Out of the Hell Gate, Hikaru walked, back into the grounds of Mortality's Plane's. One glance at her surroundings and Hikaru knew where she was. It was the participants area. It looked like the match hadn't even started yet. So all she could do was wait. But with Gaserlake there? In a normal tournament, people that weren't participants wouldn't be allowed in this area. But then again, this was Hell.

Sighing to herself, Hikaru surveyed the room further, where was everyone? Was this really all that was left? Herself? That couldn't be, she had to have an opponent. And Celesite and Nisorin were back on the mortal plane. But other than that? Was this it? She truly had been a way too long. The once filled tournament, was now down to her, her opponent, and the Lertises.

"Looks like Lucifer is getting his way..." Hikaru mumbled aloud to herself. "Four people left..." Continuing to glance around, Hikaru tried to figure out what happened with each match, where the people would be as of now, who could have won, and who could have lost. Where was Koty? His son, Vincent, Rogue, and his servant? And that Alchemist, just where was he? Wait a minute... "Hold on..." Hikaru looked right and left, rather quickly, trying to figure out something. "Kieth.. he was with Celestie, but then..." Hikaru thought for a moment.

"My father... or ...Kieth... Who could have won, who could have lost...?!" Hikaru punched the closest wall to her. Her fist hitting the material of hell and leaving a light dent into it. "God dammit!" God Dammit, was right. While Hikaru was stick 'playing' with the damn Aralangs and being their prisoner, life was passing by, and she couldn't tell what was going on anymore. The tournament, where people were, everything of the outside world. Dammit, just dammit! Hikaru leaned her head against her fist that was still resting on the wall.

Gaserlake was in awe when he stepped in. He has already seen what it's like by reading Hikaru's memories, but actually experiencing is another thing. He then smelled the scent of the pudding Lucifer left behind. He put his finger into the pudding, and scooped some up, and took a try. This is Hell, so this might be bloody dangerous, but hey, that's a reason WHY he would do it. He took a taste. He liked it and made a satisfied sound. He began eating more of it, while he listened to Hikaru. When Hikaru was done, he was done eating. "Have you tried this, Hikaru?" he asked. "It's really good. It tastes like dead people. You should try this. Looks like Hell has good taste."

Quickly remembering she wasn't alone, Hikaru re-gained her composure and motioned to the chairs of the participants area. "Match hasn't even started yet, this was the participants area, or what's left of them." She pointed to the viewing screens of Hell, mainly the stands it showed as well as empty arena. "That's the audience stands. And..." Hikaru pointed to the cart of Hell pudding, and other Hell treats in the room. "I wouldn't trust the foo-" Hikaru stopped, noticing he was already eating it and sighed, finishing what she was going to say. "...Lucifer may have done something to it..."

Taking a seat on one of the benches, Hikaru looked appalled as she muttered sarcastically to herself, "...I don't think I even want to know how the hell he knows what dead people taste like.."

"Well, I don't see anything wrong with it. Well, you might not like the ingredients," he said. He then smiled. "Oh, at this point, you probably wouldn't want to know how I found that out." He then turned serious. "Oh yeah. Almost forgot. Now that we're in Hell, I can explain to you what I meant back in Aralia just before we came here. I told Leserlake that I might not be back, because you might realize a loophole. I said that you have to come with me and that you have to protect me if I can't survive otherwise. I didn't say that we have to go back to Aralia." He then took it into deep thought. "So... you've got me. You can keep me in here for eternity, while you could just teleport yourself without me. Hell... I didn't say that you can ONLY go to Hell, meaning you can just go anywhere you like."

Hikaru's eyes widened at his revelation, then she quickly looked back at the floor, trying not to let her surprise show. "Then why would you...." She stammered, then looked at him. "Why did go along with it then? You could have added that when you thought of it, but you didn't, why?" Hikaru shook her head, shaking off the shock, as she further thought about it. "Besides.. I'm not stupid. There's still the other one. And even then..." She held her hand up and glanced at her wrist to the metal bracelet hidden beneath the sleeve of her shirt."You'd just try to find me again..." Hikaru dropped her hand back into her lap and sat back against the back of the bench, continuing to stare at the floor.

Gaserlake walked to Hikaru. "The beacons, yes. That's why I brought this," he said as he took out the beacon-remover.

Shock showing once again, for only a split second, Hikaru looked back up to see the device. What the hell? What was going on here? "Again, I ask why," Hikaru replied. "If you figured that out, why did you go along with it instead of adding that in after? Why did you bring that thing?" Hikaru shook her head again, not understanding any of it. "At first, I would think you're letting me go. But then why go through all the trouble of making me bring you? Why continue to add conditions and take advantage of the contract? Why didn't you just rip it up before then if you're letting me go? And why... even allow the contract to be destroyable in the first place?" Hikaru suddenly stood up, and looked him dead in the eyes. "Just what the hell is your game?!"

"I have lived for over fifteen billion years, Hikaru. There has to be a reason why I lived that long. And the reason? I went with life. I went with things. I went with the flow. It's like Chess, if you every played it. You go with things, and then it all lays out for you, as if you planned the whole thing to happen, while in reality, it's just ironic, or coincidence, or an accident, or any combination of the three. It's like adapting to everything. You don't plan too far. You just plan what's going to be immediate." He then smiled. "They say life isn't a game. It may or may not be, but regardless, you treat it like a game, but you don't just stupidly waste your life away. I've learned all of this the hard way, Hikaru. You've got the easy way of learning. Next step it to actually do it."

Hikaru's glare narrowed as he explained, and she looked downright pissed off when he had finished. "Don't tell ME life is a game!" She snarled. "I saw my family die by my own blood stained hands, manipulated by someone I thought was a friend. I killed countless because I was led to believe I had to. I ripped my brothers lives away from them, and tore our family apart. I spent years with the guilt, and falling deeper into insanity. Yet, you dare stand there, and preach to me to take it like a game?! Fuck you!" Hikaru shouted, throwing her hand out to her side in a maddened gesture. She lightly shook with anger, as every inch of her vibrated with her frustration.

"I don't play games. Someone tries to control or make a pawn out of me? I'll break that control. Fate and unforseen occurences, these may be what leads us to do the things we do, and the actions we commit. But my brothers and I are outside of that. We've lived through things we shouldn't have! We've learned things we shouldn't know, done stuff that should have been impossible, and been a part of things we never should have been in the middle of. We've played with death, cheated Lucifer, partnered with gods, and walked on the sides of embodiments! And still, we listen to no one. Fate? We are no pawns. WE DEFY FATE!"

Going silent, for a few mere seconds, Hikaru calmed down enough, to continue. "Fine, try to play your game, try to act like you influenced my actions like a controlling force. I'll break it and do the opposite." Sitting back down, Hikaru crossed her arms and closed her eyes. "I WON'T exploit the loophole."

"Life it tough. Games aren't always fun. And I don't? I must defy fate countless times." He grinned. "How would you know if not exploiting loophole is the opposite of what I want?"

That did it. Hikaru looked back up at him, fire surrounding the golden iris of her eyes. "A game not being fun, would be something simple as a small loss. But no, my life wasn't a fucking game. We went through things no kids, sage or not, should have had to go through, and lost ourselves in the end... We may have obtained power, reputation, and the multitude of other things we are known for, but what the hell good is that, if we lost our normal lives in the process?!" Hikaru stopped, lowering her eyes, she quickly realized that in her anger she had blurted out every feeling she had towards the things that happened, admitted her real opinion on matters, and let slip the false act she put up. Well, it was too late now.

"Again, don't tell ME life is a game." Hikaru looked away, attempting to calm herself and forget what she had said. "I'm not doing the opposite of what you want. Obviously you want want to return. But with what you said, you're following what happens, which would be exploiting the loophole, according to MY personality. But because you're doing that, I'll do the opposite and do what you wanted to begin with, but not because you want it, because I refuse to be predicted."

"I never said life was a game, did I? I said to treat it like one. Life is harsh, I know. My parents were killed. What did I do? Play it like a damn game. I went for payback, and I succeeded." Gaserlake laughed. "Predictability. Yes. That's another thing. You have to be unpredictable, so you're hard to beat."

"Shut up." Hikaru's said lowly, as her eyes narrowed. "Just, SHUT UP!" Standing up, Hikaru walked across the room and took the farthest seat away from him, then continued her silence, marking the end of the discussion.

He walked away to the snack stand while he tossed the beacon-removing device behind him at Hikaru. It didn't matter if she caught it, didn't care, or if she even threw it at him.

Hikaru heard the clatter of the device as it fell to the floor and glanced at it. She knew she was going to regret this later, but Hikaru didn't like being controlled. Nor did she like being predicted to the point it seemed like control. Her choices were her own, dammit! And whether he predicted them or not, she was not going to be part of a game! The idea of that annoyed her even more than the damn Aralang's and contract.

Sighing to herself as she thought over her decision, Hikaru quickly made up her mind and formed a ball of violet flames, god fire, in her hand. Taking aim, she threw it at the device, and watched as it burned. Well, it was too late for regrets now.

After trying every type of snacks -- which all were good -- he sat down to the nearest seat to him, which was the farthest from Hikaru. She actually meant it, when she destroyed the device, but it didn't surprise Gaserlake. He already knew by now that she's stubborn. Maybe she'll change her mind later on. He curled up like a cannonball and went into sleep.

Hikaru took one last glance over to him, before returning her eyes to staring at the floor. Well apparently he trusted her.. Since when do you sleep in front of your enemy? Or was this a trick too? Hikaru couldn't be sure, but whatever it was, it didn't matter. She hadn't planned to do anything anyways. ...Or had she? Pointing her finger to the trays of pudding, Hikaru levitated the mess of glop and hovered it over his head, then releasing her hold, she watched as it fell.

Before the reaction started, Hikaru had closed her eyes and entered meditation.

He sensed the tray come over at him, which woke him up, but he didn't move. He didn't bother to dodge the trays and the pudding. When the pudding and the trays fell on him, he got up and shook the pudding off like a dog would shake itself dry. He went back to his seat, curled up like a cannonball and went back to sleep.

Several minutes later as Hikaru meditated, a thin aura of crimson stained gold surrounded her, slowly turning to violet, then back to crimson gold, and repeated that pattern. Her signature began to raise slowly, then quicker. Just like her brothers, it raised ten-fold, to the thousands, the ten-thousands, the millions, and passed that to higher than the normal magic user could conceive. Hikaru's hair stood on end at the power, her clothes rippled, and the energy started to spark and crackle around her. Yet, still her power raised, further and further, as she meditated to surpass her limits, releasing everything. Revelation, Genesis, Phoenix, even her common magic, all of it into one aura of immense and immeasurable power.

Due to the massive magic signature spike, Gaserlake woke up. He looked to Hikaru and saw her meditating. He noticed the aura, which was pretty damn powerful. She was definitely meditating deeply. He then got up and left the room to explore the area.

The aura around her began to pulse ever so slightly as it twisted and warped, changing its shape. The sides expanded outward around Hikaru to form the shape of wings still in aura form, the bottom flowed around her, like the long tail feathers of a phoenix, and the top flowed upwards. Then in an instant, it all converged inward, towards the area of her body that held her soul, and flashed in a small spark of light that radiated her signature all throughout Hell, then it was gone. Hikaru's body collapsed where she had sat, falling across the seats in a deadened like sleep.

Gaserlake detected the magic signature anomalies. He went back to check on what was happening. "Oh, for fuck's sake, Hikaru!" he said to himself after he found her lying on the bench. He checked to see if she was okay. No pulse, no breathing. Seems like she died... in Hell? It doesn't really make much sense. If this was suicide, Hikaru's a bloody hypocrite. "Oh, no no no!" Gaserlake said. He reached for a device and took it out.

It was a medical device that does CPR. He pulled her left sleeve up, strapped the device around her, and activated it. It sent signals to the heart and the lungs to operate. At the same time, it would monitor the progress. "Shit!" Gaserlake cried out after the device showed that no progress was being made. "Fuck! Fuck! Fuck!"

Appearing quietly behind Gaserlake, Asura floated in the air, sitting sideways on her staff with her feet hanging off it, like a witch would hang from a broom or ledge. One glance of the area, told her she was in Hell, and another glance to to the ground, and Asura blinked it shock at the scene before her eyes. "What did you do to her?!" Asura demanded to know, promptly jumping off of her staff and landing behind Gaserlake.

Gaserlake turned around to see Asura, a bit nervous, even a slight state of panic was heard in his voice. "I didn't do anything! I went out, came back in, and saw her like this!" He went down and removed the failed device. "Does it make sense to die in Hell?"

"Only if Lucifer kills you." Asura replied in a perfectly normal attitude, as if it was an every day thing. Asura cocked her head a bit and looked to Gaserlake, then to Hikaru, then back to him. "She's not dead. Her timeline is still vibrantly aglow, that's how I found her. But what the hell were you doing to her just now? I come back to give omen, and I find you using technology on the very person that would kick your ass for doing so." She gave him a look of skepticism. "Do you have a death wish?"
