Veldorian Entrance
« on: July 15, 2010, 02:46:36 PM »
“Sir the ship can't hold much longer under these conditions.” said a technician who rushed to where the leader of the Veldorian Empire was, namely Verrizian Veldor. The guy looked like he had ran nearly 100 miles.

Verrizian uttered some obscenities. “Get a crew out there to fix it. Turn off the hyperdrives as well. Ready our military for surface deployment. And someone get me my coffee.”

Obediantly the soldiers on deck ran to do as their master had bid. They did not want to see him angry and so they would do as he wanted. After all what harm could there be in humoring him?

Verrizian said to the remaining soldiers “Go forth. See if the planet below is hostile. Take a dozen plasma pods each and a few rifles and carbines from our arsenal. Also take some melee weapons and remember to absorb a sample of their energy. We need more data so possibly that could be useful for us.”

The remaining soldiers left the deck to the room where the magical teleportation stones had been stored and each grabbed one before using them to go to the planet below. They alredy were armed. Descending to the planet in a bubble of magical energy the soldiers were waiting.

OOC: Japae's a pocket dimension, which you get to by going through a black hole portal.

The guard of Japae's gate called out to the arrivals.

"State your purpose!"

The Veldorians that had landed did not understand the language of Japae. They did not understand the language. Looking at each other they gave a look like what language is that and how do we handle that?

From the expression of the guy they ascertained that the guard wanted to know why they were there and so they formed magic into letters in the sky in their language telling him that they were here on a scouting mission.

After a bit of translating, the Japae Guard nodded. "What... what are you in need of?"

Concentrating on a pleasing reply the soldiers decided that the truth would be best. The soldiers examined the guard for a few moments looking more specifically at his weapons.

“Mind if we land our ship? It is best if our leader talks to you himself.”they said in their own language once more. They had a lot to learn about languages in this dimension apparently, the only one that they knew was Mechera.
