It was a place which K2323 had visited long ago to meditate before his epic battle with Jikore, the messenger of Chaos, who had alone caused quite the stir among those who had fought him. Arriving on the very platform where he had meditated before, dropping right out of a giant, blue ball of energy, K2323 was impressed. He had forgotten that spell he'd just used. It was amazing.

The platform floated in blackness, sustained by a mysterious force of magic. It was decorated with the pictures of five men, the 'destiny lords', men who had died long ago. This had been the place where they had sealed fate. And this was the place where K2323 would change destiny. He would recreate the ideals of the Sage Three, and show everyone that the Sage Three were supreme fighters.

Gaserlake came in after K2. He looked around, seeing nothing but blackness, the five pictures, and the platform that they are standing on. "So, where are we?" Gaserlake asked.

"Removed from time. When we get done here, for everyone but you and I, five seconds will have passed. For us, it will have been... no less than one century," K2323 explained.

And with that, he simply sat down, a short table appearing near ground-level with two glasses of tea on it, one for each of the two. K2323 picked up his glass and began sipping the tea. "Join me, Gaserlake."

Gaserlake also sat down at the table. He picked up his cup of tea and examined it. Looks like just any other tea. He smelled it. Smells just like any other tea. He then sipped it. Now, that's different. It takes pretty good. "So, a century, huh? No big deal to me, as long as it actually has taken place five seconds," he said before drinking his tea again. This time, he drank all of it. It was refreshing. "That's pretty good tea," he said, putting the cup down. "So, what kind of fighting are we talking about here?"

"Energy-based attacks, and the like... We're going to unlock your magic," K2323 explained, "That tea there is composed of properties which will help you realize other energies. Soon enough, you'll be sensing my magical energies inside me, feel my presence through pure energy."

"Ah. No wonder it tasted too good," Gaserlake said. "So, magic? About bloody time, too. And, who's 'we're'?"

"You and I," K2323 simplified, "It takes the both of us for this to work... Now then."

A cup of coffee now appeared in front of Gaserlake.

"Oh," said Gaserlake. He looked at the coffee. He looked back at K2 and smiled. "What in this one, this time?" He grabbed the cup of coffee, drinking it.

"Poison," K2323 replied casually. "Lethal."

Gaserlake nodded. "Oh. That's nice." He put the cup, down. He wasn't nervous or scared at all. In fact, he was pretty calm. The body would naturally filter the poison and destroy it. Gaserlake's Elite Energy would destroy any toxins and poisons that enter the body. "I take poisons as a snack. They taste pretty good. Again, explaining the good taste. So, what was the poison supposed to do?"

"I was joking," K2323 explained, "It really just makes you go blind, but its not poison. You'll regain your sight in a day... Your hearing will also diminish shortly."

He tossed Gaserlake a weapon -- a spear -- and watched as the platform expanded into a vast forest. "When its complete, come after me by sensing my magic signature, and then stab me."

And with that, K2323 teleported to a hiding spot in a tree.

Gaserlake caught the spear and nodded, as K2 teleported away. He let the drink affect the eyesight and the hearing. Soon, he would be completely blind and deaf. Just sight and hearing? Gaserlake has a great sense of smell, but he suspected that that would be cheating. Trying to detect his magic signature? He suspected he would fail on this one. The first tries most likely end in a failure.

The eyesight and the hearing went away. Of course, right now, trying to sense a magic signature is like trying to sense something that seemingly doesn't exist. Gaserlake doesn't expect the tea to take effect any time soon. Not all things happen quickly.

Gaserlake stayed still... until he noticed something. It made him twitch a bit. It's faint, but... it has to be a magic signature. What else could it be? It grew stronger. The tea is settling in and it taking effect. He slowly walked towards it. Then, many other magic signatures popped up, yet the first signature he sensed was the strongest. But, what were the other signatures? Trees? It must be. He put his hand at the signature in question. He felt bark. Yes, they must be signatures. It's working. He continued to walk towards the strongest signature.

K2323, sensing Gaserlake's signature -- incredibly faint due to the fact that he currently had no magic -- got closer.

Gaserlake got closer and closer to the signature. When he got relatively close to K2, he readied his spear, ready to stab him.

And suddenly, K2323 teleported to another tree a mile away.

When he sensed the signature to be gone, he was a bit confused. Was it a false signature? No. It can't be. K2 was there, and now he's gone? Is it that he cloaked his signature? Suddenly, he detected another signature. It's very faint, like part of the background, but it appeared, like out of nowhere. It has to be him. But, it could be a decoy. He walked up to where K2 previously was and lunged his spear at the location, catching nothing but air. He's not there. He turned to the new signature and walked towards it, now at a faster pace.

But orbs made by K2323 appeared in several trees, giving off his magic signature.

Multiple signatures? "K2, you cheater," Gaserlake thought to himself as a joke. He went to the middle of the field of signatures. If he figures out which one's real, it's a less distance to walk to, unless he teleports again. If that's the case, then he would have to resort to throwing the spear. All of them all the same... except for one... One is different from the others. That's all Gaserlake needed to know which one is real, but this one is... more complex. This signature has more... properties in it than the rest. But, even that could be a decoy, and K2 is hiding his signature to the point that he's just like the orbs. It would be an effective decoy, indeed, but it's worth a try. He speed-walked towards the unique magic signature, his spear ready.

When he got close enough, he threw the spear with great speed and accuracy at K2.

K2323 caught the speer by slowing it down with his mind. He nodded, speaking, "Good, Gaserlake. Now then... Let us return to the platform."

And suddenly, the forest was once more a platform, and they were still sitting at the table. Another cup of coffee appeared. "Drink.."

Gaserlake drank the coffee, and he slowly regained sight and hearing. "So, what's next?"

One hundred years passed for the two, full of intense training! They gained epic powers beyond imaginable and Gaserlake learned how to tie his shoes and count by two-

"Well, Gaserlake, old friend," K2323 noted as the two drank NORMAL tea, "It's time to return home."
