Lucifer, the rebel king.
« on: July 31, 2010, 05:43:34 PM »
Lucifer appeared in Heaven, at its gates, his form when there that of a serpent man, bounded by black chains. He looked to the gates of Heaven and called out, "My God, or thou who will speak for him, come forth with the child of Yloh, the anti-christ in flesh!"

"God." Eli muttered, feeling a pang when he used his own "name" in vain. "They react fast." sighing, Eli looked down at the baby, smiling softly when the baby smiled in return and closed his eyes. "Guess it's war. Ignorant fool of a brother." Eli muttered, cursing his brother, his skin and flesh, as he headed towards the gate.

Lucifer raised his right hand and glanced at it, the skin green, as he knew what was to come. He bit into the hand, his red blood pouring out slowly.

"If you honestly think I'm going to give this child up that easily, you are mistaken." Eli called, stopping a good distance away from the gates. He wasn't stupid, really now? Eli glared at the gates and waited for them to shimmer before he closed his eyes and concentrated on his body and soul. When he opened his eyes again, he was glowing.

Carefully, he laid the baby down in the clouds and used his hands to warped them, sitting the baby up higher from the normal level of the clouds. Yet again he carefully touched the child and allowed him to glow as well, putting up a barrier with his own magic, a piece of him. No one could touch the child unless it was under his word, if he gave the allowance and permission, which wouldn't be this scenario.

Turning towards his son, Eli walked up to the gates and looked at Lucifer with sadness in his eyes; he didn't stop there though. He squeezed through the gates, allowing the barrier they held to stay standing as he slipped through the magic veil. Ignoring every ounce of defense and instinct to never do such a thing, under these circumstances, Eli opened his arms and embraced Lucifer tightly.

And at the embrace of God, Lucifer dropped to his knees, crushed by the sheer force of Eli's existence. But the form of the serpent did not waver in his request, "Lord, give me the child. The prophecies, as Mark has seen, show the end, but I must train the boy. He is mine to train, not Yloh or Hikaru's, or Heaven's. The prophecies pertain to me, not your brother. I am Lucifer. Please, my Lord, give me the child!"

Eli was torn between giving what his son wanted and keeping the child for himself for the mere sake of keeping the child from being used. Eli couldn't really tell if his son was lying; he had fallen from Heaven, had chosen his own path. "I'm sorry." Eli murmured as he hugged his son, keeping him close and in an embrace. "I can't.." Eli pulled away and stared at Lucifer, his violet eyes looking warily at the serpent, the symbol that was opposite of his, of sin. "I cannot give you that child." Eli backed away from Lucifer and shimmered through the veil of the gates, standing next to the barrier that surrounding the baby.

"Then the war begins here," Lucifer noted, "And it will not be the end of either Heaven or Hell, for the end has been seen different... But perhaps it will be the end for you, your sealed form destroyed... I must now take the child."

And with that, a mark appeared on the child, the mark of sin, and chains appeared around it, shackled to it, as its infant form grew black wings. "Come forth, child of mine! For you are under my command now!"

And out from the clouds, the baby began to float towards Lucifer.

Eli's jaw locked imperceptibly as he watched the baby float away. There was the mark, the mark that resembled sin. "Please, son, don't do it." Eli hissed through his teeth trying to keep himself under control, in human form. He wasn't about to break through any of his seals, not yet. It wasn't time for that. Glaring at his "son", Eli reached for the child, only to have his hand wipe through the baby like it was a mirage; Eli felt the sting of burning flesh and acid, so he pulled his hand back. Before he could even examine what the child of sin had done, his hand was healed, completely normal, like nothing happened. "Damn." Eli growled.

"What do you think you're doing, lieutenant?" A rather angry voice called out and with it Koty walked out from the fabric of space, not appearing through a teleportation or anything of the like, but something different, far different. His eyes appeared half-shut even though they had long been unable to truly see the world, the light of Heaven burned his eyes and made him want to turn away and leave. It was natural, for someone who had lived in the dark for son long to be blinded by the light. He was naked except for an old and worn black cloak, torn at the edges and filled with holes. On his head he wore a crown, and in his hand he held a inverted cross

"The child is neither of yours, and it shall remain in the possession of me and my lover. If either of you intend to take it, I will bring the full power of Destruction upon your kingdoms. No one will survive. Do you understand?" He asked, he was barely holding himself in check.

This was the first time Eli had ever seen Koty appear in Heaven, making it rather odd to see him there, standing in bright and pure light. Without hesitating, Eli pointed a finger at the baby, yelling "Purify!" as holy water seemed to shoot from his finger tips, caressing the baby and flowing around him. "The baby shouldn't have sin in his system." Eli spat, glaring at his son, and then at his brother. "Cruel, impudent monsters." he hissed, glaring at the two before looking back at the baby. He was purifying it through forgiveness. The child didn't deserve this fate.

"Do not take away the child's free will, God, it is the only way to end this," Lucifer looked at the form of God, preforming a miracle, before turning to Koty. "Do not be a fool, Ararus. Allow me one mortal year. One year to train the child for the war to come, and when his training is complete, I will return him to you," Lucifer informed his superior.

"FUCK YOUR PROPHECIES! AND FUCK YOUR VAIN ASS ATTITUDE! You holy son of a bitch, you kidnapped my fucking son! I'll rip your fucking throat out!" The mortal God roared as the cross burst into flame, his form growing and becoming apparently insubstantial, turning into a cloak shaped entity with nothing but two large orbs of God Flame for eyes, not stopping till he reached the size of a sky scraper.

"GIVE ME BACK MY SON, OR I'LL LEAVE THIS PLACE IN RUINS."

"I'm not taking away it's free will." Eli spat, glaring at Lucifer. "You are, by marking and branding it with sin before it can even walk and talk and simply think for itself. Who are you to tell me that I am taking something away, when you are?"

Eli's violet eyes were reduced to slits as he glared at his child before he turned to Koty. "And you, what do you think you are doing here?" he spat, glaring at his brother, not even flinching when his brother was aflame, anger apparent on his face. "I didn't really steal your baby, your lover's daughter gave her over willingly. That is hardly stealing." Eli played with words.

"I DON'T GIVE A SHIT ABOUT YOUR FUCKED UP LOGIC! YOU TOOK MY SON, HOW YOU DID IT IS IRRELEVANT!" Koty screamed as he brought the cross down towards Eli's body, it's massive size and the power behind it enough to crush him if he didn't defend himself. From his body creatures of smoke and violet fire seemed to pour out, constructs created with only one purpose.

Kill the forces of Heaven.

It didn't take long for three distinct figures to appear close by, a naked boy, a man in a dark cloak holding a female figure, and another man in what appeared to be very heavy armor. In a flash they moved, heading towards their brother. The girl seemed to be left behind where they had appeared.

Eli growled at Koty in response to his advance, bringing up his arms and allowing the cross to hit a large portion of air that seemed to ricochet it away from Eli and his body. "Fuck up logic? Really?" Eli hissed, glaring at his brother. "It's obvious, it's fact, face it." he spat, glaring at the new comers in HIS territory. "So you need back up, now?" Eli smirked, getting cocky just slightly before he calmed himself. That's when it hit him.  What if his brother was on the verge of dying?

Suddenly, Eli was overwhelmed with emotions; utter sadness. "Are you okay?" Eli asked, his voice choked and hoarse. Even if they were mortal enemies, Eli didn't like the idea of his brother dying.

Hikari honestly didn't know what to think. She had finally snapped out of being charmed, that she was alarmed at the fighting going on. True...this was in a way her master, here in Heaven. But she had also promised her mother to keep the child safe, even if it she didn't really like her mother. Her mother scared her enough at times, that Hikari merely obeyed out of fear. And this? This just twisted her ethics. Did she dare say anything? It was in a way, her step brother after all.

"M...My Lord... there are two children. My mother put me in charge of two babies... But the other...it was so ....." She shook her head rapidly, fear filling her eyes, and making every inch of her body tremble. "I was afraid, and left that thing in Hell... It cannot possibly be my step brother."

"Of course I'm not okay, while you sit here on your throne I've been doing OUR job. Even sealed without even a FRACTION of my power I've been keeping the other Embodiments in check, you've grown so blind you can't even see the war about to happen. A WAR THAT IS GOING TO END IN MY DEATH! And yet you sit here, kidnap my son, my successor!" Koty roars, once again bringing the cross down, this time even harder, enough strength to break the barrier of air above Eli. He seemed to be to engrossed in killing his brother to notice what Hikari said.

The three had reached the kid and Vincent was the first to take hold of him, wrapping him in a barrier of black smoke that was reinforce by Rogue's God Fire. "We have him Father!" Ryt called out, the creatures Koty had summoned surrounding them and adopting defensive postures.

Eli's knees buckled at the blow, but before any damage was done he rolled out of the way. Even if he was human, he wasn't slow, nor incompetence. His mind was warped by what Hikari said, his mind reeling. "What?" he asked, astounded at what he heard before everything was let loose.

Within mere seconds, Eli's right hand was glowing and he snapped his wrist, flicking the baby away and out of the grip of mere demi-gods. "Let of him." Eli spat, glaring at the men. "There's one in Hell for you guys, go take him." Eli could feel the truth in what Hikari said, the baby WAS evil. "HE was meant to be your successor." he muttered, glaring at Koty. 'Take him, not this baby." Eli said the last bit with pure affection, enough that would make Koty sick.

Zumi stared at everything going on, the way Vincent was taking the baby. Was that what she wanted? Zumi stayed where she was before she decided to intervene. She said nothing as she went to stand on the other side the gate, but she was repelled. After all, she was a sinner. If she stepped foot there she'd be sent to Hell and turned into a tree. Shuddering at the though, Zumi backed away and looked from Koty to Eli, then to Vincent. The way he looked with a small child made her..feel "weird", like butterflies infesting her stomach weird.

"My mother told me to protect both with my life, while she went to obtain The Mark of Eternity from the Anrufe, b-b-but.... I ran. That child, it's like nothing I've ever felt before... As if the Embodiment of Evil themselves blessed the child, I couldn't stand to be near it...." Hikari bowed her head, her wings giving a small tremble. "I'm sorry. I thought if I brought just the one, no one would realize there was a second, and the child would be safe remaining in Hell until my mother came back."

"One in Hell? She gave birth to twins? No..this is terrible, they'll have to kill each other.." Koty mumbled, suddenly appearing in his natural state, the artifacts gone leaving him naked and apparently distressed. "Terrible..never wanted this, just had to have a successor. Going to be killed in the War.. I'M GOING TO BE KILLED!" He screamed, falling to his knees and holding his head between his hand. Screaming at the top of his lungs. He had "died" hundreds of times, but he couldn't ever really die, he'd just appear in some far end of the afterlife. But this was real death, something he is supposed to be immune to, something that isn't supposed to touch him.

"I'm gonna die, and they're going to have to kill each other.. Can't be two successors, the power will only accept one, will even twist fate itself so they'll be the ones to kill each other.. Not even you can't stop this." Koty muttered, talking faster then most people could think as he had his little breakdown. He wasn't supposed to die, but it was going to happen. And knowing this, and the fate that his children would be forced to kill each other. "That's how it was then little angel? It seems even my children follow our fate brother, split from each other in the womb itself.. Evil and Good, two successors to the throne of Destruction. Damn it, if I ever see Etaf I'll rip his power and destroy it myself."

Eli felt the urge to go towards his brother, but he had a feeling he would snap and attempt to kill him, again. "I only wanted to see my nephew..the one you kept from me." Eli murmured, pain crossing across his face when he realized that, once again, he was in the wrong. "What if..what if I take one?" he asked, his voice sturdy but still slightly revolted at his damage. "How would they even know each other?" Eli asked, his eyes trained on his brother but still keeping tabs of the small angel and the child.

Zumi shielded her eyes as she stood against the gates, not really touching them but relatively close to where she could feel the warmth radiating from them. She hated the fact that she couldn't go past them. "He's right." she spoke up, looking around and suddenly wishing she said nothing; she shouldn't draw attention to herself.

Hikari quickly shielded her eyes. Pornography was a sin. And not a very good sight in the first place. Though maybe her mother would disagree....  When Koty had spoken to her, she nodded, still carrying the fear she held for 'the other one.' "I don't think my mother had the chance to tell you, Sir." She kept her eyes firmly shut as she spoke. "She left them with me to get the mark, so the Anrufe couldn't use it against you. But fell into a bit of trouble and couldn't return.

The angel was a bit shaken up by Koty's emotions, as far as she knew anyone her mother knew couldn't be a force of good. And to see this one in such a state, shook her up as she stood, watching. But then Eli's words brought her back to reality "I... Not to infer, My Lord. But wouldn't the children be best with their mother till of a certain age? Then separate them? It... it can't be best to keep them from their mother at such a young age." Hikari spoke from her own experiences, as she recommended this. As even if she was just a clone of Hikaru, and not her REAL daughter, she still suffered the psychological damage of her mother caring nothing for her, and abandoning her. Not to mention, killing her...

"Would only delay it..if you kept this one here the other would bring about such a war that even you'd be forced to name a successor. This is a forced point in fate, not even free will can do a thing about it. I already named this child my successor, but he split into two. So they're both named, when I die, the force of Destruction would live on through both of them, but it would compel them to take each other's life. When that happens the winner would become Destruction." Koty replied.

"Those pathetic Aralangs..I would've wiped them from existence, but I was busy keeping back the tide of forces, whatever this war will be brother. It's general has yet to arrive, but it's strong enough to unite the lesser embodiments against us without ever meeting them, and supposedly strong enough to kill us both." He mumbled.

"You never know, if she says the other child is pure evil, then maybe it's suppose to be your successor, and this one was just a mistake, maybe he was just there at the wrong time." Eli turned to Hikari. "And I can always find a girl for the baby, one that would be willing to take care of him." Eli thought for a moment. "It'd delay it, definitely, but it might also take away everything the child thinks and feels, making them seem like two entirely different children." Eli looked at his brother. "Please, think of the two of them. Do you WANT them to be damned?" he asked, eyeing his naked brother. "Also, please, put clothes on. This is Heaven."

Vailen stole the baby right from the demi gods and flew away as fast as he could. He was headed to where Hikaru was to deliver the first of the babies. He would then go retrieve the 2nd one of the babies from hell.
