[Gaserlake]

K2 and Gaser went through a portal, from GE to this universe in another dimension. This dimension is an outpost. In fact, it is a military base. There are thousands of Sajuuks in this dimension. The two arrived on a space station. To be precise, they are in an observation post, with a 360-degree view of the place. The view is amazing. There is dozen of Sajuuks in plain view, and many more Dreadnoughts and Keepers. There are no planets in this universe. In fact, there are no planets in the entire dimension. This dimension is all space, and no land, a perfect place for the Aralangs to live in. The outpost is heavily defended, and the windows are more than bullet proof. It can withstand a meteor impact. Though, just to be safe, there are armor that can go over the windows, for increased protection. The space station is planet-sized, two times bigger than Jupiter.There are no stars, in this dimension. Originally, the entire dimension is made out of energy, and only energy. Everything you see that is not energy, is not native to this dimension. Life is sweet for the Aralangs. The Aralangs do routine exercises, though, at random times, not scheduled times, to keep the defense prepared. Why did the Aralangs put such a large force into this dimension? Because it originally has no other life, and one of the safest places the Aralangs took control of. It would be one of the last places the enemy would attack. These forces are part of the reserves. This dimension is so well protected, that if the enemy were to attack, they would be destroyed. But, in order to not have the enemy intrude, the Aralangs put a barrier of Pure Energy, making it very hard for the enemies to get through. It prevents wormholes, travel, wormholes, spacetime manipulation, and everything else you can think of. How did K2 and Gaser get in here in the first place, then? If there is an Aralang signature, the barrier would let them come through. If there is a slightest bit of another signature detected, then the field would not let them pass through. That way, no enemy would be able to come here. The space station is very powerful. It is one of the generators of powering the Pure Energy barrier. Even one space station can power the barrier at full power in each universe, and there are hundreds of them each universe. For the dimension, there is one, very powerful source, that can power up the barrier to full power, by itself. Yet, it has thousands of space stations powering the dimension's barrier. Yes, the Pure Energy barrier goes around the universe, as well the dimension itself. Each universe has its own barrier, and the dimension itself has its own barrier. K2 and Gaser are safe, indeed.

The Aralangs first came here as they were exploring. They wanted to get more territory to increase mass production of ships and technology, as they were in a war with a very powerful enemy. When they found that this universe is nothing, but space, they were not disappointed. Oh, no, they were actually pleased to find this empty. It is a place where they can put in the Pure Energy barrier. They can do anything they want with no conflict of native nature, as there is no native nature here, except the universe and the dimension, and they aren't complaining. They then made small space stations, the size of Earth. Then, when they got the resources, they made a very large space station, twice the size of Jupiter, and applied the barrier to the edge of the universe, and it worked. The barrier is at full power. The Aralangs then made more space stations to power the barrier, for redundancy. They did the same thing to all of the universes. The next thing they needed to do was to have the dimension itself protected by the barrier. The Aralangs knew that the dimension is too big for space stations to do it themselves. They needed a very powerful source. They then made a megalith. It powers the barrier at full power. The megalith is enormous. It is as big as our solar system in real life. There is only one in the entire dimension, due to its demand of resources to make it. The megalith's defenses are very powerful. It is very rare for even the Aralangs to have a megalith. The megalith's secondary beams are as powerful as the Sajuuk's cannon charged up for 10 posts. It uses 6 beams, one on each side, that can destroy other megaliths. Its plasma turrets shoots plasma that is as hot as a supernova explosion. It's armor is extremely strong, as well as the shields. The megalith is a masterpiece. They then built space stations to power the barrier, for redundancy. The space stations themselves have weapons. Their secondary beams are as powerful as a Dreadnought that has its cannon charged up for 5 posts. It also has many primary cannons that is twice the power of the Sajuuk's. The shields are also stronger than a Sajuuk's, as well as the armor. The plasma turrets shoot plasma that is as hot as it is needed for controlled nuclear fusion, which is hotter than the sun's core. The smaller space stations the size of earth has secondary beams slightly more powerful than a Dreadnought's, as well as the primary beams. The plasma shot by plasma turrets is also slightly hotter than the Dreadnaught's. The shields are also stronger than the Dreadnought's, as well as the armor. This dimension is extremely secured by the Aralangs.

There are billions of Aralangs in this space station K2 and Gaser are in. There is everything the Aralangs need, from entertainment, to military needs. There are gun emplacements everywhere, for the Aralangs to use. There are observation posts on the space station, giving 360-degree view, just like the one K2 and Gaserlake are in. There are bars, restaurants, live theaters, game rooms, and much more. There are a lot of them. If there is an emergency, or a drill, they would immediately go to their posts. The reason why there are a lot of them, is because of the size of the outpost. There are teleporters inside the space station, so one can get to one side of the space station to the others side, which is why there is no AT field. You can even teleport to another station. Though, the farther away the station, the longer it takes to charge up, to meet the required energy to teleport you there. There are armories, each one housing hundreds of weapons. The space station's armor is very strong, so it is very safe to use grenades, rocket launchers, and other explosives. There are even tanks in the space station. There are several hundred tanks, in fact. There are a lot of things that you wouldn't expect in a space station, indeed, but hey, the space stations are planet-sized, and they are the Aralangs' home, so that's why there are many things you can expect in a space station, as if it is a planet. The space stations do not move. Their beams to power the barrier is enough to quickly destroy a Sajuuk, especially since the beam is wide enough to cover 5 Earths, side-to-side. For the megalith, it is wide enough to cover 10 of our suns, side-to-side.

K2 is experiencing an AM field far more powerful than he encountered in Aralia. The Aralangs made it so that it is only compatible with Aralangs. Of course, the Aralangs can make holes in the AM field. There is also an AF field, preventing people from using the force. Everything is made for the Aralangs, and only for the Aralangs, by default. Settings can be changed to be ideal for other races, but right now, it is set for only the Aralangs. Gaserlake looked out the window, looking at the big, white beam of Pure Energy, being fed to the barrier. As the Pure Energy proceeds with distance, it becomes less opaque, until it is completely invisible. "You see, K2?" Gaser said to K2, smiling. "This power is enough to destroy everyone and everything in the universe we came from. But, we aren't going to use this." Gaserlake pointed at the beam of Pure Energy. "Remember this? Anything, everything, anyone, and everyone that goes into this beam would be instantly destroyed. If you went into this beam, you wouldn't feel a thing, literally, as you would die before your body can feel the pain. Of course, the same applies to the barrier as well. You need incredible power to get through this barrier, which is the thing you did. I was impressed." Gaserlake then turned to K2, with a serious face. "Then, we had amnesia. We forgot about what happened, there. Soon after, around a week later, I remembered the incident. You must have accidentally knocked our memories out for a while, as well as accidentally entering the universe in the first place. I have amnesia. I remember everything from now back to 3.6 billion years. Beyond those 3.6 billion years, nothing. We Aralangs would remember being born even, but not me. I'm not putting you in prison, by the way. Again, you have another excused crime, as you have a reason why you did it." Gaserlake looked as if he is thinking. It only lasted a second. "Oh, right. Sorry about the AM field back in the universe and in here, as well. In the other universe, it's war. Here, it's defense," Gaserlake said. He then said in interest, "Now, tell me about this Aragon."

[K2]

K2323 had just been in the dimension he called home after ten years of being gone for about a week. Now, here he was in a completely different (and strange) dimension which seemed to be one mostly, if not entirely, of space. Most dimensions were entirely land with no vacuum. This one was a vacuum with no land..

This dimension also seemed to have hardly any light. Outside in space, anyway. Back home, there were things called stars, and you could see images of the stars as their light traveled for lightyears. Here, there was no natural light, and if there was it most definitely did not travel for light years.

Of course, the structure they were in and the surrounding space had artificial light. At least, it seemed to be all artificial. Whatever the Aralangs used as a power source lit area, and Pure Energy itself had light which was given off as it fed the huge barrier threatening anything outside its containing area from entering. A huge-ass barrier indeed.

K2323 wasn't sure if he liked this. He had a full view of everything. He was in some kind of observation post, anyway, overlooking space. It seemed to all be a field (perhaps it was just glass) or window, with no exit to the rest of the space station. Of course, the exit was probably obvious to any Aralang, but K2323 wasn't custom to their ways as the K Empire had a much more traditional sense of doing things due to its heavy influence from both Earth and the Guardians..

It was kind of weird saying that. K2323 had learned within his last ten years that the Aralangs were those people. That branch of the Guardians, the people who had raised K2323 and his brother Kai, who had left them. Or rather, had been assigned to leave them. Even now, K2323 didn't know much about it, but he remembered bits and pieces of the stories from when he was a boy.

K2323 stood with the elder at the door of the Guardian Archives. As the elder, smiling, opened the door to the huge library, K2323's eight-year-old-mouth dropped in awe. He was staring at a library which went longer than Master Konjan's speeches on barriers or Gast's ranting on how he and Kai were trouble makers. This library was truly huge.

“Elder, sir, why have we come here?”
“While Konjan and Kai are out training, I will ask you to help me organize files.”
“Sure, but this place is so big!”
“We're starting in the Guardian History section.”
“Guardian History Section? What's that?”
“Well, it's the place that people go to read about the history of the Guardians.”

K2323 and the Elder spent the whole day organizing the book shelves of the Guardian History section of the Archive. K2323 eventually found a book that seemed to have no title. The Elder revealed that the title of some books in the Archive were covered with a magic spell that made them only readable to those who knew the secret password. What a strange spell, K2323 had thought, but it no doubt was a good way to hide information.

After the Elder figured out the password, he told K2323 how to unlock the hidden text (the title of the book, in this case). K2323 unlocked the title, following the Elder's instructions. There was some dust on the book, but he blew it off to reveal the titles name. It read, “The Events Of The Great Split.” At first, K2323 wasn't that interested, but after calming down in the excitement of learning a new spell, he read the book synopsis on the back, not understanding what it said.

He held it up to the Elder with curiosity. What did the words here mean, exactly, and what was this Great Split that the book discussed? And what did it have to do with the Guardians, anyway? Why hadn't K2323 ever heard about this? Surely the Elder could answer the questions K2323 had about the book.

“Elder, what is this book about?”
The Elder took the book and read it before a smile came to his face. “K2323, have you ever heard of the Aralangs?”
K2323 shook his head. The Elder figured K2323 wouldn't have, but he didn't give up explaining yet. “Well, can you tell me what the purpose of the Guardians is?” the Elder asked, sure K2323 could do that.
“Of course,” K2323 replied, “we keep everyone safe and fight the bad guys.”
The Elder grinned. “Is that so?”
“Yep.”

It dawned upon the Elder that K2323 had used the word 'we'. That was right, though. K2323 and Kai were as much Guardians as anyone. Hell, they'd even been on a few missions themselves along side Konjan, their instructor. The twins were Guardians (in-training), no doubt about it.

“Well, K2323, do you know what dimensions are?”
“Kind of, I know that there are four of them, and only three that we've been too, except for the Genesis King, and a few others.. And-”
“Woah,” the Elder said, grinning, “Slow down. Where did you learn all that? Did Konjan teach you?”
K2323 shook his head. “I've been reading books in here.”

The Elder was really impressed. K2323 was reading books in the Archive? Not only that, but he'd learned what a dimension was and even about the Genesis King, it seemed (though he had no idea about the Genesis magic inside him, locked away because of his older sister Hikaru) just by reading these books. There was no doubt K2323 would be a very powerful sage even at a young age if he already had grasped the concepts of dimensions.

“Well, K2323, the Aralangs are Guardians. A long, long time ago another elder who ruled the Guardians long before me divided the Guardians into three groups. One for each dimension.”
“So, the Aralangs inhabited the Sage dimension?”
“Nope.”
“Wait.. so they inhabited the other dimension? I thought nobody ever went there?”
“One of my close friends went there, he was an Aralang. But let's keep that a secret. Not many people know about the Aralangs.”
“Okay, but..”
“I bet Konjan and your brother are back, and it's getting time for dinner. We better get going.”

K2323 forgot entirely of the topic as he agreed eagerly to go on to dinner, and the two finished putting up books before going off to meet up with everyone and eat.. K2323 had no idea that in just a few short years he'd get past Aralang technology of extreme power on accident.

As the memory flooded back into his mind, K2323 froze. That memory was over a thousand years old. The Aralangs.. He'd forgotten all about that conversation. He had learned so much during the last decade, though, about the Great Split, but that memory back then as a boy with the Elder in the Archive. That had been the first time that K2323 had heard of the Aralangs.


“What do you mean when you say that I got past a barrier like that?” K2323 asked, not aware of what exactly had transpired just a few years after that memory when he opened the hole through which many would travel to the Kingdoms.

[Gaserlake]

"Well," said Gaserlake, not entirely sure how to explain it. "The barrier is meant to physically block people from coming in, in any way. From moving in, to portals, to wormholes, heck even spacetime manipulation, you name it. You went in through means of a portal. In order to get through the barrier without any authorization, you need a lot of power, and I mean a lot. We were quite amazed at what happened. A part of the barrier actually became visible, and it had a dent in it. The dent started out stretching slowly, giving us time to investigate. I was in the investigation. All of a sudden, the dent stretched out a incredible speeds, then there was a huge explosion. You did a good job at critically damaging the Sajuuk I was in. The armor has been destroyed, leaving a very large gap. I happened to be right at the collision of the explosion. The shields were knocked out very quickly. Keep in mind that the barrier was also Pure Energy, back then, so you did a good job."

[K2]

K2323 was confused. Sajuuks were, from what K2323 gathered, those big ships he saw nearby now. He saw a few other ships, three different kinds. One of those had to be a Sajuuk, then. Destroying the armor on any of those looked tough, and destroying that barrier seemed damn near impossible at the current way it was being made.. How odd.
"When did I do all this?" K2323 asked.

[Gaserlake]

Gaserlake seemed a little amazed. "You don't remember? Well, it has happened thousands of years ago."

[K2]

K2323 glanced over to Gaser, a look of boredom on his face now as the scene changed. "We'll need to leave soon. Why are we here?"

[Gaserlake]

"Tell me about this Aragon," Gaserlake said, with a serious face.

[K2]

"I can't," said K2, turning away. "There is no more telling. From now on, I have to show you."

[Gaserlake]

"It better not be in the universe we came from. I have no idea of the outcome of the Aralangs back there. My ESP cannot work outside the universe. They would send distress signals, and this would be one of the last places to send a distress signal, as these are the reserve forces. Why can't you tell me? Is it that hard to explain? Of all the things you show me, most of the time, hell happens. A lot more threats have been detected. Some of the last ones were the most dangerous."

[K2]

K2323 sighed, glancing back at Gaserlake. "Just get us to.. the first dimension. The Era Valley, if you can."

[Gaserlake]

Every station has a device that allows people to go to another dimension. It is powerful enough to bring the stations themselves to another dimension.

Gaserlake took K2 through some hallways and such. It's a bit long way, but it's worth it. He led him to the next room, which contains the device that creates a portal to another dimension. A similar one K2 saw in the GE universe. "This machine can make a portal to millions of dimensions. Era Valley... I haven't been there for quite a long time."

The device charged up and created a portal. The portal shows only white, then it shows the other side.

K2 sighed and began to walk through the portal. It had been a long time since he had been home. The Era Valley was the place he was born, and where he lived for hundreds of years when taking a break from the Kingdoms. Now, he was going back.. But not to relax. He was going back to the Era Valley strictly to save the dimensional plane and shit.

[Gaserlake]

Gaserlake came through, impressed with the view. The portal closed behind them. He looked around, amazed. "I don't know if they would like a non-Sage person to come in unexpectedly."
