Fate's Throne. One of the most unique and marvelous buildings on Xap, if not the galaxy. It consists of ten floors. Most skyscrapers are uniform all the way up in size. But Fate's Throne has rooms jutting out the sides of the building, of differing angles and building styles. It has the appearance of some monument or sculpture, but it is, in fact, a perfectly habitable building. It also gives the appearance of being scattered, chaotic, imbalanced, like it would collapse at any second. However, the differing rooms balances the whole building out, making it perfectly level and secure. (This was made as an analogy to the new United Paxans, something that seems chaotic and unusual, but is, in fact, in perfect harmony, or balance.) Each floor has a drastically different genre, feel, decor and color scheme. Eight of the floor have dance floors, and each floor is completely sound proof to the outside world, so you can't hear the loud music of the floor above or below you. Strict AM, AP, and AT generators make sure no magic can be performed by rowdy customers, and that no one can open a portal or teleport in to evade the entrance fee. Special belt clips can be given to special customers (such as those staying on the 9th floor) and carried by all the staff that negates this effect. Even with the building being as fancy as it is, the prices are shockingly affordable. It's only a small fee of 10 credits to enter the building, and that gives you free access to all the floors (Except the 9th, and most areas on the first.) The club boasts one of the largest collections of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in the world, and yet the prices for those to, are kept cheap. This strategy of affordable entertainment ensures that the club is packed to maximum legal capacity (1000 for most floors) almost every night. The description of floors is as follows,
Floor I: A tastefully decorated foyer with classical music in the backround. No dance floor, this is mostly the business area, although there is a small lounge area for customers preparing to go up or go home. This is the area where the office, kitchen, security room (which houses vault, AP AT AM generators, and the extensive and expensive beverage collection), and other such staff quarters are held, as well as the many fast elevators that lead the customers up the floors.
Floor II "Kilte": The main dance floor is on top of a huge fish tank with sharks swimming. Some of the smaller dance floors feature this too, but Fish tanks are every where, with all manner of exotic aquatic creatures in them. The entire floor has a digital-transparent theme to it, and the every light on the floor, including the ones in the fish tanks, changes color at the same time. The music played on this floor is very laid back and soothing, from emo acoustic sets, to soothing trance beats, and gentle jazz artists.
Floor III "Aarde":With real grass, gardens, and flowers, there is no dance floor, just a stage for bluegrass, hippie, and ethnic music bands to play.
Floor IV "Metaal": A floor with almost industrial theme of chrome, there is a small bar and rest area, but it's mostly dominated by a large stage and massive moshpit where metal music, and all it's variants, are played, a long with punk, and any hard rock.
Floor V "Glowstick Knooppunt": A raver's paradise. It either has a black light, or no lights. The entire Room, dancefloors, bar, all furniture in the room is outlined with glow in the dark material, And the dance floor and stage is fitted with ridiculous amounts of lights and effects. Harmless drops turn the drinks glow in the dark, as well, and glow sticks are carried in the merch shop. Electronica of all kinds is played here.
Floor VI "De Alley": A place of urban theme where hip-hop and rap fans flock to. Any artist performing here is required to leave behind a graffiti signature on the wall.
Floor VII "De Bibliotheek": A soothing cafe/bookshop where poets flock to perform on open mic nights.
Floor VIII "Koppels Alleen": A smooth, old fashioned dance floor for couples who want to dance to classic swing, jazz, tango tunes.
Floor IX: The floor where fancy but impersonal hotel rooms can be found, in addition to an expanded lounge. Mr. Nova's personal room is located here, where he sleeps occasionally.
Floor X "The Throne": The most famous part of the club, and it's namesake. At the tippy top of the club is the Dome. It's a glass dome. Right underneath the dome is a huge dance floor surrounded by excessive lights, and a large stage. The dome contains holo technology, and makes an unforgettable light show in the heat ofthe music. It can also retract and sink down for those nights when the dancers want an under-the-stars dancing experience. It is exclusively for live performers, no recorded music is played here, which means the genre varies, although techno DJs are favored.
