As the Omega once again began it's expedition into the Vaccus system it instantly picked up strange readings, a few minutes of scanning and the crew ended up finding the source. A planet that appeared to have no land, almost mistaking it for a gas giant before they identified a large tree just barely staying inside the atmosphere.
"The hell is that..?" The Commander said aloud to himself as the Omega got closer to the planet, ordering the Omega for fire a beacon at the only visible land. It was a beacon used to keep the coordinates of moving asteroids, using QEB technology. "Beacon is reporting a breathable atmosphere with no signs of any toxins or dangerous microbes. I suggest a small team with as little equipment as possible, sensors indicate that the island is floating, and we don't know if it's capable of taking as large amount of weight." The Omega's science officer reported, only to swear in a confused tone as the planet and the beacon's signal momentarily disappeared.
"Sir, the planet just..jumped to another point in the galaxy, beacon is still attached and transmitting.." The Officer informed, the Commander shaking his head slightly. "Lets leave it for now, the beacon will keep us informed if it's jumps again, we got more of this system to explore." The Commander ordered, the Omega entering a planet sized wormhole and disappearing into it.
