Okay, welcome. A bit of an intro to just what this is... This will probably be the only OOC topic here. The rest of this forum will be entirely in-character. Basically, you'll be partaking in a group lesson of training in the fictional "K Dome" under the premise that you are a young, inexperienced trainee. You will be interacting with other students as well as instructors. For more info, PM me.

Please post the character you will be using for this course. At the moment, I'd like to limit everyone to one character. Thank you. If you'd like to be an instructor, there is a form for that later in this post.

Biography: Those who commit crimes are seldom ever forgiven. Such is the case of Lord Montreal and that stigma passed onto his son. Realizing that no one would help him train his son he decided to send him to the K-Dome to learn the basics. At least that way he could be assured his son would be taught how to perform magic.

At his age, he should be a much better magician than he currently is, and to solve this, his parents have forced him into this intensive class, hoping to break his habits.

Name: Lenega Arlock

Age: 14

Gender: Male

Biography: Lenega, part of the famous Arlock family, was sent to the K Dome as punishment for destroying a prized family heirloom, a magical divine crossbow known as Acktarlamanock; which was once said to have shot a bolt through the infinite darkness of space and created all of the stars that inhabited the night sky (and having a worth of quadrillions in credits.).
His punishment was banishment from the family, and they had decided he should spend the rest of his life as a lone child until when he grows of age to take over the Arlock family. Until then, they decided that Lenega should attend the K Dome to learn respect, dignity, and chivalry, and pick up a few fighting moves along the way if he ever failed to truly grasp these things (So he could serve as a body guard for his young brother when he came of age.). Their real reason for banishing him was just to get him away from them. They couldn't stand to even see his face.
Little did they know that it wasn't Lenega who broke the Acktarlamanock, but his much younger brother, Almanon.
Lenega himself is very clumsy, and can't handle even the simplest things by himself. He also is known to be quite frail, and sort of a spoil sport who doesn't know how to have fun. He is very clueless on even the simplest things of the world, and lived a very sheltered life. But secretly, beneath his cluelessness and clumsiness, he yearns to be like everyone else. Even if that meant to lose who he was as a person forever.

I'm gonna use a recycled character idea that's been modified for SP.

Name:Naki (Naw-kee)
Age:13
Gender:Female
Biography :
"Holier than thou," Or so the Summoner's Order that Naki belonged to, believed.
Naki was... to be blunt, kicked out of her order for being a failure. Daughter to one of the high summoners of the order, she was expected to hold great power. Fate (term not embodiment) didn't agree. She turned out to be the worst summoner possible, upsetting the elements, always being bullied by inanimate objects, and having a Spirit Guide that looks down on her; Naki never seemed to catch a break. She didn't mean to do any of these things, but the harder she tried to get better, she seemed to just do worse.

At that point, her parents would just encourage her to try harder, and basically piss off her teachers by telling them they weren't teaching her right. With this kind of pressure, it only served to make Naki try harder, resulting into even worse disasters.

Finally the Order had, had enough. They upgraded her to some bogus title of journeymen summoner and sent her on some absurd quest, claiming that if she ever wanted to be higher up in rank she had to learn other magic types, knowing full well she'd just fail at those too. But Naki being the airhead she was, outright believed them and found herself at the K Dome as her first stop.
Personality:
Dim-witted, air-headed, klutz, that would be the words to describe Naki.
As present in her history, she has the annoying ability to mess up even the simplest of things, and always ends up failing. She can turn an easy task, into a hair-ripping-out disaster. Despite this, she retains a kind, innocent, goody-two-shoes demeanor and a unfaltering will to succeed. She see's the world as kind, and no evil in a person, and enjoys to talk A LOT. Despite her downs, she's always up and perky, and unfortunately very gullible.

Other: Naki has a cat familiar/spirit guide named Zeeke. Zeek is all white with bright green eyes, and the most sarcastic personality for a cat possible. He hates Naki and complains constantly as to why he got stuck with such a ditz for his master. He also tries not to talk to her unless it's to insult her. He'll talk plenty to others though, although most of it is to insult Naki.

Biography:
Somewhat shy and very dark, but with a kind heart, this small girl always watched everyone from the side lines. Her brother, Leonardo, was a great well known alchemist who disappeared when he boarded a ship to an unknown land that was rumored to be over populated with great masters of alchemy. Her mother and father died in a terrible accident when their attempt to resurrect a great but murderous alchemist went wrong. So she finally mustered up some courage to return to society (since she was always hidden away in her room, reading about alchemy.) and enroll herself in school.

Biography : Leeroy is the heir to the wealthy Wowkreen family. Raised to be a complete and utter fighter, he of course fails at any and all tactical approaches, and military exercises. Seeing as just about everything else failed so far, he was sent here, the K dome for help. Lots and lots of help.

Appearance: Equipped with his armour of ascending justice *made of cardboard* and his sword of eternal flailing *made of breaktanium*, Leeroy is of medium height and stocky build, and has short black hair, almost shaved. His eyes are green and almond shaped, and he often looks like he's squinting when he's not. *Its said he's thinking of a battle plan for every encounter*

Biography: Cynthia, an old class mate of Leroy, was part of an average family. She was raised with basic training skills (but completely insufficient and behind for her age), and is good at following orders (when she wants to). She has fun messing with people, witch the instructors dislike. Most of the other trainees find it amusing. A good example of this is a time they were playing capture the flag when she told him that if you run out into the open and get the flag all while singing the national anthem, he'd get a chocolate bar.

Biography: A runaway, Lyra's life has since been filled with her music. Performing on street corners, in bars, nightclubs, for parties, and anywhere else she feels her songs will be appreciated. Her parents still search for her, and she still evades them. She's traveled a great deal of the Era Valley, hearing rumors and heresay regarding the affairs of the mortal realms. Deciding to bring her music to the supposedly magically ignorant mortals, she stows away in an expeditionary team headed into the realm.

Her first experience with real battle came in the form of a skirmish upon their arrival. She discovered guns and swords. It was, admittedly, a small battle, only twenty people altogether, but it has stuck with her ever since. This was four years prior.

One year ago, she decided to learn to protect herself, feeling it a far better path than to rely on the often unreliable bodyguards she was able to afford with what little she had. And so, she came to the K Empire, and enrolled herself in their Academy.
