Homecoming, Part. II
« on: June 27, 2010, 11:05:11 PM »
A great portal opened on the surface of the Paxans beautiful wild planet. An Imbellis man passed through it. He walked several paces and surveyed the land. He was followed by a dozen people, three women, two children, and seven men, a mix of Imbellis and Bellicus. This process continued for a while, the portal stream clogged by the souls, but eventually, billions of Paxans, men, women, and children, appeared on the surface of Xap.

At the very end, was Benjamin south. Creature of fate. A man who united two separate races. A man who brought his species back from extinction. A man... Whose magical energy was crippled. The portal closed behind him, and he fell to his knees.

He was surrounded by six men, who lifted his tired body into the air. They respectfully stayed silent for their exhausted hero. He was placed in the woods to rest, guarded by the six men, who were some of the more powerful men of the races.

What followed, was the most joyous day of the planet Xap. For days they worshiped, and sang, and danced on their new planet, for their new lives. They ran, naked, free, alive, across the planets face.

Benjamin slept with a smile on his face.

The weeks had been busy. The 3 billion Paxans had split up and moved across their new planet. A sort of government as being established, with Benjamin at the top. The people, at least for now, were submitting to authority. Benjamin was charged with the rough task of getting his new planet into order. He needed money. The Paxans were powerful in magic, but not in the kind of magic that could create solid structures. Benjamin had cast aside his battered SPLITTER gloves, and was deep in thought. Should he pay someone to help supply his planet? Or hire a powerful mage?

One of the Warrior Human women walked towards where Benjamin lived and knocked gently and timidly on the door. She had to report in what had currently happened namely that 5 more children had been born and so it would take even longer now. She also knew that more food and supplies were needed and knew of a powerful mage that might help them for the right price of course. Knocking timidly she waited.

The door opened without Benjamin even turning around. "Come closer." He said. It was more like a demand than a request.

Scared of him slightly she walked closer holding a parchment that contained a list of all the things that were currently happening where they were allowed by his grace to live.

"Some of the kids have chicken pox. Also we are out of food.  Plus there isn't any medicine on this planet to help with it. Do you mind if I make a suggestion?"

Benjamin turned around lightning fast and gripped the woman by the hair, pulling hard. The door slammed suddenly behind her. He spun her around by the hair and threw her into the wall. You will answer my questions, or you will suffer severe consequences. Benjamin was using the voice he used to screa mat Lucifer, except not as loud.

“What questions could you have for a lowly one such as myself?” The woman was quivering in fright but not yet hysterical. She did not wish to resist him so she let him do as he wished to her in hopes he would not harm the children.

“What are your questions my lord?”

"You're plotting against me. Against all of my people." Benjamin stated. The way he said it, made it seem more like a fact he said out loud, more than a question.

"No Sir. I am training the children but not teaching them how to fight. We are not plotting against you but rather plotting for you. We have looked at your people and determined that you need a mage to assist you and have come up with a list of possible canidates. "

Benjamin was about to raise his voice again, but stopped abruptly, looking up. "Someone's here." He grabbed her arm and pulled her behind him.

"Who could it be?" She got behind him rather nervously and clenched the pendant her husband had given her for her last wedding anniversary as she watched.
