As the missiles were still intact, they continued to follow Jake, relentless and efficient in their flight paths. Meanwhile, Solae laughs as he reaches out for the fireball, taking command of its heat and swinging it around him like a ball-and-chain, smashing it right into the water golem. The earthquake did quite literally nothing besides shake the ground a bit, proving to be rather useless. "My my my, you really are getting foolish. Giving me a weapon to use against your own constructs!" He mocks, spinning back around with a small ball of revolving energy, whipping it at the earth construct with a good deal of force.
Seeing the world through a child's eyes is truly a unique experience. It helps you to retrieve that sense of awe, magic and wonder that you lost as you lost your innocence. Tell me, when was the last time that you thought of those childhood dreams? You know, the ones that you used to spend all your time wondering and fantasizing about? Have you forgotten them so easily? Have you forgotten what it felt like to see something for the first time, to see the magic in the mundane? Everyone says you should take the time to 'Stop and smell the roses'. But you should also take the time to look for the fairies, embrace the wind and enjoy the rain. Just once today, stop for a moment and look into that little piece of nature you pass everyday. Perhaps you may see something you did not notice before.

"I assure you it was quite intentional. " What Solae didn't know however was that the moment the fireball touched the Earth Construct a magical equivalent of Hiroshima would be released directed at him.

"Heh heh heh. " The water construct now steam was attempting to burn the skin of Solae.

"And now to end this. " Not giving anything away Jake shot out his own lightning which counteracted the intermissiles by colliding with them causing them to blow up if it hit them.

Unfortunately, as none of Solae's skin was exposed the steam could not burn him. With the blast, Solae was knocked away into the wall, the gel inside his armor hardening and protecting him from the impact even as the blast echoes about the battlefield. The construct-based shields and heat-sinks he'd used to protect himself from the meteor attack were still engaged, further protecting him against the radiative magic and the heat produced.

Unfortunately for Jake Ateris, a magical explosion of the Hiroshima nuclear bombing would take out the entirety of the arena, including himself. And, being so close to the explosion's epicenter unshielded, he had no chance. He was incinerated by his own attack.
