[Beware Ye Who Enter Here]

There wasnt a largely significant amount of damage done but there was damage nontheless. Part of the door was on fire and there were large scorch marks around where the thing had been.
"You're gonna have to pay for that..." The owner told him angrily.

The Zarethian Police came about fifteen minutes later and began to question people about the incident. All the witnesses pointed to Lucien/Carl/whatever.

An officer walked up to him. "Sir, why did you summon the creature?" he asked, taking out a note pad.

[Zero]

"Didn't. Something messed up. When I drew the symbol of a new form of magic, it messed up at the moment in time. As an unfortunate result of the situation, well you see the symbol changed into something to create that creature. And don't worry I'll pay you back.' He said looking at the owner.

The owner simply huffed. Being attacked by some magic demon will do that to you.

The police nodded and sketched some notes. "Any reason you were attempting this new form?" He asked.

[Zero]

"Let's see here. Interpol, various mercenaries and assassins, any survivors of the black guard coming after me. yeah that would pretty much give you a laundry list of reasons. Plus I needed some new magic after all. Best to be prepared if anything were to happen and my normal magic were cut off. " He held out his hand and silver light flashed in the room repairing it to pre-damage conditions.

The officer looked at him as if he was insane. "Magic is powerful stuff you cant just go around with it willy nilly! Stuff like this happens when you do that!"He said,  gesturing with his pencil to the now healed burn marks. "Well, either way. I'll let you off with a warning this time. Try not to do anything like that again."

[Zero]

Most certainly something like that would not happen again, at least in public. He would go into the forest or something and practice with his magical abilities and hone the new form he had gotten access. And now he had his own plan that he would implement later on. "Understood." With that, he looked at the owner. "Expect a large check deposited in your bank account within the next few hours."

And then he finished the rest of his food, before walking out of the building. Where was he headed? Out of the civilized areas and into a forest at the moment in time so that he could relax some, and learn more of this new form of written magic for himself.

"Crazy bastard..." The cafe owner muttered, righting some fallen chairs.
