Times were growing tough for the Narrikians. Settling down on any world might no longer be possible thanks to WWB because Zere had singlehandedly slain 2 of their worlds so far. Still though on the off chance there was hope, Rezick was willing to try deceit as his last option.
Sadly he realized he would have to give up leadership of his people to Zere unfortunately. As Zere was the more capable battle strategist, it would be only fitting if Zere was the one leading the Narrikians from this point. Carl however was still freelance and perhaps could conquer Zere with the aid of his book later on.
So a transmission was first sent to Carl. The transmission however was made to be heavily encrypted. In short if you weren't carl you weren't getting your hands on this transmission or what it said to any who dared read it.
