Twelve enormous cities stood on the beautiful surface of Xap. There was still much unexplored and wild territory, but the cities would be enough to shelter the race and to get them organized. From the Fleet of Particular Justice, a message was transmitted through their intercoms, played loud enough over the cities that everybody could hear.
"Bellicus. Imbellis. After we have fought so long, we finally can put our difference aside, and stand as United Paxans! These last weeks have taught us much. But one thing I think we can all agree on, is that Technology must become a more crucial part of our lives. In the days before, we learned the creed, "Werk voor de overheid, voor de beste natie." Today, I teach you a new creed for a new government. No longer are we an empire. No longer will we be slaves to a single leader. Today, I teach a new creed. One of independence. From this day forward, you wll follow the creed, of, "Create! Waarnemen! Herkent!"
A chrous of cheers erupted from the surface of the planet. Three million Paxans were finally united. They returned the chant, "Create! Waarnemen! Herkent!" (Which translates to Create! Cognize! Recognize!) For centuries, there was the constant rumor of something called a Republic, a form of democracy the independent Paxans yearned for, but never thought achievable. Finally, it was being given to them. The Paxans were free. Helft sixteen would forever be there independence day.
Given homes and given resources, the Paxans scrambled to make their ideas a reality, and seperate themselves from the government, to become independent.
