Well you know puffer fish is a food. And it can kill you. What you could do is have it that some peoples spirits are like pufferfish to him, or some other potentially poisonous food.

Yes. Eating food can damage you. Rotten meat can make you very ill. Tuna fish can contain mercury, which can be dangerous. Hell... having too much water can kill you. Hell... water fountains at school, for example, have some lead in them, which is toxic. You can overdose on nutrition. Cats can drink milk, but it would cause diarrhea. Drinking salt water would fry your liver and dehydrate you. It can be considered normal for one to drink water, as instincts tell you that it's water, thus you should drink it. Spirits would be on an extreme side of cases.

Well, I have another origin.

Outside of space and time, which includes the dimensional plane. But not quite within the void there used to be a small place where some free floating matter and energy existed, the reason why it was there is quite unknown. But, hundreds of free consciousnesses, entities that had never lived, never existed physically found the place. Greedily hoarding the matter. A few of those consciousnesses went to war with each other for the small scraps of matter and energy, killing each other off till only one remained. The remaining entity was Hound, literally born in war and greed. Hungry for more he entered the dimensional plane, soon becoming the type of "person" he was. Unable to satisfy the hunger he found within himself. More matter, more energy.

For your origin... I might have to say no to that. You're basically making up places, now. For example, I made some Aralang dimensions for myself, but the concept of dimensions has been 100% accepted, and has been accepted for a long time before I made them. This? You're basically making them up as you go along, potentially changing a lot of things over a character. I would think that it would be concept first, before character, otherwise you're just shaping the background stuff of SP by just making a character.

There's parallel universes, but that's NOT because of the Aralangs. I didn't even understand the difference between dimensions and parallel universes a while ago.

When I requested ASEF, the concept on how spirits worked and all was already made.
