Semi-Finals: C2323 vs Celestie
« on: October 18, 2010, 05:58:52 PM »
Nisorin would now be facing whoever won this next match between C2323 and Celestie. The cyborg awaited patiently on the floor of the tournament as they called out Celestie's name and sent out a call to her magic signature. He'd just gotten done wiping Hikaru out of the arena. What awaited him next was unknown.

The center of the arena distorts, as if something was grabbing and pulling at the space. With a burst of force, the spot explodes in a veritable hailstorm of tiny pieces of energy shrapnel. When the dust clears, Celestie stands before the cyborg without her sword or shield. She steps back to her place on the opposite side of the arena, wearing nothing more than a thin, loose-fitting white gown reaching down to her shins. "A shame. I had hoped Hikaru would be standing in your place. No matter. You're too easily manipulated for us to allow you to win." She says, looking up to the VIP area before settling her gaze back upon C2323. "You have lost control over yourself and your own fate. You no longer serve any purpose, you no longer have any worth. Make this quick and go run back home."
Seeing the world through a child's eyes is truly a unique experience. It helps you to retrieve that sense of awe, magic and wonder that you lost as you lost your innocence. Tell me, when was the last time that you thought of those childhood dreams? You know, the ones that you used to spend all your time wondering and fantasizing about? Have you forgotten them so easily? Have you forgotten what it felt like to see something for the first time, to see the magic in the mundane? Everyone says you should take the time to 'Stop and smell the roses'. But you should also take the time to look for the fairies, embrace the wind and enjoy the rain. Just once today, stop for a moment and look into that little piece of nature you pass everyday. Perhaps you may see something you did not notice before.
