Appearing in one of the fast food joints on the planet, Lucien Dolos decided he would buy some food for himself since he did after all need something to eat. Besides he had much to learn and his book was insisting he get a meal down him soon anyway. So as he entered the caf? Lucien would make his attempt to get some food. Reading the menu for a moment, he decided that he would eat it here and not teleport off world and eat some food first. It only seemed fitting at the moment in time that he eat here for some reason. Bake and Shake was the name of the Caf?, and it had a five star rating so he would eat here since it seemed to be popular.

Reading over the Menu, which was in Zarethian he uttered a sigh and used some of his magic to transform the words on the menu into basic, the normal language of the galaxy so that he could understand it of course. No need to bother with wasting his time about it after all and that is why he was fixing the problem of the language. Now all he needed to do was wait for the waiter or waitress, so that he could place his orders, as he would eat a lot today.

"What would you like, Sir?" a young waitress asked politely, ready to write down his order.

"What is in the Mi'scap soup?" He asked, having a hard time pronouncing the word. Now he would order some of the food for himself so that he could try some of the cuisine here.

"Me- scape soup, is how its pronounced and is a broth filled with me'scape, or a small green vegetable with a sweet tangy taste." She explained helpfully. They got a lot of non-Zarethians around here now.

"I'll try some, and a burrito." He said, waiting. "Also what drinks do you have?" asked Lucien as he held out his palm his galactic credit card appearing in his hands.

"La'con brew it is then. " said Lucien as he held out his card.

She took the card and swiped it. "I'll be back with your brew." She said. Five minutes later she came back with a brown caffeinated drink with a straw and some ice in it.

Sipping the drink Lucien tasted the flavor of the brew, and it helped to remind him of how his life had been going up until this point. Today he had major plans that he would have to enact while the iron was still hot since he had dropped all of the charges. Now he had a few schemes at the moment that could be enacted. "So what is in this brew?"

"La'con juice extract and carbonated water. One of the most popular drinks in the Zarethian Empire." The waitress said, bringing his food. The soup was a light yellow color with chopped up green vegitables with red inner lining in it. The burrito was six inches long piece of qi wrap filled with various meats, cheeses and sauces.

First he went after the burrito, eating it slowly and taking sips of the La'Con brew while he drank the beverage that had been prepared for his own comfort. Now he turned towards the soup after finishing off the burrito, and magicked up a spoon for himself which he used for himself. Taking a spoon full of the soup up to his mouth he put it into his mouth and took a taste of it at the moment in time. It tasted a bit spicy. "What is in the soup?"

"Its fried Mi'scap soaked in a broth. Its really simple to make. We added a few of our special herbs to heighten flavor." She answered.

Ordering 10 burritos, a pizza, a chicken alfredo, some sweet tea and also some fried alaska, Lucien waited for the new order to come out to him. "And make it to go. " he said, holding out his galactic credit card again.

"Sir, we do not serve... Chicken alfredo? Or Alaska..." The waitress said, said, taking down the notes for the other stuff.

"Very well then." said Lucien holding out his palm and a backpack full of survival equipment appeared near his chair, he would be leaving soon to one of their wildernesses on the planet. To test his survival skills. And he also cast a spell that would give the waitress information as to what fried alaska was so she would understand if anyone asked in the future.

"That sounds disgusting." She said. "Your order will be ready shortly." Or not, she thought. Thats a loooot of food.

"Trust me it isn't." He would wait for his food. And so he waited, checking the backpack to make sure the survival equipment he had bought was in top condition and what not.

"Here you go sir, " The waitress said, having three chefs carry the food for her. She scanned the card again.

Taking out a note pad Lucien began to draw a symbol on a sheet of paper and concentrate, sending his purpose into the symbol at the moment in time. The symbol this time was one of fire, which would allow him to create a fireball at a later time. Drawing the symbol on the paper he held out his hand and the piece of paper glowed, and then turned red. The symbol was now prepared, and he flipped the page drawing another symbol on it, this time not one for fire. But the symbol that he had drawn for fire glowed brighter than it normally should.

Noticing the glow surrounding his Kanji he held out his hand and tried to concentrate and form a barrier around himself that would shield them from whatever the mistake he had made would cause the Kanji that he had made to do at the moment in time. The symbol was messing up and it was the first time something like this would happen at the moment in time.

After the fire Kanji had been contained, he took the food and sat in on the table and began to eat at the moment in time to restore his energy. He needed more energy if he was to draw these symbols correctly and use them properly at the moment in time. Unfortunately there were problems with the Kanji that he would need to address at the moment in time.

"Something is going on." he said after the food was delivered.

The symbol for fire changed from a symbol of fire to that of a dark portal and out of it came a creature that would be classified as extremely ugly at the moment in time. The creature had armored black crystal on it at the moment in time. A sword was at the waist of the creature, and it looked quite ugly and had the insignia for fire on it. "Oh crap?.crap crap crap. Run!" A blast of scarlet flame came out of the hand of the fire monster aimed at Lucien, and then beams of fire from the eyes at the ones in the caf? besides him as well that would burn them alive at the moment in time.

Lucien ran for the sketch pad, only for a dark wall of fire to step into his way at the moment in time. His book took over and glowed blue. It began to search the information it had at the moment in time to see if it could find a symbol that would destroy this creature from the information it possessed. Failing to find one, the book then said in a deeper voice than that of Lucien. "Everyone out of here. I am going to cast a sub zero spell on this place."

The inhabitants and personnel of the poor, unfortunate cafe ran for their lives, fleeing out the door.

The door would be blocked by a wall of green flame that would stop all exit and burn alive anyone who tried to exit, along with causing them immense levels of physical and mental agony. Now they would have problems at the moment in time to get out of here. For even touching the fire would cause them to experience their worst nightmares. The creature was not a good creature, but quite evil as well and when Lucien regained his composure he decided that the Written Magic would have to be used that his book had told him about. But he had nothing to draw on at the moment in time. Now what could he do in the mean time that would allow him to defeat this creature?

After seeing the door blocked, minor mage made a portal and ushered everyone through it.

"Nightmare beam." said the creature, firing a beam at the portal before any could go through it, causing it to lead to a realm of nightmares.

Lucien stood up and his book's pages flipped rapidly as he rose off the ground. "From the power of the written word, to the power of the spoken speech, call forth the form that I desire. " At that blue light filled the room that negated the portal's alteration and took out the creature in one hit.

"Restaraunt clear." He went over to the chair at the table and sat down. He started to eat some of the food that had been prepared for him at the moment in time, while he would wait for an investigation so he could explain what exactly had happened at the moment in time.
