Actually, no it really isn't, although their abilities may be similar they have a very different backstory and motivation, that's like saying you can't have Rev AND Gen, because you have Rev, which Gen is basically a different gender clone of with a different magic.

He has to kill the person before he can eat them..or at least bind them down if he wishes to eat them alive. Then it goes to an internal battle which me and the eaten dude will have another IC fight in Hound's stomach, if the eaten guy loses then Hound ate his spirit.

That is an OOC reason, but IC if Hound discovered that they existed he would find them a meal all too tempting. Being a mix of many different breeds along with having divine blood he would very much enjoy them.

He'd most likely try to eat a lot of people on this board, starting with the more unique.

Nothing should be off limits because off how much you're afraid of how good the person is, spirits are not indestructible, they can be destroyed, they can have natural predators, and they aren't off limits just because you say so.

I disagree. If you go by IRL, the soul is immortal, you can destroy the body but not the soul in religious belief. So why should spirits be able to be destroyed unless it's by very difficult means that have many drawbacks. (Spirit fire, takes the casters own life energy to use.) Absorbing, they're cursed, or other draw backs. But yours without a drawback? No, again, not happening.

IRL is because we're humans Hikaru, since when have normal everyday humans able to harm or even make any kind of contact with a soul? And the spirit is vulnerable because we understand it to a point, we know that it's the collective experience, personality, and physical existence of a person. And that is unnatural ways of killing off a spirit, Hound is a natural predator, he was born to do this. The basic philosophy of his character is that everything has a natural predator, evens humans had things that preyed on us. Although we beat them in the long run.

Oh alright.

When Hound is attacking your spirit, after he's physically killed you, or is currently eating you alive. You have direct access to his spirit, as you're both technically fighting on the spiritual plane. Meaning you can kill him permanently as well, that is if you win, and kill him. And this has already been there, you guys just never fucking realized it.

It wouldn't, because it's a natural function. Does eating food damage you? Because that's what spirits are to him, food. But eating someone allows for DIRECT access to his spirit, it's why it's so dangerous for him to eat a spirit that is stronger then him. Because it could just kill him, but not just like snap, killed. Would require a spiritual battle, which will be played out as a normal battle, although on the spiritual plane.

It doesn't Red, she just wants to tone down the character as much as possible because she's afraid of me having anything. :/
