Communication Hub
« on: August 05, 2010, 10:11:26 PM »
A hub had been created in space for the purposes of intergalactic communication. Avidan had killed every operator on board the hub after getting the information that he had needed to obtain. He had killed them viciously but had been merciful allowing them a quick death after he got the information he needed from them.

He sent out a transmission to all non anrufe owned mercenary and bounty hunter ships. “Attention. I have an assignment for you and it is a rather simple assignment. You are to bring to me the soul organ of  the one called Aria immediately. You will be paid upon delivery of the soul organ.” A picture of a soul organ and a picture of Aria appeared on their screens.

Hoping that venture would work Avidan had no choice but to wait. He had studied necromancy and so he brought back to life everyone on board the station as best he could.
He tapped his foot impatiently waiting for some mercenaries or bounty hunters to respond to his transmission at the very least.

A single reply had been given, by a odd alliance of pirates, mercenaries, and other such people. Being that the entire alliance of these people thrived on one thing, the message was to the point:"Whats the pay?"

"You will find out that I can be very generous. 30 mil creds to whoever obtains the soul organ of Aria. She is a member of the Anrufe though so be on your guard. When you kill her after taking it ensure she stays dead. " came the reply back.

"30 Mil? He really wants the girl dead...Or she's high priority! Hm...Maybe we could make some money from her as a hostage...Nah, lets just kill the bitch and collect the reward!" One of the higher-ranking members of this particular alliance suggested, as they debated a plan of action.
Eventually, they decided to press for more information.
"We wanna know stuff about the target. Location, this group o' her's, her combat-experience, how hard it'll be. Then maybe we'll talk!"

OOC:I just decided I wanted to NPC a small alliance of pirates and bandits and such, to anyone reading. He said it was broadcast to all bounty hunters and mercs, so...There's bound to be these kinda people hearing about it. So yeah. NPC Groups FTW! XD
Also, I expect them to last no less than five minutes against the Anrufe. Juuuuust sayin'. XD

A new transmission was sent.

It contained data on the strategies and appearances of each of the Anrufe members. It also contained all known information about their worlds.

“Now I know this may seem weird to you but you are to ensure that her friends, the rest of the Anrufe don't intervene and spoil the plans. Further, an extra 15 mil will be added if you prevent them from finding out it was myself who sent this message.” said Avidan smirking.

Tracking someone meant gaining information, and gaining information meant asking around and knowing the right people. The Anrufe took a different approach at this and installed fear in the hearts of others till they got what they wanted to know. In their quest to find the one named Avidan (had they killed him before? Nobody seemed to remember.), they asked (and tortured) countless people. Mainly bounty hunters...

And they found him in an abandoned Communications Hub. Reli and Red Zero teleported into the hub, glancing at the target as the communication panels began to burn.

"We hear you're chasing after an Anrufe member -- no, a leader's soul. That will not be tolerated," Reli exclaimed.

Who were these two? He had never seen them before and that was a problem. How was he supposed to avoid a return trip if trouble kept popping up out of the wood work?

“Well if you want me to stop, then provide me with a clone of your leader known as Aria. Then with the clone I can ensure I don't have to make a return trip to somewhere and be tortured. Further if you help me I will....train you to become a force that is even more dangerous.” He said.

"Unfortunately, we've got to kill you," Red Zero spoke up, "So sorry!"

And with that, a red energy began to surround Avidan.

“I was afraid you would say that and so I came prepared for that eventuality.” He removed a small remote from his pocket and turned on the intercom.

“You see I did something here that made me quite stronger than you would estimate.” With that he snapped his fingers and the doors opened and out came the people that worked this place only armed and they looked like they were being controlled.

All of them unleashed blasts of Negion at Reli and Red Zero, blasts of green fire anyway.
As for the red energy, it turned to purple energy as he willed a Negion Aura around his body protecting him from the energy.

The energy now under his control surged around him and his minions. “Just copy her soul organ. Give me the copy and I can leave her be. That would suffice for both of us and if I seem to be dead, then whoever it is who wants me dead won't mind if I stayed out of hell.”

Red Zero and Reli created a barrier around themselves quickly as the purple energy began to mix in with the negion energy and explode... The blast would be enough to kill Avidan.

Avidan had somehow miraculously survived the blast as at the last moment two of his minions had teleported him out of his Aura and taken his place inside of it.

“Now. Where was I? Oh yes. You were about to copy Aria's soul organ and give the copy to me so I can avoid a return trip.” He was now levitating off of the ground as the ground began to turn black. It was a void spell but one done by him.

"So do you wish to continue foolishly trying to kill me or will you accept my demands?" He snapped again and more of his minions entered the room. He had enslaved the entire station.

The ground suddenly became a floor of crystal, stopping the void spell. "Fuck you," Reli told Avidan, "I'm going to fucking rip your head off!"

And at that, red energy created a wall blocking the minions from Red Zero, Avidan, and Reli. "Now, it's just you and me."

Red Energy began to surge up towards Avidan.

So they wanted to mess with energy huh?? Unfortunately for them energy was one of Avidan's specialties and he merely flicked his wrist and the energy redirected itself.

It did not come towards him but rather at the wall, shifting to a blue color though and was on the opposite frequency as the other red energy.
“You know. You could just give me a copy of her soul organ and I would never be a problem again as I wouldn't have a deadline to do at the moment.” said Avidan still floating in the air.

Meanwhile though the crystal changed to a blood red color and so did the floor. Now the floor itself would absorb  the magic of whoever stood on it and turn that magic into energy which it would send to Avidan.
“You know you really need to avoid crystal floors.”  He said laughingly.

The law of frequencies took into effect as the blue energy hit the red energy, making the red wall of energy fade from existence.

“But I find it boring to fight you when I have the definitive advantage. See, I control this entire station and that means that I can make the station do my fighting for me.” He pushed a button on the remote and laser guns mounted on the wall fired at the Anrufe as did robots armed with AM bullets.

“And the best part is I am not even breaking a sweat yet.” He said with a smirk as more of the defenses attacked the Anrufe members.

The blood floor changed to obsidian as the blue energy locked onto Avidan's signature, wrapped around him, and began exploding. Another red wall rose, blocking the bullets and laser guns and other defenses.

The explosion however never happened as what they were attacking was only a minion disguised with magic as Avidan.

Avidan had secretly teleported at the start of the fight but had in order to fool them spread his magical signature all around the station with rapid teleportations and spheres of energy that seemed to radiate his own magic signature.

But the real Avidan arrived in the minion's place, being pulled in right as the explosion happened.

However the Anrufe had failed to take into account a number of factors namely one of which was that Avidan was not currently in his own body having left it safely on Magimeta. So when the explosion happened he just went back into his own body as it destroyed the spell he had cast on his current form.

But his spirit would not be able to survive the explosion, it would literally explode everything about his body -- spirit included, as it was Dom Magic.

If of course it had been his spirit in the body, but rather a copy of his mind had been implanted.

But all living things had spirits, so it was his spirit.

At least they would have thought that but he had made a copy of himself, taken the minion and made it fuse with the copy so as to make it independent.

But that would just be redundant as that would mean he hadn't been there the whole time, but the Anrufe had brought the real Avidan there.
