Our Town Of Halloween

"This... is Halloween?"

C2323's awakening had been one of randomness. The last he remembered, he was being cornered by Aralangs. Now he was here. How did that happen? He didn't question it too much, as he was sort of distracted by the decorations reminding him slightly of an old Earth legend.

(OOC: HELL YES, I LOVE YOU K2!)

Halloween was one of five holidays celebrated by the Karmagans.

It also happened to be the biggest. It was celebrated every four months, and was everyone's favorite occasion. C2323 found himself in a very spooky looking stone tower. Dripping candles covered all the shelves, which climbed their way to the top of the tower. Jack o' Lanterns were placed here and there as well. A beautiful girl stood over him, blonde, wearing a short orange dress, and tall brown which hat highlighted with orange.
"Are you okay, sir?" She asked shyly, with a cute, little voice you couldn't help but love.

"I'm... Fine. Where am I?" C2323 asked, looking around at what was around him. He suspected that nobody on this planet knew about technology or even that much about magic. They wouldn't be very helpful to him. He had a goal to fulfill. A mission to complete... And yet...

Life's no fun without a good scare.

No. Human emotions weakened him, he'd found, and he couldn't let hi- no, K2323's feelings interfere with his work. He had to suppress the fact that the decorations here were lovely. He couldn't think about the possible cultures of this world and how fun it would be to interact with them and adopt their culture for a day. He couldn't think about how beautiful the girl in the dress l-

Stop, C2323. You're an android.

"You're on Autumnavia. I wish I could say more... But, I don't remember much. How did you get here?" The girl fussed over him worriedly.

"Get here?" C2323 repeated. He thought for a moment. "I'm not sure. I just... awakened."

Fiona nodded in understanding.
"That's how it was... For all of us. We just woke up. We remembered some things... But." She walked well she talked, grabbing a book from a shelf and flipping through the blank, worn pages.
"But... There's something missing. In all of us."

"No. You're wrong," C2323 announced, reaching out for the book. "Nothing is missing in me, only an uncomplete mission. Once my original is dead, this whole universe will be mine."

Fiona looked confused at him.
"You're not from around here, I can tell..." She reached out to touch him.
"I sense... Evil from you."

The moment the young lady touched C2323's skin, a sudden memory flashed throughout his head.

"K2323... K2323! K2! K2" a young woman was moaning. It was a more intimate moment. As K2323 found himself thrusting in and out in the same motion, a wave of pleasure had built over him. The young couple soon reached a climax in their affair and laid exhausted on their bed... Hand in hand.

K2323 glanced over at his wife. "I love you," she mouthed at him. K2323 smiled back at her and the two simply laid there, together. Their love was pure. It was something real and something which couldn't be taken away. Not back then, anyway. That's how K2323 had felt.

C2323 dropped to the ground, crouching. She never loved you. You're a machine.

"DAMNIT! STOP IT! DAMN CIRCUITS! STOP MESSING WITH MY HEAD!" C2323 yelled.

Admit it. I'm just your subconscious. You know it's true. You're just a cheap copy of her lover... But you're not even that, are you? You're a-

"DON'T SAY IT!"

C2323 smacked the young lady's hand away and threw the book she'd held in her hands to the ground, stomping on it. He then quickly began to find his way down the staircase of the tower he was in. He couldn't let his original's memories influence him. He couldn't be weak. He had to be strong. It was the only way he, a clone, could survive.

You're a monster. C2323's dreams were filled with fright, and his dreams never ended, but he was well awake.

Gary, the defensive broom stick, rushed to her aid as he slapped her hand away, and Fiona screamed, back pedaling as she stomped on her blank book. As he ran, she panted, exhilarated and terrified. She sat under a jack o' lantern, her knees tucked to her chin, as Gary floated over here, nudging her gently.

She thought for a few seconds, mind processing what just happened. At first, she felt repulsed, felt like she never wanted to see him again. But than, suddenly, she came to a revelation.
"He's... Just like me... Lost, unsure of what he is..." She paused for a second, Gary floating helplessly.
Suddenly, she sprang up, shouting,
"I've got to find him!"

She jumped on Gary, and took off through the window, facing a full moon that seemed closer and bigger than Earth's.

Zumi tumbled out of a small hole, having been shot from the Otherworld that she had come from where the Embodiment of Destruction and his followers had been placed. That meant that she was no longer around Vincent and it tore at the seems of the stitches above her heart as her heart started beating slower. She had been away from him for a while now, so she was no longer experiencing the feeling of love. No, now she was feeling heartbreak, a negative emotion, which in turned killed off the thing she just recently earned, and it was her first one, too: love.

So, now she was in the Town of Halloween, sitting there on the ground, her skirt ruffled, her shirt slightly torn up and battered, her face dirty and bruised, her hair a tangled mess, and one of her ballet flats were missing; her entire appearance was dirty and dusty, old looking, like she had been the skeleton in the closet for a health class, only to be brought out once a year.

"Great." was all she said as she looked about the forest she was in, glaringly. She didn't have Vincent anymore, as he had left her to fight and do other things. Or just left her. She didn't really know. But, it didn't change the fact that she was so alone in everything she did now, that the hurt crushed down on her whenever she thought about it, just like when she was alive, living an abnormal and bullied life, and the only person she had a crush on just up and left her as well, never once looking back till after she died, to which he went to her funeral and was one of the rare people to no laugh and attempt to dance on her grave. "Alone. Again." she muttered as she sat there, curling in on herself and pulling her legs towards her midriff so she could hug herself.

Now, she was a Zumi ball of sadness.

Zumi sees a blue Will o' Wisp in the distance, sparkling and twinkling, floating in the distance.

Zumi sniffled and looked up, eyeing the thing in the distance.

A red one appeared, and a yellow one, too. The three colors circled her, forming purple or orange or green lights as they mixed together, twirling around her. Shadows floated like smoke behind her, something was forming behind her.

Zumi curled in on herself further, fear shaking through her as she waited for imminent death. Oh, how that would be nice. Too bad she couldn't die.

The shadows slowly gave way to a Jack o' Lantern headed figure, and the mouth moved as it spoke to her.
"Do not fear... I'm not here to harm you." The Will o' Wisps  came to him and rested at his feet.

Zumi eyed him carefully, cautiously, as she waited for something to happen. When it didn't, Zumi slowly turned towards the newcomer, her eyes traveling up and down his body. "Who are you?"

Jack could take many forms, most of them frightening, but this time was a smoky, shadowy figure, less frightening figure. The pumpkin faded, leaving only the carved grin and glowing eyes.
His voice sounded like at one time, he'd had an accent. But after many years, it had faded to the point where it was barely audible.
"I sense great sorrow in you. Real, and more intense than I've ever seen in anybody before."
He extended a shadowy hand.
"You're lost, right?"

"Lost is an understatement." Zumi didn't seem to mind that he avoided her question, instead she was calm and relieved, the stress seemed to ebb away. "My name is Zumi." she said as an afterthought, her eyes glazed over as she watched the man partially fade away. "And depends on what you mean by lost. I am lost, I dunno where I'm at. I'm also losing my love." Zumi unwillingly pointed to her chest, where the word "love" in cursive was fading away. "It sucks."

Jack stares at the fading word.
"What do you seek, Zumi?"

Zumi shrugged, all of the happiness having gone from her after she had been kicked out of where her beloved boyfriend was. "I miss Vincent." she mumbled, her eyes glazed over again, the green appearing a dull color. "He's gone now, though, and I can't reach him." Zumi's lips puckered slightly before she looked up at the glowing eyes.

The smoky shadows began to spread as his grin faded.
"You have come to... A good place to be with a broken heart."
The shadows envelop her, binding, blocking her view.
"I will take you to a place where you can start again."

As Zumi was enveloped in the cascading darkness, she felt claustrophobia wash over her, but she was far too relieved, far too calm, to let it affect her as much as it would have if she wasn't feeling this, or if she was simply human. However, since she wasn't really "human" so to speak and she definitely wasn't living, and she most definitely wasn't all wired and wound for sound, she just took this darkness like it was a caressing kiss on the cheek as she slowly faded.

Fear not little children,
Don't say a word...
I've come to save you, from a gorey demise.
Come little children, you'll be just fine.

The enchanting chorus wrapped around her like the shadows, and she felt herself lifted off the ground as the song lulled her too sleep...

Zumi was lulled to sleep just as easily as she could walk.
