Zumi Allison
« on: July 07, 2010, 10:58:54 PM »
Name: Zumi Allison
Age: Appearance is 18, her original age is unknown.
Race: Sage/Nightmare/suicidium
Alliance: None.
Biography:

Zumi lived until she was about the age of 18, almost nineteen, and living through hell. Throughout her life she was picked on and bullied, with condoms shoved in her locker, notes written and taped to her desk or slid inside her locker, and pretty much all of the typical high school crap.

Why was she picked on? Because she was a social outcast, she was different. She found herself studying the paranormal, even talking to them. At some point she created voodoo. Even if it was for fun when she was little, Zumi always had an affinity for magic. She didn't really know of it until she was turning 18, and after she was 18 and discovered what she had, she used it.

But of course, it was during the 21st century, thus she was considered a freak and everyone in her small, hick town of Missouri (the States), considered her a freak, laughed at her, and humiliated her every chance she was in public. The only ones who didn't were her beautiful family and the very rare close friend, but none stayed as long when they realized she was a witch.

With each humiliating public display caused Zumi to be pushed even closer to the edge, Zumi began to think suicidal and depressing thoughts. With each comment about her “freakyness” and such, Zumi began to dress in very morose clothing, heading to stores such as Hot Topic and Spencer's. Sometimes she'd even snag clothes from a charity store, normally the vintage clothes. She was made fun of even for this, sometimes even if she dressed in the clothes many of her tormentors wore.

It didn't help whatsoever that her family were starting to leave her, one by one, especially now that she was an actual adult, just finishing her final year of high school. Once every single person left her, except her grandma who knew this was going to happen, Zumi killed herself.

I'm sure you knew that judging by her emotions, but yes, she killed herself. Clean and simple. She sliced her throat, but not before she began to make cuts along her body, making more and more holes for her blood to pour out. Like an idiot that she was, she decided to use feathers from a down blanket, cutting the blanket apart and dancing in the feathers before collapsing.

But there was something about the way she was made, the chemicals that made up her brain and allowed her to have an affinity for magic. These combined allowed her to rise back from the dead.

This explains why Zumi is present now, wandering through the worlds of today, her black hair a shocking contrast to her gray, pale skin. She can manipulate any and all of the elements along with darkness, shadows, and light. Anything is under her control, anything that can be controlled or manipulated with magic, anyways.

Zumi is one of the first to be considered a Nightmare.

A Nightmare is someone that dies because they either killed themselves or because they were murdered. Since one of the main reasons why Zumi came back, aside for her magic (which was just a plus, really), was because she killed herself because of what happened to her – being a bully because of her magic. Nightmares are brought back to take revenge on people. However, when they are brought back they can either take revenge, ignore the words on their skin and live a new, however undead, life, or simply choose to die and go where they are meant to go. If they take revenge and everything is taken care of, they can either die or keep living, however an undead life.

Either way, a Nightmare, under any circumstances, will never, ever, come back to a normal life. They will remain undead or they can go and die like they were meant to be.

“Nightmare” comes from the fact that those who pick on people and bully them would never enjoy the fact that what they say is plastered all over someone who took their own life's body. Sometimes, murderers don't want to admit they killed someone, or if they did they wouldn't want said victim to be walking about, undead.

Weapons: None. She'll use whatever.
Equipment: None.
Magic Level: 5

Approved.
Seeing the world through a child's eyes is truly a unique experience. It helps you to retrieve that sense of awe, magic and wonder that you lost as you lost your innocence. Tell me, when was the last time that you thought of those childhood dreams? You know, the ones that you used to spend all your time wondering and fantasizing about? Have you forgotten them so easily? Have you forgotten what it felt like to see something for the first time, to see the magic in the mundane? Everyone says you should take the time to 'Stop and smell the roses'. But you should also take the time to look for the fairies, embrace the wind and enjoy the rain. Just once today, stop for a moment and look into that little piece of nature you pass everyday. Perhaps you may see something you did not notice before.
