The Summoner frowned as the entities came close. He slammed his spear into the floor and five portal opened around him. His voice turned strange, an echoing whisper. He chanted strange words. Out of the portals came five... Creatures. The had dark, and soft skin. They had a slim, but strong build. Their arms were long and flexible, with five vicious and sharp looking claws on the end. They had four very large eyes on all sides of their head. They had large mouths that had been sewn shut. They looked ready to a take a lunge at the creatures coming up on their master, as the portals closed, but a sharp, echoing whisper from the Summoner stopped them short. They formed a circle around him, guarding him loyally.

"Didn't your mother ever tell you to find out someone's story before you attempt to attack them?" He was calm, at ease. But he seemed ready to defend himself if need be.

"What mother?" Vincent questioned as the undead attacked, swinging their sharped bone talons and and attacking with old and worn weapons. He didn't really care about the man's story, he just wanted him out of the place.

Feeling the sense of conflict and confrontation, Zumi scooted back away from Vincent, eyeing the intruder skeptically before she scooted closed enough to the window to leap out of it. Yes, she was a strong person, and yes Zumi could probably do some pretty decent damage to anyone that tried to harm her, or Vincent for that matter, but she wasn't one to use her powers unless she controlled it and quite frankly Zumi didn't want that right now, especially what happened last time.

A sudden roll of anger flowed through her at the memory as she jumped for the window; her body seemed to transform, still gray and undead, but now that of a leopard, though instead of brown eyes they were her typical acid green. Surrounding her feet was fire, creating ringlets of flames to dance around her paws and emanate from the tip of her tail. With a loud cry of anger, Zumi hissed at the intruder just as she escaped out the window.

Sprinting, Zumi navigated her way through the barren planet, literally, before she slowed down, having gone a good distance away from the tower. Transforming back into her undead Nightmare state, Zumi was sitting cross legged and eyeing the tower where she ran from, searching for anything that was different. Of course, from what she could see, there wasn't other than the plethora amount of undead soldiers that Vincent had summoned when she was still present in that cozy little room...

Sighing, Zumi rested her face on her small, thin hands and watched the tower, thinking about what had happened. Surprisingly, her heart was still beating and she was extremely happy for that. One thing she wasn't really happy for was the animal instincts she had that still seemed to linger, the hormones that were so dormant came back twice as strong and ten times more powerful. If she was dead, then chances are Zumi shouldn't have had those feelings, but now that she seemed to get them back she had thoughts: Vincent wasn't entirely undead, and if her heart started to beat, then possibly other things would start to function and she was be sort-of human, like him. That's what scared her, because what if Vincent didn't want that and she was the only one? Which was usually the typical thing for relationships...or was this a relationship? Zumi didn't know and quite frankly she wasn't about to ask, either.

Shifting around a little bit, Zumi placed a hand on the dusty, dirty, empty, dead gravel and concentrated. When she opened her eyes, a rose bush had grown and a luscious, crimson red, the color of the blood, bud started to grow in front of her, leaning towards her face. A small smile appeared on Zumi's face she she gently touched the rose, concentrating on it while the other buds began to bloom, though a softer, toned down red.

(God my grammar sucks today.)

The calm expression disappeared. Replaced by one of pure rage. "Jaha!" He cried, his voice echoing with eerie amplification. Who the hell did he think he was? Didn't he KNOW what he had just gone through? DIDN'T HE CARE? People like him didn't belong in this world. He was the kind of person who killed others merely because they were an inconvenience.

With great relish, the five creatures guarding him unleashed their abilities, spinning and flipping and tearing to shreds the zombie army with their sharper-than-razor claws. They pushed out slowly, but in a frenzy. They were experts at their job.

Suddenly, Zumi felt panicked, had a tugging feeling in her stomach and her heart was racing, even when she wasn't doing anything. Just as quick;y as she ran away, Zumi headed back towards the tower, her eyes bright and alert with a flames coming from them as she sprinted, faster than the speed of light. Without even hesitating, Zumi lifted a leg onto the base of the tower, using it as a base as she catapulted herself into the air. Before she could go too far away and fall back to the ground, Zumi swung her food fast enough to break the sound barrier as she was thrusted towards the tower. Without missing a beat she rolled, colliding into the ground before tumbling towards the Summoner.

Before she could even hit the man, before she even had a chance to do so, she flickered away, appearing on the other side of him, on her feet, fists raised and anger flaring from her eyes. "Don't you dare." she said, calmly, smoothly, though her voice seemed to boom and become louder than what one would think was possible coming from someone so petite. "Lay a hand on him and I'll cut you into infinitesimal pieces where you stand."

The girl was fast, almost too fast to catch. But even though her speed was commendable, the Summoner's servants had the perk of fast reflexes. Half way through her sentence, four appeared in front of him, guarding him, and one lurched for her, trying to wrap it's long, flexible arms around her. The Summoner braced the Hell Lance for a fight, the bronze beauty shining with enchantment. The Summoner seemed to regain his composure, if only a little. "Girl," he said, his voice small, quavering, "You've no idea what I've gone through. He started this conflict." After saying it, he regretted it. It made him sound immature. He was tense, but his temper was wearing down, but still, he desperately clung to it, for he knew that when he calmed down, reality would come rushing in...

Zumi flinched away from the creature, having no idea what it would do if it managed to touch her skin. Instinctively, she brought a hand to block any touch from the creature and in turn a bright light flared like a blade from her arm, creating a mystical, glassy shield from her skin. The force of the impact from the guardian cause Zumi to slide back ever so slightly, but her strength kicked in and she stopped after a foot.

Glaring, Zumi's eyes reduced to slits as she looked at the Summoner. "So? Do you think that gave you a right to come here?" she asked, her voice rising and falling, her anger shaking the air around her and stirring it with the heat fro, her emotions and the rage behind her words. Biting back a stream of profanities, Zumi continued to look at the intruder with malice. "You guys exchange the way manners work but yet you're the one that came here first, without knocking." Zumi added the last bit with a hint of sarcasm, though everything else that was going to follow was literally causing venom to drip. From her eyes and mouth.

Wiping away the liquid, Zumi quickly swiped her hand across the thing that had advanced on her, and without waiting she stood on her tiptoes and danced away from it, going around the side and directing a nicely positioned kick towards the back of it.

The summoned creature cringed. It turned, fast on it's feet, malice reflected in it's body language at as it takes a long swipe at her before the Summoner can say otherwise.  Mid-swipe, the Summoner cries "Hiel!" but it was past the point of no return, it's long claws were on a collision course with the girl. The creatures split off and made a circle, protecting him from all sides.

Zumi backed her face away, her eyes staying trained on the creature's face, even when she grabbed hold of its claws and gripped them tightly, clenching them in her vice-like grip of steel. "Don't you know not to hit a lady?" she asked, her head cocking her head to the side like a bird, her lips turned into a sneer and her eyes reflecting the malice, along with amusement. Suddenly, everything about what Zumi did was like that of a psychotic serial killer, with the way her eyes sparkled and gleamed and her soft pink lips pulled back over her teeth in a very seductive, but dangerous, way.

Blocking off the attack, Zumi backed away slightly, hopping on her feet and always remaining on her toes. She had a very cat-like gait with the way she stood on her toes and the way her body seemed to curve in the most unnatural way. Advancing, slowly though, Zumi turned her head to the other side and stuck a finger in her mouth, her eyes flashing with hunger for death. In hesitation she wiped the venom from the edge of her lips and stuck the finger in her mouth, her lips curling up at the side maliciously.

"Wanna play?" she asked in a mocking tone as she pulled her finger out. Surrounding her body was a dark aura, twirling around her wrists and ankles and winding around her waste and torso, seeming to lay there delicately and hang there as if suspended from a thing wire; living shadows. Very faintly, you could hear the screams and moans and whines from the undead, mainly from those that taunted her so many years ago.

The summoning art is the act of opening portals in other dimensional planes, and using the right incantations to take over their mind. Some Summoners have the gift of commanding sentient creatures found in regular planes, but that is a difficult and unrewarding process. The Summoner faced now specialized in the Hell planes. Lucifer had many, many types of demons and other warped spirits laying in agony in an inescapable plane. The Summoner offered them an escape, a purpose, and a chance (though rarely granted) to freedom. Because of this, the creatures were fiercely loyal to their master, the dark, heartbroken Summoner...

The chance at peace was gone. The creature had one arm free, and proceeded to jab multiple times at the abdomen of Zumi. She had given it an easy opening. With new confrontation realized, the Summoner started his echoing whisper chants, bringing new creatures from other dimensions to do his bidding.

Zumi buckled over, though she wasn't entirely harmed; instead, she could feel small bruises forming along her abdomen, along her gray, undead skin. However, to prevent from any actual damage there was the shadows, the screams of agony, that blocked every time the creature attempted to make a hit. Bending over, Zumi looked up from her pink bangs and smirked evilly before she used her other hand to jab right in the belly button, which she knew was a chakra center. In the same movement, she released the clawed hand and thrusted a fist right towards the throat of the undead being; there were seven chakras and two of them were already being attacked - the sacral chakra, one of desire and jealousy, if these creatures were to feel anyway, and the throat chakra, where honesty was clearly being displayed at. Zumi could see each and every one of these colored spots with her undead eyes, along with the pressure points that were located in Vincent and the Summoner.

Seeing as there were seven, Zumi had enough time to wait and see which one was a perfect land and which one was a dud. They were undead beings, like her, but they were capable of feeling, seeing as they were loyal to the cloaked man. Even if they were dead they had the sense of loyal and honor. Unlike her, however, they were pure monsters, created and sent to hell, much like the Raven Mockers myth.

The creature fought against the stitches in it's mouth, trying to scream, but they did not budge. Fighting back pain, it continued to stab at her with it's sharp claws, one brown eye staring at her intently. Two unstable yellow portals appeared, and out came two distinctly different creature.

One of them was a Minotaur. It had the legs and hooves of a bull, the sinewy chest and arms of a man, and big bull head with horns. It snorted defiantly, trying to buck the Summoner's control, but a few sharp words and it calmed down, focusing on Zumi. The other was called a Umaeet, a vile, black and purple spotted creature. It was short but sturdy, and it stood on four legs. The details of this race are best not to explain, but it has a wide mouth that shoots explosive eggs at high speeds. It gave a whistle and settled into a battle pose.

Zumi's departed tormentors kept blocking repeatedly, managing to lower the bruise damage that the claws were causing. Zumi whispered something too low for anyone to hear and the souls started to spread out further, creating something similar to a peacock tail, just demented and horrifying. Zumi smirked at the creature, the way it wanted to scream but couldn't, as she went to place another blow to the throat while the souls started to wrap themselves slowly around its wrist, but not retracting enough to tighten and grab hold.

The Minotaur that Zumi had watched appear in her peripheral vision was terrifying, but she knew enough about Greek mythology to know how to take down a Minotaur. As for the second thing that appeared, she had no idea how to deal with that just yet. Quickly, Zumi backed away and allowed the tormentors to grab hold of the creature she was currently in combat with, or at least try to anyway. She remained on her toes, making sure not to step down fully and slow herself down as she danced around the room in a gypsy like ritual.

Vincent watched all that unfolded around him with relative curiosity, or at least he appeared only slightly curious but in fact he was very worried about Zumi. He couldn't explain it but it would devastate him if she were somehow killed in this fight, and that's why he wasn't going to let it go on this way. Raising his right hand as Black Smoke began to seep out of the seep out from under his fingernails he gave off the look of malicious intent. If he could corrupt that man's creature's they would be as good as his, but he wasn't going to just corrupt them. He was going to decay them, if they were to be hit by this torrent they would be reduced to nothing but dust.

"Zumi, it's alright, but I really suggest that you," The Black Smoke was being condensed into a solid black orb, there would be enough here to kill half a planet by the time he was ready to fire. "Get out of the way." He warned, the orb started to grow and change looking very unstable.

Zumi instantly stopped moving around, freezing when she saw the dark matter in Vincent's hands. Everything disappeared from her eyes, the malice, the curiosity, and the intent to torture. Returning to her normal state, Zumi quickly skipped backwards and ducked behind Vincent, her cat-like walk seeming to disappear without a trace; the shadows screamed a farewell before disappearing as well, their voice still ringing through out the room in very shrill octaves. Watching closely, Zumi focused on Vincent as he got ready to fight the Summoner.

The Umaeet began spitting eggs at high speeds towards Vincent, trying to break it's focus. The Summoner let Zumi pass, Before and echoing whisper sent the Minotaur towards Zumi.

Zumi glared at the Minotaur, her eyes slits as she danced out of the way. "Wow, such a gentleman!" she yelled towards the Summoner, her voice making the room shake. The sarcasm dripped from her words before she danced backwards, placing small orbs that seemed to manifest from her hands as she jumped away backwards. Each orb was a different color with different elements encased in them. With a smirk on her face, Zumi whispered something again, her eyes alight with anger as she snapped her fingers.

Clenching his fists as the black orb erupted into a massive torrent of the corrupting and highly lethal black smoke Vincent was grinning a maniacal grin. It smashed into everything in front of him, the summoned creatures that weren't fast enough to get out of the way were reduced to nothing but dust within moments, however when it reached the summoner himself it seemed to wrap around him, forming some sort of cage. "Give me a reason..to let you live." Vincent called out.

Zumi went back behind Vincent, keeping her eyes trained on the Summoner as she stood straight, her eyes focusing entirely on the intruder. Everything else around he was completely forgotten, or at least pushed into the recesses of her mind. Right now, her main focus was to destroy the enemy, or at least get him to leave the tower, and that was the only thing she was going to focus on, including everything else that followed. Even if it wasn't her fight, it included her because she was in the room and the Summoner was sending his minions after her as well.

The Summoner stared at the smoke ready to envelop him. He was... Impressed. And clearly, defeated. He flipped back his hood, which had come back on in combat, and nodded at him. "Because... I'm not through here yet." Lightning fast, the floor underneath him gave way to a portal, and he sunk through before the cage could close in around him.

Within a moment all the black smoke stopped, just stopped as Vincent stood there with an odd look on his face as he turned and looked at the back of his hand. "We need to go.. Now." He murmured as he grabbed Zumi's arm rather roughly, teleporting away within an instant. The Black Smoke lingered however, slowly being absorbed into the tower itself.. There was a reason it was so black after all, it was solidified smoke.

Zumi couldn't even begin to make an argument back at Vincent and she had to bite her lip back as Vincent's demi-god strength left dark purple prints on her arm. She was undead, sure, but that didn't mean she couldn't bruise. However, before they left, she whispered a word in a weird language and the orbs she dropped in the room began to glow, shaking and vibrating, before exploding with multiple elements expanding from the small, glass objects.
