"Why would I want to fight you, brother?" Eli asked, hurt tinging his voice. His brows furrowed together, creating wrinkles on his forehead. "You know I'm right." he added as an after thought as he backed towards Hikari. Sure, he was playing it a little immaturely with that line, but he knew he was, and Koty had to know to. He only had a kid to make an Anti-Christ, and he would never love it like it was meant to be.
Within a flash, he ducked around Hikari after touching the barrier and releasing it. Just like before, he took the baby and Hikari and disappeared. He wasn't going to fight, especially not Koty, and he wasn't going to allow Hikari and a small infant see such a thing (even if the baby wouldn't remember, possibly). Eli cared too much. Eli looked at Hikari carefully before the three disappeared, having grabbed hold of Vailen at the last minute. Whether Vailen came with him was his own choice, but he wasn't going to allow his angel to be burned by Koty.
