The Warning
« on: October 21, 2010, 03:36:07 PM »
A Jabra-class Corvette appeared in the atmosphere, it's immense sensor array launching a message that would be received and transmitted by every device on the planet.

We are the Worlds Without Boundaries. We are an organization that seeks peace and understanding, and the union of this Shattered Plane. We wish to negotiate with you, Mechera, you are a sophisticated and admirable race. But first... A warning. Release the Narrikians  from your grasp, cut all ties with them, or you will face the same... Disciplinary actions. Until we meet again.

With that, the signal halted and the Jabra jumped away.

A Isolation Engine went online as soon as this ship, which was not detected as friendly from the Mechera IFF database. Thus, it wasn't obviously a friend...And so, they wouldn't want it to leave, yet.

And what have they done to deserve your wrath, per say?

The transmission came from a moon, seeming to be a artillery outpost. However, it seemed that its plates were moving...And formed a eerie smile, as well as two eyes. The smile was a dark one, as if it were sinister, but the reality was not that...Just the Mechera's Sub-Titan identifying itself to the visitor.

Why so quick to leave? Come now, stay a while...No reason in just coming and going, without a bit of small talk, now is there?

OOC:I think Im gonna make the captain of the 1st Legion be a liiiiitle creepy, or whatever thats like. He's a nice guy, but...You know...XD

But it was too late. The ship was long gone with nothing to restrain it.

OOC:The barrier was set up as soon as it was detected...It takes a little bit of time to send the message...First sentence, the Isolation Engine went online, encasing the whole planet...

OOC: It was in the planet's orbit, not in it's atmosphere or on the planet itself. Before, it used it jump drive.

OOC:I know...None of the facilities are on-planet. Everything's in orbit as well, since its a Gas Giant. And Isolation Engines are designed to cover entire spacial battlegrounds, or surround the entire fleet if needed...sometimes more than one Titan, though that'd strain them if only one was used. In any case, it'd extend into orbit...

The corvette struggled to exit, but realized it was a trap.

A narrikian on board the Mechera ship told the pilot of the death of 71 narrikians at the hands of WWB and how these men were responsible. The four had been the ring leaders of the group and had been killed by an ambush, in order to make sure they stayed dead. "So as you can see we are not guilty in the least for this. If anything we were justly provoked."

OOC:HAwk, there wouldn't be Narrikan's here. This is a Mechera-only outpost, currently, with only a few Aralangs possibly for trade.
"To be fair, you all struck first, from what we understand. You have performed terrorist actions upon our planet Nap. And Im afraid I cannot understand what you mean, exactly. In our own culture, there isn't really any 'cowardly' tactics when it comes to war, aside from attacking your allies. As far as mercy goes, that is only extended to civilians...You'll have to explain this to us."

These operatives had been assigned only to message duty, but their leader was a diplomat, and the WWB had tried to be on friendly terms with the Mechera for a while.
"May we meet in person?"

"We shall meet you in a ship. These stations are civilian, mostly, and...Well...I wont lie, we are wary of you. I cannot meet you myself, since this ship, as you might imagine, requires intricate precision, even for us. However, I shall send along a few diplomats, with a police escort." Was the transmission sent back, and a Gunship-class frigate was sent in their direction. While this was indeed a combat vessel, it was one of their few frigates in the dimension, and a ID-Gate would take a while to open. It went to them, but made no hostile actions, instead pulling along upside the WWB vessel, and docking.

A single men greeted them, dressed smartly in a ceremonial military uniform. The small crew of the ship were about their business. He smiles at them.
"Greetings, Mechera. I am Zak Spark."

A Mechera diplomat, with two guards armed with Sound Cannons(obviously the weaker arm-version, not the massive siege weapon of the Mechera), met him. As a Mechera, his physical body(which he wasn't bound to in any way) was humanoid in form, though obviously not organic by any means. a Model-F, it seemed feminine, which it was. This exact Mechera was of the closest they can get to having 'females', but I digress. The head was comprised purely of a eye sort of thing, though it also emitted light and...Eh...You know, Im not good at describing them, since Im terrible at describing their heads well...And the rest of them, for that matter, so I'll just say the truth. They look like Geth from Mass Effect, with select differences when stated. XD
"Good morrow, Spark. A interesting name, given the circumstances. My name is Xlortekra. Though...since it seems other species sometimes have trouble pronouncing our names, why dont you just call me...Hm...Jenny'll do. So then, what is it you wish to discuss?" She said, following him inside. Her voice, like all Mechera, didn't seem to befit a machine, instead seeming more like a organic's, though it was synthesized by the body. The two guards followed, looking around. Their flashlight-eyes shone the color gray, indicating in their culture a curiosity of sorts. They hadn't been in any ships like these before, and being machines themselves, it fascinated them...Though these soldiers were more out of a passive sort. The diplomat's eye shone blue, a neutral color, indicating absolutely nothing to another Mechera.
