Zere found himself being encased in rock. His seal rain had managed to seal away many of the new skeletons before Montreal had created a barrier. Zere, then, quickly ended his sealing rain. Zere then began to push force against the rock as small spheres of ice phased from his palms into the rock. He was freezing the rock with Sealing Ice, forming it into a sort of barrier for himself...
Anyone who tried to attack him would have to go through a city-block of ice first, and anything which touched the ice was sealed within it.
From within the block of ice, Zere began to weave his next spell. He barely had enough room carved in the ice for his mouth to move. Still, he managed to chant his first incantation of the spell. It was simply made up of two words. "First wall."
A wall made of a brick-like material began to form, in a straight-line, vertical, lining the fighting area. One wall down. Three to go. In the middle of the street outside the ice, a mask of some sorts appeared. The mask was half-white, half-black. It had all sorts of lines and decorations running up and down it.
Many doves hovered above the fighting area now. They did not attack. They merely watched the battle below them, as if they were simply spectators for the moment. A green sort of energy began to form around the pidgins as they made some sort of circle-shape. The entire circle was green, with the doves bordering the circle itself. Inside the circle, there were two twigs from a sort of tree. One twig pointed up, and the other pointed down.
...It was a clock.
Now, the street's physical makeup was changing as well. As was the sidewalk's. It all seemed to be changing into some sort of copper floor -- all across the fighting area. On the copper floor, there was a design. It was a man and a woman... Sitting at a coffee table. This attack was very complicated. And this was only the first stage.
The buildings of that area of the city began to change as well. Buildings on one side of the street would turn red, buildings on the other side would turn blue, and at every street corner, a building would alternate between being green or yellow. But the yellow buildings were different... If one were to stare at it long enough, they'd find it to be very bright. As bright as a star.
Seemingly separate from that attack, the ice block also began to sprout ice-hands which, ever-connected to the block of sealing ice, each reached out, one towards Charles and the other towards Montreal.
