Isaac Tanak - the prophet
« on: July 23, 2010, 11:02:38 PM »
Name: Isaac Tenaak

Age: 3856 - can shape-shift using magic, though prefers the image of a 30yr old man.

Race: Sage

Alliance: None, but normally allies with who he thinks is correct and right, virtue wise.

Biography: Born upon an unknown planet, he traveled around the galaxy in his magical ship. He visited many worlds on his quest for knowledge. One of such planets was Earth. Since he is a sage, he can do magic, and that is what he did. Unknown to him, the were sentient beings on Earth. Humans. He landed in what is now known as Greece, in circa 1856 B.C.  His landing was a crash landing. His large ship fell onto asia minor on top of the city of Troy, felling the city and its inhabitants. When he awoke, he was surrounded by ruins, as he was flung from his ship upon the crash. He was lying on a bed made of straw inside a tent. He looked around until a Greek soldier came into the tent, he was surprised that he was awake. Isaac could tell that there was much fear in the soldier, so he calmed him using magic. After this first encounter he came back to Greece with the men, and settled in the city of Athens. The Greeks came to reverie him as he taught them ways to do things that they couldn't have done before. Once he was attacked by an assailant on a crowded street. Surprised Isaac used a thunder spell and electrocuted the assailant. Thus he became more of a symbol of thunder, and justice. After around 100 years he became the basis of the Greek god Zeus, to whom he lent his appearance.  Isaac disliked being tied to a god so he left the Greeks and went south to Egypt. He saw the horrible conditions of the Hebrew slaves and he helped free them. Thus he became the basis of Moses. He parted the see and sent the plagues to the Pharaoh. Though he didn't intend to hurt anyone initially.  He lead the Hebrews to what is now Israel. There he helped then build and offered council in the various disguises he had. During this time, he had a prophecy, that was actually about the person who would come to be know as Jesus. He told of the apocalypse that was to come when the 'Messiah' came back again.  He became quite attached to the Hebrews, eventually adopting the Hebrew name Isaac. He lived there for another two hundred years or so. Then he left and began to rebuild his ship, back at the ruins of Troy, more the three hundred years old by then. After he rebuilt the ship out of what he could find or scavenge, he headed off into space again visiting various planets in his thirst for knowledge. He hadn't been seen again until recently. After the second sage war, he appeared in his ancient ship above the planet of Earth, yet again. He visited and saw to his horror, what happened to the lifeforms he came to care about. War, death, pollution, extinction... All, as he saw it, because of technology. He flew off again, this time to visit the Elementals, a people with whom he could teach, and rationalize with.

Weapons: Magical spear, named Agis.

Equipment: Magically reinforced bronze colored metal armor and shield, along with helmet.

Magic Level: 5 - at time he has a limited ability to see a glimpse into the future. This can happen very randomly, and sometimes happens at a very bad time. Such as in battle.

Appearance: Though he has the ability to shape-shift using magic, he normally prefers to appear as a 30 year old man. He has black hair, lightly streaked with gray and naturally curly in this form, which is his original. He wears it long and has a small black goatee, beard and mustache. He wears normally a white tunic that hangs over his left arm, leaving his right arm and a part of his chest bare. He has Caucasian features and has a mediums sized pointed nose, and gray eyes that shift color depending on his mood. Red for angry, gray for calm, blue for happy etc. He is very well muscled, has broad shoulders, lightly tanned skin and wears sandals made of leather.

In battle, he wears magically reinforced armor made of an unknown, but very strong bronze-like metal. This armor looks very similar to a Greek hoplite's armor from the 6th century B.C.

There is only so much pain that can be taken before the bonds and chains of sanity are forsaken
It is in these lonesome times that we reach towards the light sublime
And from that light we pull the resolution of our time
To begin the end and start anew

Approved, though the future thing will be very difficult, as nothing's really set in stone here.
Seeing the world through a child's eyes is truly a unique experience. It helps you to retrieve that sense of awe, magic and wonder that you lost as you lost your innocence. Tell me, when was the last time that you thought of those childhood dreams? You know, the ones that you used to spend all your time wondering and fantasizing about? Have you forgotten them so easily? Have you forgotten what it felt like to see something for the first time, to see the magic in the mundane? Everyone says you should take the time to 'Stop and smell the roses'. But you should also take the time to look for the fairies, embrace the wind and enjoy the rain. Just once today, stop for a moment and look into that little piece of nature you pass everyday. Perhaps you may see something you did not notice before.

yeah, I know. Its not always truthful. I mean, the strands of fate are very much in tune with events IC. One thing happens, than strand is used and there are multiple possibilities for what could happen. Normally around 100. So its sort of just for show.
