So to clarify some things that happened in RP recently, and tie up a few questions about Spirits, Spirit Energy, and the Revelations Book.
Spirits and Spirit Energy
As we all know, a Spirit is what you are, your consciousness/being/essence, whatever the hell you want to call it. Spirit energy is what makes your Spirit up. You can use some of your Spirit Energy, but it's basically your life force (without using that term,) and when you use it, you use your life/existence up. But you can use it to the last amount, and still be alive. Because as long as there's at least SOME of the SE left, your consciousness is tied to it. But usage will make you weak.
You can use others SE, if you somehow steal their spirits. But that would mean you took their life, and kept it. You would have to do this before the spirit got judged. Such as capture it, keep it in a bottle, or something. You can also add their spirit to your own. But by doing this, you'd add their memories, and their being to your own, as well. They'd become a part of you. And unless your Orph's character, that might be...dangerous.
If you seal part of your spirit into something, such as the case of the Revelation's Spell Book. Then if the part of your spirit you still have left gets used up. Your consciousness would be drawn to the part that still exists, as that's all of you left. But you would still be alive and sealed with the item its self until someone releases you.
Bottom line? Do not use your Spirit Energy completely up. It will still exist, as it's energy. But your consciousness tied to it, will not. You will just be pure, non-living energy.
Revelation Magic
Origin: Unknown for now. But it has existed for a long long long long long time. The first usage known of it, was when the Keepers of Erebus adapted it to use to seal Koty. But they didn't create it.
Where to Find: Unobtainable. It was originally inside a book. Not just any spell book where as long as you have the magic you can cast the spells. No, this was the opposite, as long as you had the book you could use the magic. Without the book, you couldn't access it (there being only two exceptions; Koty because of his seal, and Rev for being made of the magic its self.) As of now, there are only two beings that can obtain it. That being Hikaru and Rev. The book no longer exists.
Price to Use: Before the book was destroyed, the price to use it was costly. Only those that sealed half of their spirit into the book could even open it. If they didn't and opened it anyways, the pages were blank. Except for the first page, which stated the rules on sealing.
Once the book had a holder, someone that had sealed their spirit. No one else could use the magic, until they killed the current owner and had sealed their own spirit within it. If they successfully killed the current owner and the owner had the book on them at the time. The book would consume the rest of that owners spirit into it and grow stronger, as well as the magic in it. Thus the magic fed on spirits. But not many knew that last part until it was too late.
Someone else could read the book, but only if the holder physically handed it to them and allowed them permission. However, they still would not be able to use the magic within it. ONLY, the holder. If they tried, the spells would do nothing, as if they muttered gibberish.
Further Info: The Revelation Magic, was a magic to rival even that of Genesis Magic, and maybe the Embodiments themselves. In fact, it seemed to be the exact opposite of Genesis, why this was? No one really knows, as its origins are shrouded in mystery.
Its first usage was by the Keepers of Erebus. And then later, the most known user up to date, Hikaru. She obtained knowledge of the book from another book she had stolen from her brothers. The book she had taken was mostly useless, but it contained a page on an even greater power, one to rival any other. To say the least, It was a wasted trip to the Sage Dimension and back, and in the end wound her right back to the Outerverse. Apparently THAT was the great power is spoke of.
Feeling cheated, she didn't realize at first that it was an area of the Outerverse she hadn't been to. The center in fact. Locked in tons of spells and traps, the Spell Book was in the very center of the dimension.
Then at one point when testing spells of the book over the years, enough magic accumulated in one spot and created the Incarnation of Revelations Magic, Rev.
Other than him, thanks to certain events. Hikaru is the last, and now final user of the magic.
As in desperation, she pulled her spirit out of it, thus no longer having access. BUT, swallowed it. When it 'digested,' the magic in the book, and all the spirits as well, became apart of her, effectively making her the book and source of the magic its self. Therefore the only TRUE full user of Revelation and making it to where it'll only pass through inheritance and spell to unlock it, ironically, just like that of it's rival, Genesis Magic.
Due to the mass amount of spirits/spirit energy and Revelation Magic its self in the book. When put under an AM Field, the magic, in order to survive, encased its self in the spirit energy of the spirits. This created a layer of spirit energy around the Revelation magic, and let it exist in the AM Field, making the Field useless.
The magic powers the spirit energy, and the spirit energy, in turn protects the magic. Because energy cannot be created or destroyed, this keeps the spirit energy unlimited, as the magic keeps it where it is. And keeps the magic from fading out. Thus, it has created a perfect technique to exist within an AM Field.
