Second Planet Poll (Official)
« on: July 19, 2010, 06:27:27 PM »
Note: You can change your vote if you wish.

This is more of an official poll to see what we should do, as the other poll was a tie and some people may wish to change their votes now that they've debated it with other members.

In a way we need both, if we just make new territories that can be taken over, they WILL be taken over, I suggest one that like Magimeta, is naturally protected, or at least incredibly hard to take over.
The world is a mess..and I just need to..rule it.

Agreed. But I also don't think the easier ones should be treated as if they're not inhabited. Most inhabitable planets would have indigenous creatures. So, I say we do create both takeover planets and stuff like Magimeta. Just walking over to a planet, stabbing a flag into the ground and yelling out "MINE NOW HA HAHA HAHA HA!" is boring.

Of course, these will have to be NPC'd by someone.
Seeing the world through a child's eyes is truly a unique experience. It helps you to retrieve that sense of awe, magic and wonder that you lost as you lost your innocence. Tell me, when was the last time that you thought of those childhood dreams? You know, the ones that you used to spend all your time wondering and fantasizing about? Have you forgotten them so easily? Have you forgotten what it felt like to see something for the first time, to see the magic in the mundane? Everyone says you should take the time to 'Stop and smell the roses'. But you should also take the time to look for the fairies, embrace the wind and enjoy the rain. Just once today, stop for a moment and look into that little piece of nature you pass everyday. Perhaps you may see something you did not notice before.

I'm totally fine with NPCing stuff, I'm one of the best generals and I like challenges. 8D

You'd have to intentionally hold back, since a standalone culture like that probably wouldn't even have space travel adequately mastered yet.

I'd be fine with doing so as well. A bit of variety in RP styles would do well, since there's more than just adapting to one. XP
Plus, it'll be fun to NPC the defenders, and Im aaaaall for fun. XD

I say any of the staff can NPC it. But like approvals, if a staff member is taking it over, another staff NPCs it.

I like Magimeta being the only one that can't be taken over. For territories that can be taken over, and it NPC'ed, sure.

Add new territories that can be taken over then add others which can't. Best of both worlds.
There is only so much pain that can be taken before the bonds and chains of sanity are forsaken
It is in these lonesome times that we reach towards the light sublime
And from that light we pull the resolution of our time
To begin the end and start anew
