"YOU'RE LYING!" Hikaru shouted again in repeat. The tears continued to pour and her body trembled violently as she started to lose composure. Hikaru could feel every inch of her being start to come undone. Outwardly she was a wreck, and inside, inside her magic was doing its best to fight against the blood from Plex.
But Hikaru did not care. Let it consume her, let it take her powers. If it didn't, the heartbreak coupled with the loss and despair now felt, would. Maybe both together could just swallow her up, and never let go.
It was as if her whole world had been torn away. Everything she had started to believe in, the things she had come to care for. They had been there, right within her grasp, at the tips of her fingers. And now? They were gone. Just like that, they had been completely ripped away. Just like her freedom, her pride, her dignity, all of it was now, GONE!
This being, Destruction. He had to be lying! First he had claimed Koty not real, just merely a spell. And now he had claimed he could be saved? If both were true, then what was there to save? And her kids? Were they nothing but mere product of a spell as well? Were they even real?
Was anything that had happened in the past years between sealing the being before her and now, real? Had all of it been a false reality, something she had deluded herself to in hopes of atoning for her past and starting over? Was it all a deceptive illusion to cover up the truth? One she hadn't seen till now, when it was too late?
What really was truth? And what did she seek to obtain anymore?
When these questions were finally out;
Hikaru had lost herself.
Her blood boiled as her phoenix powers fought the infection to her DNA. Heat rose within her, caused from the battle between the healing properties of the phoenix flame, and the blood of Plex.
She had abandoned her herself. Given herself to the very emotions she had kept locked away for so many years. She had let herself fall into the weakness of the mortal kind, and she had fallen to the delusions of family, of love.
Love
Hah, what was that, but a mere myth? A deception given for a short lived facade of happiness, if not but for a little a while.
It wasn't true, not for the Tyris family at least. One grandfather was pure Chaos, the other in his wrong time. Their parents? One attempted to kill his own kids, and the other didn't even try to make contact.
Maybe it was a curse. Originating from the joining of Phoenix and Dragon, or perhaps inherited, taken from that damn royal bastard that had started this legacy of bloodshed and heart break. Whatever it was, the Sage Three had inherited it full force.
One brother couldn't keep a girl to save his life, the other lost two wives and turned to the path of perversion with several illegitimate children left in his stead. And Hikaru? She had fallen in love with an illusion from the start.
It was fact, The Tyris family was not meant to love.
Now as her phoenix abilities reinforced themselves with her magic in order to fight off what plagued her, the magic came rushing out of Hikaru in waves, spreading around her as every type she had come to possess mixed into one full forced aura around her.
One last glance at 'Koty,' or Destruction, whoever he was now, and Hikaru choked on her own tears, her voice cracking, "Koty... Whether you're real or not, or can even hear me. Know that I- ...I TRULY DID LOVE YOU!"
All of the emotional pain, the loss, the despair, and the mental exhaustion from the match as well as the events following, all of it, all was released in that last moment of declaration. Joining the flared up magic and accompanying her shout, the aura spread like a beacon as it was released the same exact time as the ice from Plex shattered, creating an explosion of an array of multiple colors.
When the air had cleared, all that remained of Hikaru was an unconscious five-year-old child that fell from the sky.
