Blarg...
« on: October 17, 2010, 12:07:35 AM »
So, I've been gone the whole day, as you may know. Why? We went to the Rowan County fair. We took a train.
About the only good part of the day, too.
The fair was complex in its layout, and there was only one real roller coaster(if it could be called that...Didn't even wake me up...), and by the end of the...Oh...Six hours, maybe? trip, my feet were demanding I sit down or they'd quit. We left at around 7 to get to the train station, got there at around eight, then left soon after. Something like that. We were supposed to get back on the train by 4:42, but the train didn't even get to the park until 5:00, so meh. The train ride was only supposed to be around 2 hours. Seeing as my luck held true to form, at basically ten minutes from the station, the engine breaks down due to a electrical problem, and since it was a problem with the power supply, this forced on the air brakes. It took around three hours to get a freight engine(or something along those lines) to tug us over to the station, and I think the only reason people didn't walk was because the area the engine broke down, on both sides was a pretty high drop off.
Be that as it may, it was STILL more fun than the fair, being trapped in a train with only auxiliary power and lights and stuff. Even after my DSi died. Anyways, by now, its literally midnight, and Im just getting online. If it weren't Saturday, my mom would be murdering me for this...But she said she'd let me be online late a few days ago for today, and she's keeping her word, so yay.

Dear god. The Woods has kicked my ass tonight. It's now 2:00 AM. I just got home ten minutes ago. I've partially lost my voice, discovered a very mild allergy to latex on my face, cannot stand for more than a minute straight. My eyes hurt from the blacklights and strobe lights, and I am, for the first time in quite literally ten years, freezing fucking cold.

Sorry everyone, but there's no way in hell I'm gonna get anything done tonight. Took my five minutes to type just this, my hands are shaking so damn bad.

Figured this would be a good place to post this. Later all.
Seeing the world through a child's eyes is truly a unique experience. It helps you to retrieve that sense of awe, magic and wonder that you lost as you lost your innocence. Tell me, when was the last time that you thought of those childhood dreams? You know, the ones that you used to spend all your time wondering and fantasizing about? Have you forgotten them so easily? Have you forgotten what it felt like to see something for the first time, to see the magic in the mundane? Everyone says you should take the time to 'Stop and smell the roses'. But you should also take the time to look for the fairies, embrace the wind and enjoy the rain. Just once today, stop for a moment and look into that little piece of nature you pass everyday. Perhaps you may see something you did not notice before.

No, I saw that first, though the different video games I hadn't.
And to be fair...Actually, XANA has been in a few Code Lyoko video games(obviously), so actually I started it. :D

Well, if you REALLY want to get technical... Code: Lyoko was originally a literary work, which was then adapted into the cartoon in France, translated to English, and games were finally created from it.

Hence why every episode of Code Lyoko has a bit during the opening theme noting that it was based off a literary work by the creator of the series.
