Inside the dimension that was actually a soul two beings appeared, the Lord and Master of the realm. And a pinked haired little girl, who liked to whine a lot.

"Welcome to Nox Hikaru, my little piece of existence." Koty informed, the vast empty darkness that was his play thing. For him to mold and change at whim. "We need to train, for both Lucifer's tournament, and to destroy the Anrufe."

"You really think he'd try to trap me in Hell? Me? The one who's responsible for the rebellion itself? Those demons down there remember who I am, and would gladly throw Lucifer into the farthest reaches of the deepest pit just to see me blink." Koty responded looking at Hikaru.. No, beyond Hikaru. He seemed to not even be looking, a closer look would show that his eyes had begun to degenerate. Like an old man's.

"As long as I attend the tournament nothing will happen, and the best thing you could do would be win that contest." Koty informed, the ground under them turned into what seemed to be black grass. The area above them turned into a Grey sky, with blood red clouds. It was a evil looking dark prairie.

"If you win that tournament I'll suggest that as a reward, you get to ask one thing of Lucifer. Free of charge and repercussions, you can have the agreement of yours thrown away." Koty informed, sitting down into a materializing throne.

"But first, you need to get better."

"What are you? Afraid?" Koty asked, looking at her with an expression of generous amusement. "I guess I'll just have to force you to fight, it seems that is the only way.." He announcing, the black grass that covered the ground began to twist and blow in what seemed to be an unnatural wind. "This is my world, my realm. Here I am myself, here I will make you stronger." The antagonist muttered, the clouds above seemed to just disperse.

With a wave of his hand what seemed to be a large black entity appeared, it was a shadow being. An entity made out of darkness, they thrived in dark places.. And Nox was one of the darkest.

"Destroy this shadow." Koty ordered, the dark being opened it's maw and seemed to vomit black fire. It was unholy fire.. Spreading along the black grass it turned the prairie into an inferno, where fire should of brought light it brought more darkness.

Within moments the mindless shadow was engulfed in flames, screaming a something in a language that didn't involve noise or sound. It was a terrible thing to witness, to listen to shadow scream would throw many minds into the deep waters of insanity. "Interesting.. But not unexpected." Was all that left Koty's mouth, he looked bored.

No.

Not bored, he looked indifferent. As if he was not even there, with his new demeanor and what seemed to be failing eyes anyone with any kind of intelligence would notice something was not right with the God. With a sharp exhale a large gust of wind blew through the dark valley, while it seemed to be just wind the Celestial Fire was effectively blown out like a birthday candle. "It's not enough." Koty announced the ground seemed to shudder with each word that left his mouth, but that was not all. The ground started to shake and tremble, as if there was an earthquake.

"You defeated the shadow being.. Now end this." The God demanded, rising from the ground was Abel.. Or something that looked like Abel, his skin was tinged black. As if he had walked through a burning house, and his eyes. They were not Abel's, that mad man had eyes that would suck you in and reveal the mysteries of reality. These eyes were just dead and glazed over.

"I assure you, it possesses all of that lunatic's abilities.. It however lacks one thing." The God informed, looking at the Phoenix with dying eyes.

"Mercy."

Confused.
Was all Hikaru felt. One minute she had been worrying about dying within in a month, and teetering towards insanity because of it in the process. And the next? She was standing in front of Koty, who she hadn't seen since before the war. And in actuality, hadn't REALLY seen, since Zharael disbanded.
But here she was in front of him now, in what seemed to be a childs nightmare.

With a shudder, Hikaru glanced to around her surroundings. Pitch black. The deepest black possible. And within the air, if you could call it air. She felt something unsettling. It gave the feeling of something wrong, and the more Hikaru tried to focus on what it was, the more chilling the feeling became. Finally giving up, she turned her attention back to Koty who was saying something about the tournament. This brought her back to her senses.

"No." Hikaru responded automatically without giving room for argument. "I will not be joining Lucifer's tournament. I wouldn't trust it if he offered the whole dimensional plane as a prize. He must think us stupid. He starts a tournament, gets us down there for it. And then what? Traps us there? I refuse to fall for it." Her tone was one that made her words seem final. "And as for the Anrufe, last I remember, you went with them and left Zharael. And then after, joined my annoying brother."

Standing thoughtful for a moment, Hikaru pondered over Koty's words. It was tempting, she had to admit. But in the end, the risk was too great. There was the chance that she would lose the tournament. Hikaru was pretty sure she could handle and defeat whoever fought in it. But with it being hosted by Lucifer, there was no guarantee it would be fair and without tricks. In response, she shook her head.

"I still refuse." Hikaru replied, her eyes staring directly at Koty. "For this one, I have no intentions of taking part. Or even watching for that matter."

With a glare at Koty, Hikaru was finally back to her senses. Annoyed at the mortal god now, her hands sparked with the crimson of regular fire. There were many things in this would she couldn't stand, but having someone of higher authority command her, was at the top of that list. As far as concerned she answered to no one, not lord, authority, or even a god. This was also the reason she hated her brothers to the point of obsession. Had the past events not occurred, in her mind they would have been higher in power and authority by rights of the magic they held. At the time, Hikaru couldn't allow that to happen, and her jealousy had left her foolishly open to the trickery of that idiot manipulator.

Through years of hatred after that that, she had searched every magic book, scroll, and item, she could possibly get a hold of. For ages, trying to find a counter to the brats Genesis magic. Finally she had come across the book of Revelations, left behind by the 4 guardians of Erebus, but at the time hadn't known of its origins. Power hungry, and revengeful, and wanting to finish the task she had started, Hikaru had cared not for where the book came from and with difficulty, passed the tests and made the required pact that the book called for. This made her the rightful owner until death.

However, had Hikaru known then, that she'd soon be thrown into fighting a deity, taking care of a god child, and dealing with the attachment of the boy. She probably would have left it alone, and found a different counter. But life was never that easy, and here she was, in front of the very child she had been forced to look after. The child, who now had higher authority.

"Do. Not. COMMAND ME!" She declared, the crimson flames turning a magenta, and then tinting with a lilac.
Sparks of the odd-colored fire began to fly off in different directions, spreading across the black grass onto the unholy fire. When fire met fire, the odd-colored fire prevailed, overtaking the black flames. However, not stopping there, the began to spread towards the source of unholy, the shadowed being that had vomited it.

"You should recognize this," Hikaru stated, her pented up anger gone, now replaced by the calm observance of battle. "I may not be able to completely copy that unique fire of yours, however in attempt, I seem to have made a variant of it of considerable strength. Though not equal, this Celestial Fire should match up against it nicely.

Hikaru sighed. It seemed her getting out of there wasn't going to happen with just defeating one. Now she was forced to battle a minione'd copy of someone she hadn't even met for more than a few minutes. Was this supposed to be a joke or a game? Whatever it wass, she refused to play. With a quick glance at Koty, she materialized a faded page that looked like it had been ripped from a book.

Page in hand, Hikaru began to read off the spell in the chant of another language. As she read, the words themselves began to lift off the page in the form of chains, but of lettering shape. When the spell had finished, the worded chains shot not toward the copy of Abel, but instead at the caster, Koty.
