OOC: He could be on the other side of the galaxy, in this case, as Dom Magic is space-based as well as soul-based. Though some portal would probably need to be opened somewhere within the area of the planet for like.. a split second, before closing.

Detecting the odd energy, the Lorcar didn't like it much. They focused their Psychic energy, crafting a energy of the opposite Wavelength, which then was applied to this new energy, canceling it out. Much like applying acids and bases of the same strength, or something.

But Dom Magic surged ontop of the new energy quickly, before it could be canceled out, exploding on top of the energy before reproducing more of itself and spreading over the planet quicker.

Except they never stopped. With their Queen there, and the Brood King, the two most powerful Psykers in the current galaxy, they easily met the rushing magic with the counter-energy, negating it from doing anything at all. They could keep it up all month, if they had to, by themselves. And that said nothing of the other Psykers there...

As for the poison, it is biological in nature, and indeed toxic to breath. It kills extremely quickly, except for Lorcar.
