Allies or Not? [Closed to Tactical. ]

As much as Xavier hated to admit it, he had to follow the orders of his current boss in order to do what the intelligence corps needed done at the moment in time. For now he would have to serve those idiotic Narrikians in order to keep them in line and under wraps. Tasks such as these would be better suited to diplomats. Yes meeting with other races was not one of his strong suits by any means.  Whoever assigned him this task if he ever met them would have to face him with his sentinel armor on. Thirty of his personal guard were now with him armed with technology that the intelligence corps had just made. Skullsplitter rifles were standard issue for his elite guard. Further they also wore the standard uniforms but so did he and he was the only one equipped with project sentinel.  Taking the ship he had been assigned by the Narrikians, one of their captured ships the model unknown to them at this current time, he was piloting it for the planet Ferarri.  The natives there seemed good with technology and that was something that interested the Narrikians.

So of course they would send someone to scout out the people and see if negotiations could be made. Relying on the Zarethians had been a foolish mistake for them realized Xavier as he piloted his ship. Only so much could be done by relying on others. Most of your life you must act as if you are the only one that mattered. Such was his policy and he had stayed alive thus far so he could assume the policy worked. Still though something had to be said about those who had the kind of courage to retain friends without putting them at risk. Pushing a button he sent a transmission down to the planet Ferarri.  Is anyone there? This is the Narrikian ship, Excalibur waiting for permission to dock.


Hopefully these people would not prove to be hostile but just in case he had a couple more Narrikian ships to back him up. Crusade was one of them as was Absolution. Both ships of course had cloaked themselves by use of magic, namely all the soldiers on board had lent their magic to cloak both ships from most sensors until something could be done. Of course they would need to find a way to fire safely without revealing themselves should the race of this planet prove to be hostile. The crews of both did not like this assignment, they did not like it one bit.

The message was received by a worker at a communications tower and was immediatly relayed to his Royal Highness Ra' Kath.
Ra' Kath was sitting on his throne in his palace, located five miles under the city. He was dressed in a crisp military suit and his face was entirely wrapped in cloth except for two holes for his eyes.
"So, someone has finally taken notice of us? Well it's about time" he said as he pressed a button the arm of throne. Immediatly his personal bodyguards, The Shoggoths as they were called, ran into the room. "Sir, what do you require of us?" the lead Shoggoth asked his master. "I need for two of you to head down to the docking bay meet our distinguished guests" Ra' Kath replied. The leader nodded and motioned for the two Shoggoths on his left to head to the docking bay. "That is all my friend, you may go now" Ra' Kath said to his bodyguards. The warriors bowed and left the room.
Ra' Kath pressed another button on his throne and a view screen appeared in front of him. "This Emperor Ra' Kath, the supreme ruler of Ferrari, I am giving you permission to dock, there will be two of my bodyguards waiting for you when you get there. They will bring you to the Intergalactic Relations Office where we'll be able to talk in private." He pressed another button and the recorded message was sent to the ship. "Assuming we have anythign to talk about"

[Zero]

In order to negotiate successfully one must prove fully ready to do what needs to be done. Courage was something needed and while he had the courage needed, Xavier knew the Narrikians on board did not have it at the moment. So he would go alone to negotiations but be well equipped if there was trouble. No one was going to do any of the things that had been done to the Narrikians to him if he had any say in the matter. Nodding at the transmission he gave the crew permission to descend the ship to the docking bay recommended. Once they had done that he got out of the ship clad in his robes and wearing his project sentinel belt. A skullsplitter rifle was strapped to his back and he had two hand held pistols modified to shoot 5 extra rounds more than normal.

He stood there waiting for the arrival of the people that he was supposed to go with. After all he had a lot of missions for the Narrikians that he needed to accomplish. He had been hired by them to handle things like this. It took skills he guessed to handle the fine art of diplomacy. Where were those 2 body guards promised?

"So where are these guards?"

[Orga the Strange]

The two Shoggoths stepped from behind a pillar and approached the alien.
"Sorry for the wait, we ran into a bit of traffic" one of them said as they came to a stop in front of Xavier.
"You won't need that" the other one said pointing at the gun strapped to his back, "No one will attack so long as we're with you, not that it'd do much good"
"Now if you'll follow us we will escort you to the IRO" the other one said, motioning for him to begin walking.

[Zero]

Well it did not seem to him that he would need  to be prepared at the moment at least and so he ordered two of his guards to hold his  gear for him. It was after all right to follow orders in some situations. But his sword which was a powered weapon was left on him. Also a couple of PAM knucklers had been given to him and he slid those on his knuckles.  "Alright."

[Orga the Strange]

"Good" the lead Shoggoth said as he and the other one began walking toward a large building across from the docking station. The street they were walking along was filled with people who were coming and going to other places on the planet. One of them, a Mercer, looked at the Narikkian oddly before commenting to his friends how ugly it was. "You'll have to forgive them" the lead Shoggoth Fah-Shing said to Xavier "They're not exactly used to aliens as odd looking as you, we don't get many visitors you see." "Ah here we are the other Shoggoth, Azathoth, said as they reached IRO.





(I'm just going to go ahead and give Shoggoth names and then I'll make them characters in a little while)

(OOC : He is a veldorian, just hired by the Narrikians. Use them as NPCs. )

At that moment in time his comm link activated. Over the comm he could hear the voice of his crew. ?Sir, we are being recalled to Zed immediately for a ship upgrade. You are on your own. Remember you can make your own weapons if the need should arise.? Once they said recalled he hung up the comm link as they arrived and nodded at the two Shoggoth.
"So I assume this is where I am to meet him?"

[Orga the Strange]

"Yes" Fah-Shing said "go down to the end of the hall take a left and it'll be the third room on the right" With that the two Shoggoths departed, leaving Xavier on his own.

[Zero]

Entering the room after a bit of meditation, Xavier was much more prepared to handle things like this. Negotiations with a level head were so much easier for some odd reason.  "I have a lot to offer you in exchange for an alliance."

[Orga the Strange]

The room was long, oval shaped, and brightly lit. In the center of the room was a table that traveled the length of the room. At the far end was Ra' Kath but there was something off about him, if one were to look to closely at him they would notice a little flicker that crossed over him now and again. Ra' Kath motioned for Xavier to sit at the opposite end of the table as he said "Well I would hope so, otherwise there would be no point in this conversation now would there?"

[Zero]

The first thing to be done would be to make the deals that would get this race aligned with the Narrikians so that he could say he completed his assignment. Looking over his host he scanned him for a moment. Currently Xavier was unsure of his host at the moment in time. Sitting down in the offered chair he waited for a moment.

But still that was no reason to alienate his host. So he would have to take measures to see to it that he did not alienate his host. Pulling out a couple of blue prints he slid them along with a data disc across the table on some outdated narrikian tech that would give this empire ships.

"You get all of this in exchange for an alliance with the Narrikians. I am not one of them but a business man they hired to make things go smoothly." 

[Orga the Strange]

Ra' Kath looked down at the objects in front of him without moving. They seemed to be a little old but the Smiths could probably fix them up with some guns and more guns and better engines and armor...and probably more guns. "Well this seems all well and good, but what we really need are more resources"

[Zero]

As Xavier took the aforementioned seat he began to think up his options at this moment in time for what lied ahead. Negotiations would need to be done with this person and getting his group to help them would be only step one of what the Narrikians had told him to do. Step two would entail dealing with any threats, chaos or mischief this race could cause. Precautions would be taken later against this race as they had against the Aralangs. But for now things were peaceful and calm and there was no reason for him to get excited. At least he hoped there would be no reason for him to get excited.

Now seated he looked at the person and said to the leader he thought he was talking to at the moment in time. "So, in exchange for these blueprints you will become a weapon producer and armor producer for us. You will help us add more defenses onto our ships and our research stations. Also you will provide us the means to build one in the Kalak without the earth reform coalition detecting us constructing anything there. The plans of the people I currently work for are big. So yeah their plans will need to succeed. In exchange for your assistance we will not only provide you with those blueprints but also with a few genetic experiments made to your specifications."

"And as for your resource problem I think the Narrikians can remedy that as well for permission to use the moon of your planet and convert it into a research and listening station in this galaxy."

[Orga the Strange]

Ra' Kath had no problem becoming a weapons producer for these people...at least not at the moment.
So he simply nodded and said "Why certainly, I promise you that our creation will be of the highest quality" He smirked (Or at least he tried too, it's kinda hard to smirk when your face is tentacles) creating a slight rustle beneath his face wrap. Another odd little flicker crossed over him.

[Zero]

Holding out the contract Xavier smiled. This would be an easy thing for him to get accomplished and so far his task had gone off without a hitch. All that was needed now was the signature of this person on the contracts and he could be on his way to deliver those contracts. As for raw resources a dozen or so cargo ships, frigates belonging to the Narrikians had arrived courtesy of him sending a signal to them so that they would arrive. "Well this just about concludes our business. All I need now is your signature on those contracts and permission to turn your moon into a listening station for the Narrikians so they have eyes and ears in the Kalak."  The ships sent a single transmission.
Permission to unload our raw resources once the document has been signed?

[Orga the Strange]

"You want to do WHAT to our moon?!" Ra' Kath slammed his fist down on the table strangely making no sound. "The moon is an extremely important part of our culture!" He reached his hand out for the briefest second one could almost make out a large red button before he pulled his hand away, shaking his head.
"Now, if you want to make a listening station that is fine but it must be made from scratch and far away from our moons" Ra' Kath settled back in his chair the flickering increasing slightly before dying down.

[Zero]

The earth reform coalition would be a very big problem that would require new measures to deal with reasoned Xavier. The moon of the Smiths would simply not do for them to use as a listening station. But what other choices were there at the moment in time."The reason we needed your moon was because it already existed in this space and thus the current owners of earth would not be a problem to handle if it was something that already existed. Of course with advanced enough cloaking tech we can make it to where such a station would be hard to detect."A modified contract appeared in his hands stating the new terms and he slid it across the table once more to Ra?Kath. "My name is Xavier by the way."

"And now all that is left is for me to be on my way. I have other empires to talk to as well and a very busy schedule to keep." 

[Orga the Strange]

Ra' Kath smiled (Again kinda hard to really smile) and said "Thank you, now all I need is a pen" as a pen came into existence beside his head. "Ah magic, what would we do without it?" he continued as the pen floated down to the paper and began to write in some odd language consisting of loops, diagonal lines and dots before disappearing. "Well I believe that that concludes our business Mr. Xavier" he said as the contract rolled itself up floated towards Xavier.

[Zero]

"One last thing." Xavier pulled out the blueprints for the listening station. Knowing the Narrikians could not at this moment risk a war he said to Ra'Kath. "I will open to you a pocket dimension of raw resources. In exchange you will construct the listening station near earth and include magical sensors. Somehow it must look like you built it and not the Narrikians. A war would be bad right now as they are in the midst of preparations for something. " Putting the blueprint on the table he took the contract and pocketed it and smiled a genuine, and not a fake smile. At least now there was one less world to visit. "Now I am off to Elemora. I would like to take a couple of your soldiers to see if their armors can hold out against the ones used by the Narrikians."

[Orga the Strange]

"Yes yes yes, we'll be very careful and sneaky while building it" Ra' Kath said as he had all the blueprints teleported to the Chief Engineer of the Yib-Nigaroth. "Oh and you mean my personal body guard? Sorry, but they stay with me, besides I'm not allowed to make anymore of them. Something I heard in a dream about godmoding and all that." He was silent for a moment before saying "Of course if you mean my regular soldiers than yeah I suppose you can borrow.....twelve of them, oh and send the next people in after will you?"

[Zero]

With that Xavier nodded. Going to 12 of the soldiers he put them in a stasis field with magic, and then teleported himself and them to Zed. There was work to be done and he had to accomplish it. The inhabitants of Jumpoffia were a problem that needed to be solved.

[Orga the Strange]

Ra' Kath sighed as the man left and a group of three Smiths walked in.
"Lord Ra' Kath, we are representatives of The Church of Scientology and we wou-" one of them began before Ra' Kath cut them off saying "No" and pressed a large red button causing the room to seal itself and nozzles to come down from the ceiling that quickly filled the room with a deadly neuro-toxin, sending the trio into seizures. Ra' Kath pressed another button and his hologram finally flickered out of existence. Ra' Kath sat at his throne from which he had been conversing with Xavier. Fah-Shing, who had been standing next to him for some time now, asked "Did he fall for it sir?"
"Yes...I believe he did"
"So what are you going to do now?"
"I think I'll take a vacation"
"A vacation sir?"
Ra' Kath nodded and stood up from his throne and floated down the stairs the led up to it, motioning for Fah-Shing to follow him.
"I've worked very hard these past hundred years and I think a break"
"Where to sir?"
"Oh...what was the name of that planet Xavier said he was going to? New heaven? No....Jumpoffia? No, dammit what was it?"
"I believe it was Elmora sir"
"No it wasn't that, you know what, just go through the chatlog you should find it there"
Fah-Shing hit his head with the palm of his hand before saying "Yes sir, want me to fuel up a ship too?"
"Yes, and then we're off to....whatever planet it was he was talking about."
