After Archive sensors picked up an incredibly large reading they at first thought it to be a rather large star, but after analyzing it more they realized that it wasn't producing enough heat to be a star, hell, it wasn't really producing anything. This either meant it would be a very, very large gas giant, which could prove very useful when it came to resources, or it was something..else. The ARF Thanatos accompanied by the ADF Alpha appeared through a wormhole, Matry of course the captain of the Thanatos with his grandson Seth being the ranking military officer aboard the Alpha.

"Sir..the mass we detected..it's a ship. It's larger then anything we've encountered but appears to be inactive, base readings show that it's incredibly old and heavily damaged. Most likely abandoned eons ago." Ity nervously reported, the results appearing in front of Matry in holographic form. "Report this back to the Library, open a channel with the Alpha." The great scientific mind of the Archive requested, a video and audio channel was opened between the two ships rather quickly.

"Seth, this is..a shocking discovery, I need the Alpha to provide military personal and equipment to the Thanatos. I intend to find some kind of docking apparatus and begin exploration of the ship, if no apparatus can be found we'll have to make one." He explained, the Thanatos using every kind of sensor they could on the discovery, hoping to find a way inside.

Seth was looking at the massive ship in sheer awe, almost not hearing his grandfather's words. But he snapped back to normal, and said,"Oh, uh, yes, of course. But what about any defenses? I'd imagine that even in this state, it'd have some form of online self-defense network right? We'll need to proceed with caution, especially if we try to force our way in." He knew he was stating the obvious, but he couldn't think of anything else to say, considering the massive, massive ship.

"We'll have to deal with them when we arrive at that situation, we could try to upload various VI's into it's system, try to get them to take control from the inside, this will require access to ship however." Matry suggested, the Thanatos finally finding a incredibly large docking system, capable of holding Titans like they were Frigates. It seemed to have been protected by a large energy barrier, instead of a standard hanger door. "We'll have the Thanatos dock inside the hanger, we can hook up the Harmony core to create a barrier over the opening, there we can hopefully create a habitable area, that will be our basecamp.. This thing will take years to explore by foot.." Matry muttered, his hands shaking slightly as he stared at the ship. "Whatever species had the technology and the resources to build this..they were terrifyingly advanced."

"Whats even scarier is...What could have killed 'em off, right?" Seth said, making sure all of the equipment would be ready. He had to make sure they'd have enough weapons, armor, ammo, ect, so he was looking over the data from a few holographic displays and such. He wasn't doing it by himself, of course, and had many personnel helping him make sure they'd be ready.

Flash.

It was almost as if the darkness of space was not enough for this feat of engineering. The ship was certainly huge... But the architecture style was unlike anything the Archive would have ever encountered. As if this race had no influence with the other prominent races of that time to influence its design... It was completely unique. And huge.

The ship's form was now radiating light, an automatic defense procedure. Radiation was quickly spreading throughout the area.... The computers of the Archive ships suddenly became overwhelmed with incoming data, seemingly bypassing channel requests and inputting directly. What were they inputting? It was a warning of some sorts, in a foreign text style, only distinguishable by the giant, red, flashing symbol in the middle of the screen.

A few minutes later, the data, having tapped into the Archive language databases, quickly translated into the most prominent language of the Archive ships. The message was displayed, and it was simple...

A few moments after the display was complete, something miraculous began to occur. All over the ship, it seemed one system in particular was firing up. Millions of... thrusters. Millions of thrusters spread out over different sections of the ship began to fire up and, very, very slowly, the ship began to move away from the Archive ships.

The radiation was rather harmless to both of the ships, as both their shields were up.

But as the data connected with the Archive ships it created a pathway, a pathway that the Archive VI's quickly took advantage of, connecting with the ship's own systems and within a few moments they had gained a small foothold within the ship. From there they sent basic viruses intent on causing the ship's defensive systems to shutdown, they viruses themselves weren't much to look at but the sheer number of them have been known to overwhelm entire planetary networks.

"Ity! Have the VI's shut down the ship's propulsion and defense systems the moment they have access!" Matry exclaimed, rather transfixed on the massive ship as it flew slowly away, the Thanatos easily keeping pace.

The viruses met some kind of data firewall of some sorts, the induvidual terminal used to transmit the data originally to the Archive ships being cut off from the network before any viruses could get through and the security of the terminal being launched. The data packets sent to the supertitan not only being isolated on a blank storage unit plugged into the terminal, probably having been left untouched for centuries... But that storage unit began to spread the virus back to the Archive ship.

The thing? It wasn't using any known technique of transferring data. It wasn't even sending the data through any form of a network. It was sending the data by using high frequency waves which would naturally be picked up not by Archive computers, but directly by Archive communication systems. The viruses was being sent to the Archive ships in a completely different way, and in a one-way kind of deal where the Archive wouldn't be able to reflect the viruses as it was sent in the form of frequency waves.

The viruses first began to effect the communication systems on Archive ships and then began to spread. The Dama Supertitan, meanwhile, only continued to increase in speed.

The viruses however immediately deleted themselves, being programmed to be unable to actually infiltrate Archive systems, it was basic protocol. After running thousands of tests in an incredibly short time from the VI's shut down the Archive's communications array, now relying on QEB technology, which was actually a more efficient way to communicate between the two ships. "Seth, we can't just let this ship get away, far to much of a find to let it slip through our fingers. I'm going to dock with it." Matry informed, the Thanatos speeding up and rather easily landing in the ship's hangar.

"Release some Engineer-Wardens, get them to set up small barriers around the ship that will provide a habitable area, only up to fifteen-hundred feet though." Matry commanded, the small orbed robots being released and getting to work.

The ship responded in a grand way... Special coatings of some sorts began to surround the room... To make everything outside the room in question, including ship systems, resistant to Electromagnetic Pulse effects. A few moments later, a field of some sorts began to spread out inside the barrier... In a few moments, it would create an EMP.

"The ship is charging a powerful electromagnetic pulse, the Thanatos should be able to withstand it easily, but the Wardens will be rendered inoperable." Ity reported, Matry sighed as he stared as at the second by second scan reports. "After the EMP is out send out a few men in GR-armor, equip them with a EMP shield, it will take longer to get it set up, but it'll work."

A few moments later, the Electromagnetic Pulse occurred, effectively killing the bots. Temperatures began to rise in the room dramatically as well and atmosphere began to be vented.

When the EMP went off the men in GR-armor set out and started to set up a barrier that allowed for a four hundred feet habitable area around the Thanatos, the armor both air-tight and able to withstand an incredible amount of heat, thanks to the multiple sinks on them.

The entire room seemed to shake as that docking bay began to be detached from the rest of the ship. Literally.

"The ship is detaching the docking bay." Ity announced, Matry nearly choked as he heard the news. "Are we in any direct danger?" He asked, the holographic form shook it's head slowly, giving a slight shrug. "Not likely."

The Thanatos didn't move as the docking bay was detached, however the soldiers had gotten back inside safety, being beamed back aboard. "The ship has successfully detached the docking bay, we're now removing ourselves from the bay, we can collect and analyze it at a later date, the majority of the ship is the goal." Ity informed, the Thanatos quickly and easily escaping the bay, being small enough to.

When it got back out it quickly kept pace with the super-titan, finding a place large enough for the Thanatos to land on, which would be the large hole in which the docking bay revealed, if they detached this they would lose a lot of mass.

Scanning...
After a few moments, new data was sent to the Archive ships.

"You have proved your worth. You are people of science. But you are also people of war, and that will be your downfall. We can only hope that you can use the information of this supertitan to your advantage. Learn from it. Learn to rid your war-streak and learn to love. And most importantly, learn to defend yourself..."

A red light began to fill the ship, along with a humming noise. The surroundings of those in the Archive ship began to change... As it was revealed that all of what had just occurred with the hanger deck and what not had been an illusion. All of it had been an illusion. The Archive were still outside the ship, being auto-piloted by the Dama ship so that it could dock automatically.

The Thanatos drifted forward. Those inside would see that the ship was larger than it had originally appeared, the size being unfathomable by human eyes, the size of several suns. Its technology, even on the hull, was eloquent, designed as a masterpiece. It had been the titantic of the Dama, the grand 'unsinkable' ship. Unfortunately, it was not the ship that had been defeated... It was the people.

But there was a difference about the ship now that it had deemed The Archive worthy of entering it. It was lit up, power was running. The supertitan was awakening. The process would take days to complete, but the effects could already be seen as lights began to flash on the hull of the ship, greeting the newcomers like a happy pup which had just found an owner.

The Thanatos drifted towards the nearest airlock, luckily only a few moments away, being pulled into it by the sheer gravity of the massive structure. As the ship got closer to the airlock which was pulling the Archive ship in, it would be visible in large print above the entrance barrier (which the Archive ship would pass right through)...

"Sector MXC."

And below that, the name of the ship was printed clearly in a foreign text which seemed to change, as if it were a computer (even though it looked like it was part of the ship design) to resemble the Archive's primary language.

The ship name was Felicity. The Archive ship was landing in the 1,090th sector of a place that would take years to explore, and even more years to process....

"I'm now even more terrified..but exhilarated." Matry claimed, being one of the first to walk onto the ship, awestruck at what he saw. "Get some Wardens in operation, I want to get them exploring as quickly as possible." He said, thousands of orbs began to slowly fly out form the air lock and begin searching the ship. "Ity, plug into the nearest mainframe, this ship is smart, but lets see if it has any actual intelligence behind it." Matry ordered, a small chip was carried and entered into the nearest terminal.

"Seth, are you getting this? It's amazing, you should beam onboard the Thanatos, we're setting basecamp on the Thanatos itself, we'll be running over this thing for years!" Matry yelled, the biggest smile anyone has ever seen on his face.

As soon as they plugged into the mainframe, the main lights of the ship's surrounding sections darkened, leaving the Archive in total darkness. A few seconds later, lights along the walls began to light up one at a time for a number of lights and then wait... The ship wanted the Archive to follow the lights along the walls, the lights right now leading into the nearest hallway corridor before stopping and waiting for the Archive to follow.

"Record this, for future generations and all that." Matry said, a nearby Warden began visual recording. Following the lights Matry kept looking around like a child in a candy store.

The lights kept leading Matry down the hall. They stop outside a door clearly labeled, "Virtual Reality."

Entering the room with a small group of scientists and soldiers, along with the Warden/Camera, Matry was excited, hoping to understand the ship.

And Matry, the warden, the camera, and the scientists were all inside Felicity... Along with billions of others. They were inside the mess hall, the group in particular sitting together at a table. This was all obviously a result of the virtual reality, but it would slowly become a real experience for the Archive members. They'd feel like they were really there. It'd be so real that they'd be wrapped up in it, all part of the learning experience the ship was giving them.

The Archive Members were now in military outfits of the Dama. They each had face makeup painted around their eyes, wore sleeveless shirts of an odd design which wrapped around their bodies, and wore shorts with some sort of advanced leviboots. They also each wore wristwatches of some design.... They would find that they could interact with the Damans around them.

The ship was showing them something.
