I'd like to take a moment to remember those who died nine years ago in the horrific terror attacks on the Twin Towers and the Pentagon.

Seeing the world through a child's eyes is truly a unique experience. It helps you to retrieve that sense of awe, magic and wonder that you lost as you lost your innocence. Tell me, when was the last time that you thought of those childhood dreams? You know, the ones that you used to spend all your time wondering and fantasizing about? Have you forgotten them so easily? Have you forgotten what it felt like to see something for the first time, to see the magic in the mundane? Everyone says you should take the time to 'Stop and smell the roses'. But you should also take the time to look for the fairies, embrace the wind and enjoy the rain. Just once today, stop for a moment and look into that little piece of nature you pass everyday. Perhaps you may see something you did not notice before.

I'm a Brit. I don't need to seek for another flag. If you divide nine by eleven, what do you get? An inside job. America is a disgrace to itself. It's contradicting it's own fucking point. Hell, the point no longer exists in America.

Anyway... respect, to those who have lost their lives. It's sad to see them get killed by something they looked up to.

I may disagree with certain aspects of American society, though I feel Hikaru's post was very disrespectful to the men and women who lost their lives. I'm proud to be an American, by the way. I may not like how its run. I'm still proud.

Personally, I see no point in having nations at all. We'd be better off if we'd just smarten up and band together under one single banner, completely doing away with all the current ones. Every. Single. One.

The concept of multiple nations is outdated and stupid. It only causes war and useless political intrigue, and if we keep on with it, our own self-genocide. Nations and their borders mean nothing to me, only the people living within them.

Their deaths were caused by massive amounts of stupidity on all sides of the human race, and unless we, as a species, smarten the hell up and band together as one, their deaths will forever be in vain.

That may eventually happen, Nisorin, but the UN is a starting point for the goal.

And Hikaru and Gaser, I lived in England for a good nine years before my parents moved to America. I lost my friends and other family, but I found some new ones in the US. I don't agree with a lot of crap in America's society and there are plenty of hypocrites, but  no more than in any other nation.
I'm proud to be both a Brit and an American.

Just... respect those who have lost so much. And their beliefs.

Save your political beliefs for another day, this isn't about what you beleive, it's about honoring the men and women that died due to a direct attack on our home. I hate how so many people our losing sight about 9/11, and just spout bullshit instead of actually remembering what happened, how firemen and other heroes gave their life to save the few that could be feasibly saved. And how so many innocent people died in those towers.
