Biography:
Born on a world with beings that could absorb matter for short periods of time and mimic the attributes of said matter Arceis was a rarity, he could perform magic.
The ability to absorb was granted by the unique composition of the atmosphere of the planet and also by the predators activating fear in the populace causing them to learn of this ability.
When it was learned that Arceis had magic along with the ability to absorb the people decided they wanted to be rid of him. He was a danger to them as he could cast spells rendering them unable to absorb. As a result he willingly left his home world.
With him as with others of his race when they absorb plant life the spirits within the plant are released instead of converted. He eventually picked up the knowledge of languages that most empires use and decided to be the one who brought his people popularity once again.
Weapons: Bo Staff - A plain bo staff that he can restructure with his abilities into any weapon besides a gun should he need to restructure it.

A race of people that live on a planet with very hostile predators and lots of mineral deposits along with lots of trees and other types of materials. They culture wise are nomadic preferring to have no set home but rather to keep traveling until they find the perfect place for himself. They can absorb whatever substances they come in contact with and retain the attributes of said substance for an hour before they must re-absorb it. They also can't absorb spells either which puts them at a disadvantage but they can absorb materials that can resist magic. They can also absorb genetic material. They can absorb plant life but release the spirit once they absorb it. However they can't mimic the form of the genetic material absorbed but rather retain the abilities of the genetic material until the absorption must be redone. They can also restructure items with their abilities to be more useful such as they could turn a bo staff into say a spear.
