Re: The Summoners Cometh

Moon-like light began to form into a symbol of heaven near the summoners and their blades began to glow. It was obvious a heavenly being was coming to their location but what was with all the theatrics? Slowly Vailen materialized near them holding two medallions with different stones in them. The first medallion meant for the summoner who had repented first had a golden stone while the second medallion had a silver stone. These medallions would protect them from diseases and poisons of any variety.  “It seems that I have a lot of work on my plate and so I must delegate some of it to you two if you are willing to accept the assignment of course...”  Lines of exhaustion were visible on the face of this angel like he had been very busy dealing with matters.

Looking at both of them with a smile Vailen said to them “Some assignments have proven to be optional but I am just too tired to do most of them. The AME really had a bad effect on me and worse is coming.” said the angel Vailen looking at the summoners.
“Which brings me to the part where you two will be doing an assignment. You will basically be helping these people back onto the path of faith and you will also provide some sort of AAM over this planet while I rest in heaven. Dimensional Storms can be a pain but I am sure you will find a way to stop it.” said Vailen and that was when he stopped talking.

[Zero]

Weary from all of the AME that he had been trying to destroy throughout the dimension Vailen said to both summoners with a yawn. “Here.” At that two amulets appeared, once near each summoner. One amulet was gold with a green stone and the other was green with a silver stone in it. “These will provide you protection from diseases and poisons of all varieties as long as you wear them.”  Looking even more exhausted he said to the summoners. “I am afraid I may have to rest for a while but inform me when you get done with countering this storm. AM is one thing and AME is worse than AM unfortunately for me.” 

Now Vailen took off the ground slightly doing a low level levitation on himself. He looked at both summoners. “Warriors should not go into battle without the proper protections and so....” He held out his hand, two silver 'marbles' appearing in them which he threw at the ground and shot a bolt of light into. Armors for each summoner made to fit their tastes had appeared.  Any magic he did made him more tired than he already was however.

"Now I must head back, but I hope you can handle matters."

The Summoners waved, before tearing off the armor.
"What? Was he kidding? Armor?" Savor snickered. Red laughed in reply.

[Zero]

The air began to become charged with energy as clouds pulsating with AME began to appear in the sky. It was obvious that the first part of what Vailen had told the summoners to do was to eliminate that storm. The storm caused all sorts of natural disasters on Nap and the WH there were all attempting to use barriers to stop the storm from striking them.
Vailen hadn't left however. “The armor was made with AAM properties to protect you from the AME in the dimensional storm.”  He vanished at that moment.

But by the time he spoke they were long gone.
"What is this?" Savor asked, as they floated through the air to reach the atmosphere.
"I have no idea, but Vailen wants us to stop it."
"What? I don't do barriers very well, Red."
"Neither do I. But Vailen wasn't going to make it, so we've got to give it a shot."
"Oh, boy."

[Zero]

Lightning black and cold began to come out of one of the clouds headed straight towards both summoners. It was obvious this lightning would weaken them on contact and so it would be best to take evasive action. A golden shield popped around them courtesy of a warrior human who was attempting to counteract the storm himself.

“Dang it this storm is hard to beat.” said the Warrior Human. His magic was not affecting the storm but it was protecting the two summoners for now.

Savor shouted to him, "Get all of your people! Pool your energy! We've got to stop this!"  The dove through the lightening, golden shield saving them. They each cast small barriers around themselves as they pushed through the atmosphere and into space.
"START!" They shouted, even though sound didn't travel, and joined hands as they tried to form a protective barrier around Nap...

The hope of every warrior human to defend the planet from the storm rose up and converted into power which amplified that of the summoners. All the people were praying the planet would be safe and willing their magic to help protect the planet which it was doing.
