, plastine or something? Probably a hard one, but...Well, one f the few hings he knew about the Tech-Craft's products was that this plaster stuff burned and melted a lot easier than metal. He held out his right pointer finger, which had a very small flame at the end of it and quickly made three swipes across the blast door's surface, each in a different direction, causing the plastic to hiss, glow red, and pop along the triangle he formed. Then he took a step back, spun, jetted his right leg faster with a burst of flame, and smashed the center of the glowing triangle with the heel of his foot, which let loose a burst of fire just to send a bit MORE force through the kick to rip a triangular hole through the door and allow him through.
He entered the room, noticing the mess but for the most part used to it(most likely, the entire ship was like this to some degree or another, and he'd been through most of the place, soooo). The most important aspect was the man in the center of the room though, thus far, was the only survivor(unless ye say otherwise, of course, you didn't really detail more than the cockpit of the ship so eh) he found, encased in the metal suit. He made his way to the man, trying and failing to move his heavy, heavy form. He looked over the suit, trying to find some hatch or release so he could get the guy out of it, then noticed the button and examined the strange, runic glyphs on it. "...Im certain this would be immensely important if I knew how to read..." He muttered, as he looked around for something else intact that looked vaguely like it might be able to help.
